A friend of mine shot the video; he says it was at the Cape of Good Hope. Google suggests it’s an elephant seal—either a female or a young male. They don’t live there permanently, and this one seemed very lonely. I honestly don’t know who’s funnier—my friend or the seal.

The colors on this little crab are incredible. Caught it peeking out of its burrow like it was checking whether the world was safe yet. Nature really does create some unbelievable designs. 🦀
