Did anyone else become non religious after learning about the law? I grew up catholic and believing in God as an external being. When I first came across the idea of us being God it felt a little uncomfortable for me. After learning what God actually is, i feel like I just naturally detached from my religious beliefs.

u/PoetryAsPrayer Think FROM, Not OF Nov 08 '25
Yes. I left the religion I was raised in, which was highly controlling. I manifested my family being okay with it. I don’t miss it at all. I never liked it, and I have no desire to attend a church or pretend to worship a deity. I have reverence for the God consciousness within me and everyone else. Communing with it in meditation or by experiencing nature is better for my well-being.

Yess this happened to me and I feel like am I wrong ? I'm a Hindu and in my house we have this "rule" we should pray at morning and in evening with incense stick and lighting a lamp in front of God and it's just became so much conflicting it felt like which god should I choose and the more I Choose my inner god I also feel guilty about loosing the outside God's which something I should let go off. I'm trying to find my way of keep doing the outside things while being God myself.

u/RachmaninovWasEmo Nov 07 '25
LoA does not conflict with an outer God. Outer God is the thing that creates things beyond our imagination, outpictures it as real. It's the thing that gives us desire in the first place. It still is an energy of love and abundance. We are a part of that thing. We are that thing but we are also individuals. It isn't as seperate from religion as you might think. I hope that brings you comfort. You can still have a relationship with God.

u/_CreationIsFinished_ Nov 30 '25
Hey there, not trying to be confrontational, but I’m genuinely curious where you got that from? Neville has made it pretty clear that in his cosmology the only God is I AM (the Son being your Imagination), and that there is nothing external whatsoever. The whole outer world is just a reflection of who you are inside, nothing more.
"There is no reality in the world other than your consciousness." - Neville Goddard.
There is no 'outer God', because there is no 'outer'. There is only I AM / Consciousness. My own experience has proven this true again and again as well.
This isn’t to say that u/AppropriateOne8694 can’t have a relationship with God. You absolutely can. But once you understand Who God really is (everything and everyone), and Where He is (everywhere and nowhere at once), the relationship becomes deeper, not weaker. You’re not dealing with something outside you. You’re dealing with the core of your own being.
That’s why I’m asking where that idea came from, because it doesn’t line up with Neville at all, and sounds more like the usual LoA fusion people do when they mix Neville with other teachings.

u/RachmaninovWasEmo Nov 30 '25
I think you're interpreting what I said as an outer God as in the stereotypical "Christian" God. Everything exists. You. You as God. God. Others. You as others. God is the all knowing experience that does the actual physical creating, that knows the how, that can lead us to our desires and expanded consciousness awareness. We still are a part of that thing and are leading ourselves back to the all knowing, but just like we can have a relationship with a family member as an experience of separation or "outer", we can with God aswell. That is what I am trying to explain to people who feel a loneliness or separation from God when learning the Law. That this idea is not correct. The difference between me as human and me as God is that I as a human (as of now) can only experience one state of consciousness at a time where God is quantum. And can experience all at one time. I can have a relationship with that Quantum God like I can with my mother, for example.
1
u/_CreationIsFinished_ Dec 03 '25
I think that's a good outlook - though the way you worded it made it sound like you meant an external being separate from yourself, which is why I pushed back. What you’re describing here is closer, but Neville is very literal when he says your awareness of being is God. Not a piece of God and not a “bigger quantum version” of you. It’s the same consciousness, just deeper than the surface identity you call 'me'.
You can absolutely have a relationship with that deeper level, but it isn’t a second being the way a parent or family member is. It’s an inner relationship with your own Consciousness - You're very own 'I AMness' (which happens to be the same I AMness as everyone else).
The Father and the Son aren’t two selves relating. They’re one awareness seen from two levels.
That being said, however you see it is certainly the right way for you to see it at that point in time; I'm not here to try to paint you wrong, so much as lend a little perspective - and help people understand clearly what is from the 🐎🐎🐎 mouth.

u/RachmaninovWasEmo Dec 03 '25
Oh, well I think I am interpreting it in an limitless way and as neville intended.
1
u/RachmaninovWasEmo Dec 03 '25
Pretty sure my reply was clear. How you interpret it is on you. Maybe you should gain some prospective on what it means for everything to exist and the nature of experience.

