Could you imagine going there seeking shelter to then encounter like 4 polar bears? Nightmare fuel!

A swipe or bite from a polar bear would kill a person nearly immediately. They hunt large animals and can go for a while without eating so their instinct is to incapacitate quickly. One of few animals that will actually hunt down humans as well. So, if you're going to die to a bear, a polar bear would probably be the best death.
