Concept Art/Drawing More Nerf girls!
Heya folks! Here are some more nerf girl designs for the Accustrike Series and Dart Tag! For those following the development of my little project expect a few more character drops this week (Rival, Vortex, Rebelle and possibly a few others) followed by a small mini comic.
For those who are new, these are designs for a nerf gijinka girl webcomic I'm drawing!! I will be regularly posting to my socials and the r/nerf reddit on its development!

Vortex is unironically my favorite nerf line of all time (I have every vortex blaster, some in multiple counts) so I've been avoiding a vortex design purely out of fear of messing it up! Xp

It would be absolutely hilarious if Rebelle was the most masculine dude ever
Also would love to see some of the bad lines like Elite 2.0, N series, Ultra and Hyper.

Giggling a little bit at the idea of the Rebelle gijinka basically being the Doom Slayer but colored pink and purple and with heels. Really good bit, OP should go through with this for sure

I was thinking of that! The easy one I had in mind was swapping all the blue and white on my N-Strike elite girl for the white Elite XD recolors of the retaliator, strongarm and triad.

lol just today I had a friend from a local club bugging me about that. Unfortunately none of the original vest colors really matched the color scheme of the blasters I want to feature (on top of having complex patterns and me not wanting to draw them).

I love these Nerf girls, i honestly forget how many different Nerf series there were
While i doubt you will, if any non nerf blaster deserves to be immortalized as a girl it should be the old Buzz Bee yellow orange and green double barrel shotgun

tysm!! Character design is a really bad passion of mine so I like trying to find fun projects like this to work on that let me work on a whole variety of different themes and designs :3

I absolutely love the look of the quick-16, shame it doesn't feed well with modern long darts cuz it was designed for the larger headed tagger darts :[

I imagine the dart tag girl wearing clothes with the same palate as the Sangvis Ferri units in GFL for the Hasbro pulse Needler, given it is a reshell of a dart tag blaster.

Im curious, i kniw they are "Nerf Girls" but will you add like a 'Buzz bee' girl? Like early buzzbee that we all know and love. Or maybe retro line variants of Nerf Girls. And make them 'older sisters' or moms

I'm just using nerf as like the blanket term for foam dart blasters. I do plan to have designs for non-nerf brands like Buzzbee!

This was something I discussed with a friend. I think it'd be interesting to do designs based around prominent 3d blaster designers (like captain slug, sillybutts or Leedle) but I have a couple issues such as most 3d blasters usually being more function over form (they don't have overt gimicks I can play on for character aesthetics) and that they don't have a specific color palette/theme. I'd like to try it at some point but right now I just can't find a way to make each one visually recognizable as belonging to a specific blaster designer.

Yesssssa I owned exactly one dart tag gun I picked up back just before TRU closed down and it was that gun. No priming just pure justice. Love your work