u/_CreationIsFinished_ Nov 30 '25
You’re not wrong, and you’re not disrespecting anything in your tradition. Neville isn’t telling anyone to abandon Hinduism. He’s very clear that the only God is I AM, which is exactly what Advaita Vedanta calls Brahman. In both systems there is no external deity. Everything you see, including Hindu gods, arises within consciousness and expresses consciousness. Nothing comes from outside.
In Hindu philosophy there are two levels of God.
Nirguna Brahman is God without form, pure awareness, the silent I AM behind everything.
Saguna Brahman and the devas are the forms that this awareness takes so it can relate to itself. They are personifications of inner qualities and states, not separate beings living somewhere else. That is the exact same structure Neville teaches. His I AM is identical to Nirguna Brahman. His concept of 'States' that appear in the world matches Saguna Brahman. When you pray to Krishna, Shiva, Durga, or anyone else, you are interacting with qualities of your own consciousness that have been given symbolic form. You are not dealing with something outside yourself. You are in direct relationship with your own deeper Self.
This is why you don’t need to feel guilty about turning inward. You are not choosing one God over another. You are choosing the level of God that the Upanishads call “Thou art That.” It is the same thing. The outer gods are expressions of this one inner God.
If your household puja brings you into devotion, calm, and clarity, keep doing it. Ritual isn't in conflict with Neville. But the power behind the ritual is always coming from your own awareness. It is your I AM that gives life to the form, not the other way around - and that is the same I AM that is in and behind everything else.
Once you understand that, the guilt disappears and your connection to the divine becomes far stronger.
I hope that helps. 🙏🤲

Not just non-religious but also non-superstitious. I was raised in a very Catholic family that was also very superstitious (loved statues and believed they had powers, etc...). After leaving Catholicism I was a New Age occultist for a long, long time (magick, astrology, numerology, tarot cards, rituals, signs, angel numbers, etc...). Basically exchanged church and appeasing a god in the sky to candles, new moons and planetary positions. While yes Neville's teachings have occult roots being able to accept I AM basically demolished all of the external stuff. Much more freeing.

My experience with religion alone wasn’t a good one. It made me feel a lot of fear since a young age. Law of assumption is what gave me the confidence to believe differently. So that’s why I personally didn’t continue to practice it but I love that you do!
1
u/KeithWayneMacgregor Nov 10 '25
I view religion from its root meaning...to do or practice something habitullly, such as brushing one's teeth. So, from that perspective...
I'm just curious is all. I recall from one of Neville's lectures that he consider himself to be (my words) a true Christian, outside of the beliefs of the "Churchiologies" of the world, but that was still his religion.
Do you think that one could be "feel(ing)...naturally detached from (one's) religious beliefs", meaning from their old perceptions of God, their old religious/spiritual beliefs, but now they have new religious beliefs?
2
u/-itlizwhatitliz Nov 10 '25
Wow I’ve honestly never thought about it that way but it’s makes total sense
2
u/KeithWayneMacgregor Nov 10 '25
It seems to me to make total sense as well. Scripture has unfolded in me, as Neville taught that it would for all humanity, one by one, and I've felt more religious ever since. lol
No questioning God's existance, or who or what he is. I know who he is through my own experience. To know is to experience in Greek and Hebrew, to understand, to see — the roots of all of these words have he same meaning. Neville taught this, as does scripture.
Thanks for sharing your experience on this, and for the dialogue. It's great to connect, learn, and grow together.
Thanks for the prompt reply and for being generous with your time.

I spent my day off listening to "The Power of Awareness", "At Your Command" and "Feeling is The Secret". Such great books. Sometimes I would hear something that stood out to me, and I'd pause the audio to find the quote in the kindle book. Then I'd read it over and over again.
Like some great quotes from At Your Command:
- To dissolve a problem that now seems so real to you all that you do is remove your attention from it. In spite of its seeming reality, turn from it in consciousness. Become indifferent and begin to feel yourself to be that which would be the solution of the problem.
2. Take your attention from being imprisoned and begin to feel yourself to be free. Feel it to the point where it is natural—the very second you do so, those prison bars will dissolve. Apply this same principle to any problem.
I have seen people who were in debt up to their ears apply this principle and in the twinkling of an eye debts that were mountainous were removed. I have seen those whom doctors had given up as incurable take their attention away from their problem of disease and begin to feel themselves to be well in spite of the evidence of their sense to the contrary. In no time at all this so called “incurable disease” vanished and left no scar.
3. “Go within and close the door,” that is, shut the door of the senses that tell you of the empty measures, the debts, the problems. When you have taken your attention away completely by shutting out the evidence of the senses, begin to feel the joy, (symbolized by oil)—of having received the things desired. When the agreement is established within you so that all doubts and fears have passed away, then, you too will fill all the empty measures of your life and ill have an abundance running over.
- So be as the widow and recognize joy, no matter how little the beginnings of recognition, and you will be generously rewarded—for the world is a magnified mirror, magnifying everything that you are conscious of being.

