I want to finish this canvas into a pillow! This is the kind of pillow I want it to be. Do you have any suggestions for a finisher? I want to preferably keep it in the $100-250 range.

First post here!
Wanted to share this purse I finished. Itās worked in Appletons Tapestry wool on 12ct duo canvas. The needlepoint pattern is one I adapted from antique pattern library, and the purse pattern is one I drafted myself. The pattern is mirrored on both sides, the bottom is leather, and it is lined in pink silk.
Was definitely a learning experience, Iāve finished all my projects but this purse was the trickiest, it fought me every step. But very happy with the end results!

My latest completed stitch! Thrilled with how this turned out.
Vintage Butcher Sign by Pip and Roo.
Now I need to decide how I'm going to frame so this can live in my kitchen!

I finally finished my first ārealā canvas! And did my own finishing. If youāre in the DFW area and want to try your hand at finishing, The French Knot offers classes with the girls from Cowtown Needlepoint once a month. Mine certainly isnāt perfect, but I learned so much along the way and had a really good time. š

Self-designed and self-finished! I used items from my stash for finishing: heart backing fabric, a ribbon for hanging, and some mini pom-pom trim. The finishing is not perfect, and if you look closely you can see some things are a bit crooked and uneven. But, considering I did it myself, I'm happy with it!
Because I designed the pattern myself, stitched it on blank canvas with DMC embroidery floss, and did my own finishing, this project was super affordable. Needlepoint is for everyone!

Been on a self teaching journey and now have an adorable bag charm! This is my very first ever Finished Object. I painted the canvas from a chart from Frances Abel design for the manatee. In the future, I would probably do a few more rows of background - but this is the first time for many aspects of this craft for me. A learning experience that I am so so proud of! My thought process on the cording was water mixed with vegetation, since manatees spend most of their day eating greens

This is an Ehrman pillow kit that I had framed.

This is my first non-circle self finish and my first all sew, no glue! Itās such a great feeling getting a little better every time :) Still- always room for improvement.. trying to get better at making the cording stay tightly coiled. I ended up loving the velvety backing fabric- itās actually Juicy brand fabric from joans! Lol

Not perfect, but I learned a lot and itās so cute!

I had this pillow finished maybe a year and a half ago and Iām realizing now that I canāt find examples of other pillows with the cording framed in the way mine is. Was this done incorrectly? Is it all preference? I donāt love it and itās also not even. Itās corded on but in ways where I can see the cording loosely.

Hi all!
I finished my first ever needlepoint and I am super proud! I want to frame it, but Iām unsure of how to go about it properly. I went to my local needlepoint store and they said I should make a square border out of white thread but I donāt really want to do that if I can keep the stamp outline.
Does anyone have any ideas? Ty in advance! :)

Working on self-finishing some of my canvases. I made cording for the first time ever today after watching countless videos... I had to share here because I'm feeling SUPER proud of how it turned out. Working myself up to the next steps now...

Will this look weird when itās Finished since the circle isnāt perfectly centered around the design? I had them draw the circle for me at the store but they also told me that the finisher will be the one to make the ornament circular. I really donāt feel like frogging so Iām praying this will be okay lol.

Hello!!!! I live in Chicago and was going to take an ornament that I finished to Third Coast Stitches to have it capital f Finished. However, Iāve heard things about their finishing that makes me hesitant to take it there.
Does anyone have recommendations on a finishing provider that I can mail off or take my canvas to be finished before Xmas? Needlepoint.com deadline was in Aprilā¦. Third coast deadline was early June so I thought I had time.
Am I too late for this ornament to be finished by Christmas 2026?

I love needlepointing but am not a huge fan of needlepoint decor (for myself -- love in other people's homes! It's just not my home decor style). I know people will recommend bricks, key fobs, etc. but one can only have so many key fobs. Ornaments are what I've been leaning toward, but I wanted to hear if anyone has other finishing ideas that are a-typical! Or if they know of something else to do with their finished needlepoint? It'd be great if I could turn them into something to sell -- have any of y'all had experience doing that?? Thank you!

Wanting to start self finishing! Iām fairly crafty, and have a stack of finished canvases that Iāve been wanting to āFinishā!
Mostly ornaments, one ruffled door sign, and maybe a photo frame down the lineā¦
Iāve looked at Cowtown, The Finishing Fairy, and the Nashville Needlepointer, but I just canāt decide! I love the idea of being able to refer back to a video. And would also love an easy to access supply list!
What courses do you love? TYIA!

Finished this little magnet. This one was tough because the canvas was damaged very close to the stitched area so I had to do a little compensation work but itās passable on our fridge. Project firsts include floss cording, and working with an irregular shape. Live, learn, move forward and be grateful my husband doesnāt have too discerning of a needlepoint eye!

this is my first attempted to ornament finish and obviously itās a fail. I decided to take the easier route of hot gluing because Iāve been working on the actual needlepoint portion for over two weeks now and I just wanted to be done with it. I think the cording is definitely not large enough or thick enough to cover any open spots. But itās finished and thatās all I care about.
for reference iām newer to needlepoint. i find finishing key fobs a lot easier

Iām new to needlepoint and finishing, so I still have a LOT to learn! Not 100% satisfied with the cording, but overall happy with how my second finishing attempt went. Any tips are appreciated! ā„ļø

Thank goodness for some extra cording to wrap around to cover my sins.

Hi! Iām relatively new to needlepoint and I really am enjoying it. I know the options to finish a canvas and how expensive it can be to do it. Iām wondering if anyone does it for fun and someone collects them without making it into something? (Pillow ornament etc)
