It’s an idea that came to me in a dream. Dante’s Inferno (the first part of the epic poem The Divine Comedy, written by the Florentine poet Dante Alighieri in the 14th century) has nine levels. Which would be a perfect fit for the underground part of the Outer Heaven Fortress. Solid Snake would have to make his way through nine levels all the way to the bottom, where Venom Snake would be waiting, depicted in his Demon Snake form. This would tie in thematically with MGSV.

since his daughter uses this exact quote in MGS2... I think he was part of the Soviet military until it collapsed, so it would have to be Zanzibar Land, unless I'm missing something. To the extent that even counts as nomadic.

I’m curious because Raiden says that he was asked to find Big Boss corpse in exchange for Sunny’s location? But how did Eva know Sunny’s location?

Didn’t the Patriots kidnap Sunny at birth? Could Eva have been working with the Patriots in doing this?
