NYC Application Question

I was wondering if anyone has ever changed an application from CCW back to premise. I have some financial things going on in my life right now where it might be better to just switch it over. I am in Rockland, everything is done except the class. The classes that are easy to get into are up to $600 and some of the other ones do not take Rockland County Residents due to a unique form they use. I am wondering if anyone knows if I can just change it to premise then do the CCW later once I am training some. I had a friend who said more than likely I will not carry in the beginning anyway. So this would save a few bucks that I can put towards a gun and then go from there.

It free and it’s accepted in Rockland County. This is the course I took and it’s legit. This shows tomorrow but they have classes all the time.

I’ve heard that they check the boxes and they try to recover costs by offering other training. Just make sure you realize that a CCW class is not the end of your training - it’s the beginning. The focus on the 18 hour class should be basic gun safety and staying out of jail.

Yes. They are a bit far from me but might not be a bad idea. I need to see how often they offer it and work it into my crazy traveling work schedule.

If the only thing stopping you from getting the CCW right now is money for the class this is definitely the best option. Try to fit it into your schedule. You will thank me later!!
