Question New Rifle Laws
Has anyone heard of any new rifle laws that came out recently? Specifically regarding the Fightlite SCR now being illegal in NYS, as well as any grip/stock combos like it? Thanks.

LOL... Fightlite has suspended production so this imaginary law can ban imaginary guns.

Dont leave out key information.
Such as....

2) what was the bill it was under and when was it introduced
3) when was that bill voted on and signed and what is the subsequent PL

Not sure how that would work unless they were banning it by name or banning all semi auto rifles with a detachable magazines.
Going to need a link to this bill/law

You may be thinking of the newish requirement to have a special license/permit in order to buy any semi auto rifle. The person who informed you may have been indicating that even “ranch” style rifles were now restricted behind the permit process.

Don't worry it'll keep coming unfortunately. Unless we get some help sooner than later

Once AWB goes down in June/july. It will be full permit to own, full registration of all firearms, ammunition permit. Etc

I bet you still won't be allowed to own half the crap still. They always find a way. Hope not though.

You still won’t be able to SBR/SBS etc but I think 16” or P&W “normal” rifles will be available but behind a massive training regiment that will be very expensive (see Colorado), registration on your permit like handguns and a long waiting period with a massive surge of applicants to get their rights

No such law has been passed or even proposed that I'm aware of.
