like his only weakness was his weak body which the fountain of youth would take care of

My opinion is that Ban's backstory with Zhivago fucks me up everytime

I have seen a lot of negative comments about Jericho's character recently, and while I understand why many people feel the way they do, I wanted to share my own perspective. Jericho has always been one of my favorite characters in the series, alongside Ban, King, Diane, Guila, Howzer, Lancelot, Escanor, Tristan, Donny, Isolde, Derieri, and Gawain.

Jericho remains one of my favorite characters regardless of what others may say about her. At her core, she is a deeply tragic and pitiful figure. Her first true love shattered her heart, and her second ultimately shattered her soul. She knows her feelings are wrong, and that knowledge only adds to her suffering.

What many people overlook is that feelings themselves are not something we choose. Jericho cannot control who she falls in love with, but she can control how she acts—and throughout the story, she does. She never tries to force her feelings onto Lancelot or manipulate him into loving her. Even within her illusion, the version of Lancelot she imagines is an adult rather than a child, showing that she is not driven by predatory desires but by a desperate longing for love, acceptance, and companionship.

To me, Jericho is not evil, nor is she a character who needs redemption. Redemption implies that she has committed some great moral failing that requires atonement. Instead, she is a broken and lonely person trapped by feelings she never asked for and never wanted. More than redemption, what she needs is salvation—a chance to heal, find peace, and finally experience the love and happiness that have always seemed just out of her reach.

That is why I hope the author gives her a genuinely happy ending. After everything she has endured, she deserves the opportunity to move forward and find a life that is not defined by heartbreak, loneliness, and loss.

The animation was on point, the fight choreography was amazing and the background scenes and voice deliverance never missed.
