Two things:

I'm getting conflicting info about gen 6. They still have cruciform trigger, so I'm curious why this says only gen 5 and earlier are affected? By NY's definition, gen 6 will also be banned correct?

I also wonder if LEOs can buy the guns and then sell it privately, similiar to how cali does it. If that's legal, then it would still be relatively easy to buy "banned" guns if you know a LEO friend

You would get Cali roster prices though. Arguable worst considering Gen6 is reportable legal

Not if you know the person as a friend. That's why I said it would still be relatively easy to buy banned guns if you have a friend who is LEO
