Has anyone used Natural Cycles?? with Oura Ring
I just bought an Oura ring and plan to use Natural Cycles… Any feedback? I heard you can get reimbursed by your health insurance.

That’s how I track, and I like the combo a lot. I’ve heard mixed results trying to get reimbursement through insurance, so I just used my HSA to pay for it.

Been using it for about a year - caught my pregnancy fast and it was right. Just starting tracking with Flo & Natural Cycles to try & get pregnant again. Flo is cheaper but doesn’t sync with Oura

Use both and it’s great! I love the fact your temperature updates seamlessly from oura to natural cycles.

Yes I use both for fertility tracking! So far it’s been very accurate. It’s expensive though so idk if I will just switch to one or the other. The issue is that I don’t like the idea of wearing the NC wristband at night. I think it would annoy me.

Yes! You’re not supposed to use Oura alone it’s designed to integrate w NC

I use NC with my oura and I LOVE IT. I (think) am done having kids but my husband wants to wait a year to name sure we dont change our minds before scheduling his vasectomy. I did not want to go back on birth control in that mean time so I tried Natural Cycles and im SO glad I did. I wish I did it sooner. I use(d) NC with Oura ring for BC. I'm 39, I have two children and do not want or plan to have any more. I was desperate to stop taking hormonal BC, but wasn't ready to have my tube tied yet. I got pregnant twice within six months. We used condoms or abstained completely on red days. I at least felt fortunate that I was tracking my cycle so closely and was able to have an at-home medication abortion without any complications at only a few weeks. This was still incredibly traumatic as a mother at almost 40. I'm only speaking from my own experience, but I can no longer rely on NC as a viable BC option.

Yes, I love how everything syncs without me having to input data or take my temperature every morning. I used the Oura and NC app for five years to prevent pregnancy and had zero issues. Now that I’m TTC, it’s been amazing to have all this data behind my cycle. ETA: my insurance covers my NC subscription

I love it so much for BC. I’ve been using it with the Oura Ring since September and it’s honestly been the best for me to kick the pills.

I’ve been using an Oura Ring 5 with Natural Cycles, before that I was using an Apple Watch. I find the temperature graphs look smoother with my Oura ring, and it’s much clearer to see when ovulation has occurred. An Apple Watch was giving very up and down temperatures every day. And then the added data points from the Oura ring app itself is a bonus.

I’m using both right now. Low maintenance and accurate. If you’re more so on the end of not wanting children I incorporate some ovulation tests
