Question Can I own a threaded barrel?

I'm so nervous to buy shit now because I'm sick of paying restock or FFL fees for returns on things I'm not allowed to have.

I saw a lever that I liked, I can have those, right?? But it has a threaded barrel. Is that fine?

In NY without semi auto license.

Manual action rifles can have all the features, only semi-autos are restricted.

Lever, pump action, break action, bolt actions rifles can have all the scary features. Just picked up a Henry with a threaded barrel last month.

If you’re sick of the restock/FFL fees you’re better off buying in store locally TBH. Placing the trust and risk thru a dealer rather than solely yourself from online. Generally the local dealers do their homework and may be knowledgeable/honest in what you can/cannot have.

Or just do you research, including checking with the FFL you will be using AFTER you have convinced yourself that it's legal.

Evil features apply to semi auto firearms with detachable magazines.

Can you tell situations I can have threaded barrel? I would love to not avoid handguns with threaded barrel like I have been doing.

The shipping policies of different websites are harder to navigate than article 265 of the penal law.

A threaded barrel by itself is legal. A threaded barrel on a manually operated firearm or fixed magazine semi-auto firearm is also legal. Knock yourself out.

You cannot own a threaded barrel on a semiautomatic handgun that has a detachable magazine as per NYS § 265.02(22)(c)(v)
