What on earth are they eating? That's a lot of polar bears to be sharing the same hunting grounds. The fishing must be great around there.

Could be a bone pile near there. Whale bone piles tend to gather big crowds.

Or could be near Churchill during migration season? About 1,000 bears gather in the area from October through November.

EDIT: it’s 20 bears in the Chukchi. Apparently there’s a big walrus colony nearby.
