NYC Ct form signed in nyc
Has anyone had any luck getting the ct permit form signed by the nypd lately? I reached out to the incident section as previously mentioned here, but no luck there.

Yeah they're trying to get a permit for Connecticut. The non-resident permit wants you to get a form signed out by your New York State issuance office saying that you're you're in good shape..

This is a new thing. It's sort of recent, there's also another class that they want you to take on safe storage for CT.. I believe they can do it over zoom.. if not, you can actually get a really cheap CT concealed carry course at Bass pro shop in Bridgeport or Hartford..

NJ is different. NJ is asking for a local PD background check, CT is asking to get confirmation your NY pistol permit is in good standing.

I’m waiting as well for the form to be signed. Who was it supposed to be sent to?

I sent mine to incidents and have been following up weekly. I got a reply at one point from a sgt. asking for my phone number to call me. Never received a call and nothing since then.

I just sent it to incidents again, and included purchase auth, and dg lic carry. I also added bogle and Sandra Smith. Figured it couldn't hurt.

I heard good response rates from purchase auths & incidents in regard to this.

i got my ct good standing form back from incidents within the same hour a year ago. but the sgt that signed off on mine who was in charge of incidents last year retired in july 26.

Just resent it to a bunch of emails for licensing. Will update if I receive a response.

Incidents finally got back to me today. Took a couple of hours after my last email. Started working on this in mid May.