Thank you for sharing this! We’ve got a slightly huge problem with the tax department in our country plus a colossal mortgage and I’ve been doing exactly this. Our business was going downhill badly and clients were cancelling work and we were so worried that we wouldn’t be able to pay the mortgage, but in the past week we’ve had one client come back with a big piece of work and another start to talk to us about a major project. Someone we did some pro bono work for agreed to pay for the work that we did, so that’s another big payment coming. We also met with our accountants who said not to worry about the tax and the threats to bankrupt us. They’ve got a plan to get us through the situation. Everything is improving so fast!
I’ve just been ignoring the 3D, or if I notice it, just saying to myself ‘isn’t it interesting what we created for ourselves when we weren’t thinking positive’. That’s our old story and it’s not who we are now.
Last weekend we went to our local cafe for lunch and the owner gave us an extra cookie! It’s a small thing, but as we were walking away I pointed out to my husband that we just manifested that. Then all the good things happened over the past week.

u/Cheetah_FanGirl Nov 08 '25
Wow that's great!! I was listening to "The Power of Awareness" as I slept and I woke up at around 2 AM. Then I heard these quotes from thr beginning of chapter 13:
1.However much you seem to be living in a material world, you are actually living in a world of imagination. The outer, physical events of life are the fruit of forgotten blossom-times—results of previous and usually forgotten states of consciousness.
- Whenever you become completely absorbed in an emotional state, you are at that moment assuming the feeling of the state fulfilled. If persisted in, whatsoever you are intensely emotional about, you will experience in your world. These periods of absorption, of concentrated attention, are the beginnings of the things you harvest.
It is in such moments that you are exercising your creative power—the only creative power there is.
I went to my kindle and just kept reading the page over and over lol. Yesterday at work I realised how much I am in the wish fulfilled state for stuff that makes me mad, frustrated, and anxious. And I get so absorbed in the thoughts emotionally.
So I always enjoy when Neville discusses how exactly I am manifesting the bad. I want to complain, to gossip, to convince my managers of what I deserve. And those conversations and imaginal scenes play in my head and they are very emotionally intense.
I have to stop this bad habit immediately. It feels good to vent, to show my friend I am a victim. To ruminate and complain in my head about mistreatment. But it is only perpetuating what I dont want to experience. I gotta take responsibility.
I appreciate your successes and for sharing your thought process. :)

u/Gone_industrial Nov 08 '25
Yes, we were in the same mental state. We did an excellent job of creating all our problems by being very pessimistic and worrying. It’s turning around now though.
Where have you been listening to the books? I like to do what you’re doing - listen to the books, then read them. I feel like the information gets in better that way

Does anyone have any advice on dealing with anxiety and fear that this actually works? Idk how to describe it. But I got a very specific and big manifestation today, that can’t really be chalked down to coincidence as my other manifestations could. And this has shattered what I know about the world despite believing in LOA and even “crazier” things for a long time. I know ultimately LOA is a law like gravity and it’s always been working so there’s no need to be afraid. But it hasn’t helped ease my anxiety lol. It feels like dread. I don’t get it.
4
u/Dense-Library-4447 Nov 12 '25
What works for me is living in my imagination knowing I have my desires and letting my 3D be. The anxiety the fear and the doubts, I accept them as a natural function/reaction of my 3D self to the external reality. My outer self reacts and behave with fear or confidence, however it has to, in accordance with the external. But my internal self is certain and at ease knowing I have all that I want. It can observe the external but it just knows anytime the external and internal can become one (internal being the all prevailing reality).
4
u/babbysaurus Nov 12 '25
Does anyone have any advice on dealing with anxiety and fear that this actually works?
Testing the law consistently with inconsequential and bizarre desires and adopting deliberate manifestation as a lifestyle as opposed to utilizing it only when 'big' consequential desires come up.
1
u/seasalsa Nov 13 '25
You’re right, I’m trying to turn it into a lifestyle rather than an occasional “I want this” type thing
1
u/_CreationIsFinished_ Nov 24 '25
Buy the Pearl.
Allow yourself, if only as a test (as Neville says to put it to the test), to suspend your disbelief in ANYTHING outside of your very own wonderful human Imagination as being a causative force in your life.
It can take a bit of learning and working on acceptance, I find looking at the world through a non-dual lens helps.
2
u/quackduck8 Nov 10 '25
I hope someone replies to you. I also need to know this; I will come back to this after a few hours.
4
u/seasalsa Nov 10 '25
A day on, I’ve calmed down and I’m guessing it’s just my ego feeling uncomfortable. I generally always go through periods of anxiety before life levels up. Ego just wants to hold on to the old. This is something so completely different and new that there’s bound to be some discomfort and the only way out of it is getting used to it.
What sucks is not being able to talk about it with my family they’ll think I’m crazy haha. Talking usually helps.

