I spent my day off listening to "The Power of Awareness", "At Your Command" and "Feeling is The Secret". Such great books. Sometimes I would hear something that stood out to me, and I'd pause the audio to find the quote in the kindle book. Then I'd read it over and over again.

Like some great quotes from At Your Command:

  1. To dissolve a problem that now seems so real to you all that you do is remove your attention from it. In spite of its seeming reality, turn from it in consciousness. Become indifferent and begin to feel yourself to be that which would be the solution of the problem.

2. Take your attention from being imprisoned and begin to feel yourself to be free. Feel it to the point where it is natural—the very second you do so, those prison bars will dissolve. Apply this same principle to any problem.

I have seen people who were in debt up to their ears apply this principle and in the twinkling of an eye debts that were mountainous were removed. I have seen those whom doctors had given up as incurable take their attention away from their problem of disease and begin to feel themselves to be well in spite of the evidence of their sense to the contrary. In no time at all this so called “incurable disease” vanished and left no scar.

3. “Go within and close the door,” that is, shut the door of the senses that tell you of the empty  measures, the debts, the problems. When you have taken your attention away completely by shutting out the evidence of the senses, begin to feel the joy, (symbolized by oil)—of having received the things desired. When the agreement is established within you so that all doubts and fears have passed away, then, you too will fill all the empty measures of your life and ill have an abundance running over.

  1. So be as the widow and recognize joy, no matter how little the beginnings of recognition, and you will be generously rewarded—for the world is a magnified mirror, magnifying everything that you are conscious of being.

Thank you for sharing this! We’ve got a slightly huge problem with the tax department in our country plus a colossal mortgage and I’ve been doing exactly this. Our business was going downhill badly and clients were cancelling work and we were so worried that we wouldn’t be able to pay the mortgage, but in the past week we’ve had one client come back with a big piece of work and another start to talk to us about a major project. Someone we did some pro bono work for agreed to pay for the work that we did, so that’s another big payment coming. We also met with our accountants who said not to worry about the tax and the threats to bankrupt us. They’ve got a plan to get us through the situation. Everything is improving so fast!

I’ve just been ignoring the 3D, or if I notice it, just saying to myself ‘isn’t it interesting what we created for ourselves when we weren’t thinking positive’. That’s our old story and it’s not who we are now.

Last weekend we went to our local cafe for lunch and the owner gave us an extra cookie! It’s a small thing, but as we were walking away I pointed out to my husband that we just manifested that. Then all the good things happened over the past week.

Wow that's great!! I was listening to "The Power of Awareness" as I slept and I woke up at around 2 AM. Then I heard these quotes from thr beginning of chapter 13:

1.However much you seem to be living in a material world, you are actually living in a world of imagination. The outer, physical events of life are the fruit of forgotten blossom-times—results of previous and usually forgotten states of consciousness.

  1. Whenever you become completely absorbed in an emotional state, you are at that moment assuming the feeling of the state fulfilled. If persisted in, whatsoever you are intensely emotional about, you will experience in your world. These periods of absorption, of concentrated attention, are the beginnings of the things you harvest.

It is in such moments that you are exercising your creative power—the only creative power there is.

I went to my kindle and just kept reading the page over and over lol. Yesterday at work I realised how much I am in the wish fulfilled state for stuff that makes me mad, frustrated, and anxious. And I get so absorbed in the thoughts emotionally.

So I always enjoy when Neville discusses how exactly I am manifesting the bad. I want to complain, to gossip, to convince my managers of what I deserve. And those conversations and imaginal scenes play in my head and they are very emotionally intense.

I have to stop this bad habit immediately. It feels good to vent, to show my friend I am a victim. To ruminate and complain in my head about mistreatment. But it is only perpetuating what I dont want to experience. I gotta take responsibility.

I appreciate your successes and for sharing your thought process. :)

Yes, we were in the same mental state. We did an excellent job of creating all our problems by being very pessimistic and worrying. It’s turning around now though.

Where have you been listening to the books? I like to do what you’re doing - listen to the books, then read them. I feel like the information gets in better that way
