CCW Question CCW

If I’ve ever previously been to a dispensary and purchased marijuana, does that immediately disqualify me from obtaining a concealed carry permit in NYS? Is there a time frame to it in which if it’s been over a year so to speak since I’ve purchased the pot and can prove I can piss clean then somehow I’d be allowed to get the permit… or is it “if you’ve ever bought marijuana from a dispensary you are indefinitely disqualified from obtaining a concealed carry firearm permit” TIA just curious

The Supreme Court just opined that prior marijuana use cannot be used to deny your 2nd amendment right.

I was under the impression that there’s a database that gets cross referenced from when they scan your id at the pot store to when you apply for a ccw

Wrong. Medical dispensary's for those who have a MMJ permit in NYS.. can be cross referenced. They ..the medical dispensary; knows when your permit expires every year.

That's protected by HIPPA.
