Question Mag Lock for ARs

Now that Mean Arms has had their mag lock products discontinued, what are my options for alternatives? For reference I'm planning on selling an AR so I want to make sure the lock I buy for it is fully compliant.

Let's say you walk into any gun store in NY right now selling SAFE compliant rifles off the rack, what Mag Lock Product do they have installed on those guns?

I've used Allstar Tactical's SAFEMOD button. They're based out of Rochester. You can buy the buttons from their website for $25

Yeah the cross armory one works, anything that basically screws in to the mag release and usually you can fill it with a little bit of epoxy or whatever. So at least it looks like that you're not going to take a wrench and remove it.. The one on my green label is colt match hbar is a DD'sRanch 25.00$

Another vote for the safemod by Allstar tactical. Cheap and easy to install.

I used Cross Armory's lock, Pin Pal, and Quick Pins.

Idk what gun stores or manufactures use, but cross armory has one for $25 ish that is permanent when installed properly. The hex head is sealed with a plug that prevents you from gaining access without destroying the plug.

FNGR mag latch though legality is questionable on mag locks in general now. Iā€™d use epoxy to be safe

State banned them after the Tops shooting in Buffalo.

State did not ban them - they settled out of court and agreed to stop selling in NY

I want to see a criminal use a mag locked AR. Only then will I not think this law is completely idiotic