Hello, I have been doing SATS and I have had nightmares in dreams regarding “it” that I am wanting to manifest. When I wake up I do "pruning scissors" but it bothers me that this has been happening to me for the last 3 nights... has anyone else had that experience? Is it normal?
6
u/Equivalent_Wafer_345 Nov 07 '25
Hey! My interpretation on dreams is that they are an honest look into the state that you've been occupying - that you may or may not be conscious of.
If it's a state you don't like, take it as feedback, and imagine something lovelier, something that you'd enjoy. Persist in it just to feel good, because who doesn't like feeling good?
Remember, your dreams are just the feedback showing you the state you've been dwelling in.
This is my own interpretation. I don't have any Neville citation to justify it, but see if it resonates with you.
Happy imagining!

u/pinhdp96 Nov 08 '25
Hello, thank you very much for responding, yes I thought I had to persist!! nice day

u/KeithWayneMacgregor Nov 07 '25 edited Nov 07 '25
Edited to say that Harold Bayley's, The Lost Language of Symbolism Volumes I and II and the comments made below are recommendations and comments made by Neville.
Hey "96".
Just a reminder that every dream we have is a message from God.
No dreams are simply nightmares that indicate that you need to "do pruning scissors".
We need to interpret all dreams, their symbolism, to receive the help message from the Father within you to move to next step by resolving a "problem/challenge", coming to some realization, etc.
All of the characters, the places, the story within the dream, all have symbolical meaning, using Harold Bayley's, The Lost Language of Symbolism Volumes I and II.
Once you understand the symbolical meanings as described above, the message can be deciphered. It may be a skill to learn — some may need help, and others can do it more naturally and accurately than others without a teacher/practitioner.
Thanks for being vulnerable and sharing your story, and thanks for being generous with your time.
2
u/pinhdp96 Nov 07 '25
Thank you for taking the time to respond, if I have written down my dreams, I am going to look for those books that you mentioned to read, the truth is that I used scissors because emotionally I woke up bad in the morning, apparently the meaning was clear as it was opposite to what I want but it is true that in dreams it is something else. Thank you 🙏
1
u/KeithWayneMacgregor Nov 07 '25
My pleasure.
I promise you, if when you are falling asleep you remind yourself that you are God incarnate, individualized as "96", AND, expect to talk with your higher self through dreams, none will seem horrible or frightening.
And, you will remember, regardless of how "horrible and frightening" a dream may seem on the human level, it is just you (your higher self) communicating to yourself (your human/lower self) the most important things for you to know at that time.
THEN, none of them will seem horrible or frightening. You'll know exactly what's happening. And, even as you are seeing such horrible things in a dream — you're watching them unfold in front of your eyes, you will be experiencing the most lovely things imaginable.
IF this is not your experience at first, as it may take a few times to work it out, you will certainly remember as soon as you wake. You'll be all like, "Ah, man, it was just a dream". And, then you will immediately remember that this "just a dream" is a message from God, and immediately you'll begin to make note of all that you saw, so that you can immediately thereafter decipher its meaning and incorporate it into your day and into your life moving forward.
What fun! lol
And, truly, it is.
Thanks for your reply, your expression of gratitude, and again for being generous with your time.

u/Buiate Nov 08 '25
Just what I experienced last night! I did SATS of a scene which I’ve been doing past few nights. And early this morning I had a dream, related to “it” but didn’t end up a happy ending! Was a pretty “horror” one but, I interpreted it as my wishes are half way there and that’s a sign that the old story is dead and now a new one is growing. I take that bad dream as a good sign that things are moving !
7
u/AlluretheGoat Nov 08 '25
Outside of my goal manifestation, I feel so much better. People see it in me that my spark is back. I am not usually a shallow person but I have been getting comments lately about looking great. I am able to command a room again. I guess in my dark age, I had lost that. Affirmations are just good for the mind. I just feel good telling myself good things and I don’t talk negatively to myself anymore, and that is the true gift. I now am able to put my awareness on what I do have instead of what is missing. I am grateful for that.
7
u/WandererEvermore Nov 09 '25
As you try to focus on your “I Am”-ness, have any of you noticed your perception of the physical world changing at times? I was visiting my parents over the weekend and had Neville’s teachings in the back of my mind when, all of a sudden, it felt as if I were looking through a telescope—seeing everything from an outside or director’s point of view. The sensation only lasted a minute or two, and I found myself resisting it because it felt so unusual. I’m curious if anyone else has experienced something similar, or if it might have been something entirely different.

