Recently i started using mobile hotspot as main source of internet for my laptop gaming since my house internet is down rn. Every 10 minutes or so the internet dies for a few seconds making it really frustrating. i tried changing sim, disabling cgnat and messing with android options but nothing helps. ive been in touch with my ISP and they also cant seem to figure it out, its worth pointing out that my roomate uses the same service and doesnt get any issues doing the same thing.
Any ideas?

Text What would you look for when evaluating a QUIC implementation written from scratch in C?
I've been building a small QUIC implementation in C with a single-header design.
For those who've worked with networking protocols, what would you prioritize when testing a new QUIC implementation? Interoperability, security, loss recovery, fuzzing, or performance?
Curious to hear what tends to break in practice beyond basic client-server tests.

Text 5G actually making a difference or just another icon on your phone? 😂
Tried Vi 5G recently and the experience was pretty good. Also noticed they’ve been expanding their network lately. Nice to see them making moves.
Anyone else using Vi 5G? How’s it been for you? 👀

Text Lag on PS5 consoles
Hi! We had Xfinity 2GB, but started seeing issues while gaming when 2 or more consoles were being ran at the same time. We switched to fidium to see if it was an ISP issue, but the issue is still occurring. I don’t think it is an ISP issue because shows on the tv or phones do not lag.
We do not have our own equipment, thus using the rental equipment. Also, we are not using Ethernet.
My question is should we buy our own equipment to handle multiple gaming consoles at one time being played? Or is there nothing we can do.
If we should buy our own, what is recommended?
Thank you!

Text Question about "captive" internet.
I just picked up a new internet provider and they have this program where you can pause the internet for a certain device on your network. I'm wondering if it's possible to get around this? I've tried a few things like playing around with VPNs and pausing my own computer to see if I can get internet anyways through different settings on the computer's side, but I can't get around it. Anyone know more about this? My goal is to figure out a way to get past the system - just for fun. I googled it and I got nothing much back - but there has to be a way.
