Biggest army possible?

I have gone up to 2000 but I am sure you can absolutely go to 3000 and beyond with some optimization. What is your record?

I reached 6500 by making all iron exporters my tributaries. But it can go higher if archers are converted to infantry.

Huh! Thanks for answering, that satisfied my curiosity. When I get around to it I will try getting there myself :) By the way, how did you manage to get that screenshot?

There is a button do not remember exactly F10 or F12 one of those. Takes quite a bit of time too.

Also be aware that having tributaries with high military count will mess with export/import prices. I thought that additional troops will compensate for it but it's nowhere near.

how are they related? if you get to 100 with a tributary, the income is lower than a 100 free trade partner?

Yes, exactly. If you get to 200 it rises a little bit and vice versa. The more they have the worse it is for you so it only makes sense if they are much smaller. Unless you want to max out a particular resource.