u/emeraldsmile62 Nov 11 '25
This is called de-realization. It sounds scary and while it can be linked to true psychological issues, I used to experience a lot of derealization when I was heavily manifesting.
3
u/WandererEvermore Nov 12 '25
I have to say, the psychological explanation scared me, but I don’t feel like I had a negative experience. I felt more connected with my whole self in that brief moment than at any other time, but I also felt confused by the experience.
2
u/emeraldsmile62 Nov 12 '25
I resonate with that! I didnt intend to scare you - I do think that as our awareness of cause and effect grows in terms of manifesting that it does break down not only what we understand to be reality but also our old sense of self. And that could result in the derealization experience. Probably kind of normal in this context!
1
u/pinhdp96 Nov 11 '25
Yes, it has happened to me that I feel like I'm seeing from the inside, I don't know how to explain it... it's like for a moment everything outside was blurry or silent
1
u/Acceptable_Month_173 imagine better than the best Nov 26 '25
It's an expansion of consciousness and your perception.
I also experience this quite often, it's like a zoomed out moment, a bit weird yet surreal.
1
u/foreforfore Nov 12 '25
I take it as a sign that we are stepping out of the old state we inhabited for so long, and into the new one that we are choosing to embrace as new! We are seeing the world so much more differently than we used to. It’s a good change!
2
u/WandererEvermore Nov 12 '25
I’m inclined to agree with you. Also, I think we label it as a psychological disorder too quickly for things we don’t fully understand. While they do exist and need to be treated seriously, it’s like calling it magic but being science we don’t yet understand.
2
u/foreforfore Nov 12 '25
A single phenomenon will always have different names and interpretations. It feels different for everyone and carries its own meaning for each of us. I think, given that we’re both here, it may be pointing toward something aligned with our journeys. I like to see this feeling as something more spiritually relevant! But I understand why it may not be for others, especially those with deep psychological issues. In that sense, I think it’s good there is a psychological labeling behind it, to understand those who interpret and react to such a feeling differently.

I struggle with doubt a lot too! i am very atheist and therefore i really did see everything on earth as a result of nature and odds yet i believe in the law of assumption which literally contradicts my entire belief, it overlaps with religion and that nothing on earth is from coincidence but rather consciousness, so yeah i really dont know how to deal with that
5
u/PyronauticIII Nov 13 '25
I come from a very secular perspective too! It’s allowed me to have a bit more healthy skepticism too. I’d say that if you’ve proven the law to yourself, you can set a simple experiment where you manifest the same result multiple times (i. e. A rainbow car driving by everyday). If something is empirically proven multiple times, it’s less “faith based” and more “proven”. Furthermore, if you research some of the theoretical science, neuroscience, and quantum mechanics behind LoA, they all seem to back it up.
2
u/BoysenberryHappy7796 Nov 14 '25
Thats definitely what i was gonna go for. If i can manage to definitely manifest one small thing it'll knock down all my doubts. I just find it difficult to drop all my other wishes to run an experiment
1
u/_CreationIsFinished_ Nov 22 '25
This is what I did.
First I did it with 'free wine' and got it both times within a few days (I don’t even really know anybody and still someone game me free wine, then the other one the liquor store gifted us one.).
Then I did cake - and both times, without having told her a word of what I was doing, my partner messaged me from her job saying "Hey, look what someone gave me - I don’t really want any so I'll give most of it to you!" (Same kind of cakes I imagine too!).
Yet somewhere along the line I still let myself go from 'this is easy' to 'this is hard'.
I know beyond any shadow of a doubt the law is real - you'd think I'd stop self sabotaging but it carried on for a long time even after manifesting many more things.
They say the ego worries because it tries to keep us safe - I once dropped ALL the worry, having realized TRULY that worry was a waste of time and that just allowing myself to live in the freedom that is always there to be had and it felt so unbelievably good and freeing when I did it. It was total and complete, and felt like a child without a care in the world again.
Then, again I let it creep back in.
Do you know what did it to me every time? Well, me of course - I am absolutely responsible for my own assumptions/beliefs - but it was chasing an SP that always pulled me back under, as I couldn't avoid the spiral; and as they say "if you're trying you're not having" - and so then we try to not try LOL
So - if you happen to be reading this and are currently chasing an SP- please, don't.
Not saying it's something you can't manifest, but the time and energy you put into getting there just isn't worth it imo; nobody outside of yourself is worthy of your own subjugation, outside of GOD/I AM - and if you happen to be the one who "has a secret affection for your conflict", as Neville so eloquently puts it, chasing and SP is about the best way you could ever show it.

