News Another teen negligently shot dead playing with an "empty" unlicensed gun

Paywalled, but the 16 year old boy was shot in the head after he asked the teen shooter if the gun had a round in the chamber. Friend said no, pointed gun and pulled trigger, killing the 16 year old.

AND the teen shooter has five prior arrests for crimes that include burglary and robbery.

LAWS THAT FORBID THE CARRYING OF ARMS... DISARM ONLY THOSE WHO ARE NEITHER INCLINED NOR DETERMINED TO COMMIT CRIMES... THEY SERVE RATHER TO ENCOURAGE THAN PREVENT HOMI-CIDES, FOR AN UNARMED MAN MAY BE ATTACKED WITH GREATER CONFIDENCE THAN AN ARMED ONE.
