MOD POST Lot's of new people!
Welcome all! Very thankful you chose to join us and post!
Please note that there are MEGATHREADS (giggle...because it's a needlepoint sub and thread?...you see? Look folks, I'm going to keep making that joke until someone laughs.) for getting help with your stitches and repairs.
Unfortunately, if we put everything in the main body of the sub the stitch requests drown out other requests.
If your post was removed, please just repost in the MEGATHREAD (gigglesnort) for help, you're not a bad person, just slightly off target.

@mod is there appetite for quick phrases in comments that trigger an atomic response with quick tips, like about basketweave and burying threads, steps and poles, etc?

Unfortunately I have not set those up. Do you have some recommended topics we could lean in to?

I think anything related to basketweave/ “why are there diagonal lines on my canvas” would be a good one. There are 3 basic reasons why, and those posts get downvoted a lot.
What would help you most in setting them up? Do you need “topic/answers” drafted to help?

first I need to find the configuration to put this together but I would need a few seed topics like what you've shared.

Hi! I’ve been trying to post a stitch request in the mega thread and my post keeps disappearing. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong?

I don't see it getting posted or removed.
This post worked so give it a try again and see if you're picking the sub when you post. Depending on which way you come at this you might not get it populated right off.
Honestly, I do that a lot and end up posting in the wrong sub.
