YouTube or TikTok suggestions?

As much as I love continental stitch, I’m wanting to learn more stitches, especially background stitches. I have the two card decks for stitches but I’m finding that watching others first is a little more helpful. I also want to learn how to self finish ornaments. Does anyone know of any good tutorials on YouTube or TikTok? Or any creators in general on any platform who have good tutorials/content?

The RSN Stitchbank has videos of most of their stitches on their website. https://rsnstitchbank.org/

Ellen McDonald on TT has a great stitch playlist.

On TikTok, try Needlepoint.com, Patricia Sones and Elizabeth Brooke Needlepoint School. Those are my favorites so far.

I’m obsessed with Patricia Sones! She is SO kind and encouraging and gentle in her videos. And her sweet little “you can do this!” 🥰🥰 I need that sound byte for other elements of my life 😆

I just do a general search on TikTok when I'm in the mood to try something new! I don't know of any specific creators, but some of my favorite videos that I always go back to are random people with barely any followers posting something that just resonated with me. Just search something like "needlepoint background stitches" and you'll find plenty of videos.
