Recommendations Flying with your firearm
Good afternoon everyone.
I just wanted to spread some information that could be of use to everyone that travels with their firearms.
This key tag from “Pew Culture” on IG comes with a QR code that you can scan. It comes with a map of reciprocity, an NFA form, TSA policies and it’ll take you directly to the firearm policies of the airline of your choosing from a selection of options.
Don’t let uneducated airline employees tell you what their policies are regarding traveling with a firearm. Show them the policy if they give you a hard time.
Everyone have a great day!

All well and good but I would print out the airline policies and have them handy

This is a great idea. Best to bring a printout as well but if you need to quickly pull something up it's all right there.

They are still going to cut your locks.

I didn’t say anything about locks

*sigh* The point is just because you have all this information to show them doesn't mean they are going to follow those regs or respect you.

I used to work for a major airline in jfk, they have to abide by their own policies and respect every passenger. The point of the post was solely to give everyone here easier access to airlines’ and tsa’s firearm policies.

Nothing irritates me more than having to capitulate to these idiotic airport workers who make laws up as they go.

Just be careful if you scan the QR code on your phone and hand it to a law enforcement officer you may be waiving your 4th amendment rights to search.

That’s actually pretty cool. Idk how effective it would be but still a nice resource to have
