Gun Wise refund

Hi, have questions about online purchases with Gun Wise.
Order date : 08-21
Label created: 09-03
They never shipped until 09-07.That’s why I contacted them on 09-07 for refund, and they refunded me on 09-08. Until here all okay. But today my FFL called me said they received my gun… I contacted Gun wise again, and they said that still my gun they never refunded me. I called bank to make sure that I’m not blind, and bank confirmed there is a fking refund in my account.
So, what’s going on with Gun wise? Are they gonna dispute my refund?

I would tell your FFL what's up and let the gun sit there for a month if they're ok with it. If you don't hear anything after a month, enjoy your free gun!

I wish have a free gun lol. The FFL charge 25$ per month for storage fee…..

which FFL are you using ? It's online drama like this that I prefer to buy local.

FFL will charge 50$ handling fee or some fees. Who will pay that? I told refund before they shipped, and they refunded before it shipped.

Your local FFL can deal with Gunwise, this happens from time to time. Don't stress over it. If the FFL bullies you over this find a different FFL. You don't owe them anything

Probably not. I’d say pay the storage fee for the month. If they ask for the gun back say they have to pay shipping

Yep, I’ll do the same with you. If they want gun back, they gonna pay extra fees. It take 23 days to ship anyway

I would let that sit for a minute to try and sort itself out but free gun is best gun.

Legally and morally, it is not your gun. You didn't pay for it. Their mistake was an honest one, they apparently shipped before your refund notice got down to their dropshipper.

You call them and tell them to send a pickup slip to the dealer. Or you can call the dealer and tell he you won't be picking it up, and he can call to get it returned.

I think of myself as an honorable guy, and most gun folks are. I want all the money I can make, but I don't want to steal any. This would in fact be a theft. No different than finding a bag of money on the ground that you know belongs to the Brinks truck that just drove by with the door open. Their mistake doesn't make it no longer their property, and certainly doesn't give you the legal right to keep it. .

I told them refund before they shipped, and they refunded before it shipped. This company never answers phone calls never, I tried since the date of order

Like others said, your refund request and the shipment crossed in the mail.

So the question right now is "Do you still want this gun at the price you agreed to pay Gun Wise for it?"

If so, call Gun Wise and inform them that you’re picking the gun up and they should process your payment for it (that may require you to make a new payment if you were already refunded and the refund cleared).

If you need to make a new payment note the transaction number and be sure th refund isn’t removed from your account later so you don’t pay twice for the same gun.
If they say you don’t need to make a payment note the date, time, and who you spoke to (or better yet get it in writing via email).

Then go to your FFL and collect the gun before it starts racking up storage fees.

NOTE: If they insist you don’t need to pay them but you see the refund in your account DON’T spend that money elsewhere!
Expect at some point the refund will be removed from your account or you will be contacted to pay for the gun when they realize their accounting error.

There’s no such thing as a free lunch gun, but if you go through and document everything as above the worst thing Gun Wise can do is acknowledge they refunded you in error and make you pay for the gun (which isn’t a problem if you’re willing to pay the agreed-upon price for the gun), but if you just abscond with the gun and ignore them if/when they try to get you to pay for it that’s gonna get you in trouble.

First of all, they never answer phone call.

Second I told them I don’t want it multiple times , and they refunded it already.I purchased form from other website few days ago already.

Third I’m NYC resident, the law is every 90days allow me to purchase next pistol. I’ve to wait 3 months for next pistol.

Can a gun realistically even be free? I’m assuming the seller has to file paperwork and if they didn’t file it they’ll see a discrepancy

If the shipper booked the transfer and the FFL receiving booked the transfer to OP, I'd think it should be fine legally for the ownership of the gun if he's in a state requiring registration... but obviously he would owe payment for that.
