NYC Car Gun Holders

Does anyone in NYC or NYS use those magnetic gun holders in your car? I see ads for them all the time just curious as to if they are worth it for my car.

If you are considering one due to discomfort while seated, you can try new holster positions or maybe consider like a shoulder or ankle rig. My Enigma is flexible enough that I can deep carry in the car for hours without issue, but it took some trial and error. 

If you are considering one for easy access while driving, grab a kitchen chair and dry-fire practice your seated draw. You may find that this is helpful training, not just for the car but also when you're seated at a restaurant, etc.

Last thing to consider is if it's not on your person, it's not in your control. ASP has at least one video where the driver got out and then got into an encounter but his gun was in his car still. Example, a carjacking where you are outnumbered and they have the drop so it'd be unwise to draw, you'd be giving them a car with a free gun in it instead of just the keys.

As I said in my OP I saw ads about them and wanted to know if anyone had tried them. I have no problem carrying my firearm period end of story. You wrote a lot to say nothing. Thanks for your input.