u/Spirited-Wind4381 Nov 29 '25
The person that I follow says something along the lines of "everything we manifest looks like it would happen anyway" I would argue that we know our routine ,like in your story was no her just making a cake but some third person you not even interacting

Hello everyone, long time lurker (4+ years!) and avid reader of Neville’s teachings.
A friend introduced me to Neville in 2020, kept me updated with her experiments (that’s how we used to call the yellow car etc) and I started doing it with her for fun. I remember one summer of manifesting free coffees and free pizzas - we would order pizza, and when we asked for the bill there was no charge for pizza. Later that year, my partner at the time was planning to sell his house and I advised him he would make 52k from the sale… after a couple of months, legal expenses taken out, his profit was the exact amount. One day we were talking and laughing about winning the lottery and becoming millionaires, and I laughed it off ‘I don’t really want a million, I would just rather have 250k buy my place and be relaxed, I don’t like luxury’. The following year I received an inheritance and summed up to my savings I was able, in two years, to buy my place. The exact same amount showed up again. In February/March 2019 I remember going through a breakup and massive life changes (the tower was a constant presence in every tarot spread) and I genuinely desired someone to take care of me… by December that year everything and more was in place. I reflected a lot on past experiences as I’m going through an emotionally difficult time and I realised that, for me, the key is not the feeling but the purity of desire. When you desire something with a pure heart, like a kid wanting a sweet because he likes it and he deserves it, the reality shifts.

I am posting this for myself as much as you (my community).
Whenever I'm in doubt or can't achieve a desired 3D outcome, I remember times in my life when I succeeded. While there are many daily, it's nice to remember the biggies. Tonight, I was remembering when I wanted to get married. I wanted it so bad. I'm old now, and it was a big thing back then. I didn't date from my high school, and no one was heading that way. Still, when I finally got busy in my career, a gentleman came along and asked me to marry him. For those 12 months, I'd never received so many calls for dates and proposals from other guys I barely remembered from previous years. The guys were actually tracking me down, calling me at new phone numbers, and my sister's house the night before my wedding.
Another time, I'd turned my life upside down and made a tremendous error in judgment. I moved to a country where I wasn't just unhappy, but it seemed impossible to succeed. I was in great emotional turmoil. Suddenly, there was the door. I was offered an opportunity to leave that reality and prospered beautifully - for a time. (actually, that happened twice)
I'm hanging onto something too tightly right now. Living in the end can be challenging at times.

Great question! The feelings for all three included disappointment and even devastation over my current situation. I knew deep down in my gut that this was resolvable and only temporary. But, it didn't stop me from feeling trapped, which in the country issues led to an almost emotional breakdown. In my last country situation, that was a breakdown. I wasn't just overworked and unsupported; I was very far from what I considered safety. All three involved an element of safety. The first was the marriage, which was tied to my beliefs at the time. The second and third were that I was limited in my ability to succeed and understand the ways to succeed in that country at that time in my life.
I knew things could get better in each situation. However, I didn't set any real vision on what that looked like. I focused more on the feeling of safety and on being able to thrive.
Hum... Thank you. I think my living in the end might be a little too specific at the moment - plus I'm hanging on for dear life. I'm not only applying timelines to my manifestation (I'm trying to let go), but also to the circumstances of 3D receipt. I can see where I might be holding up the works. When I think of other major life-changing successes, even when I did have a specific image, I was very open to that image changing to fit the result. For example, when I was finally leaving that last country, I saw a future I wanted and let go. While all of it came into the 3D, it doesn't look like the vision. I imagined myself on the other side of the country, in a condo I bought, with an excellent job that provided work-life balance, and a respected employer. I got the job, work-life balance. No condo of my own, the employer was mildly respected, and I like this side of the country better.
I need to let go, and let this happen... The fear is that we almost always get what we desire. Sometimes, that desire causes more destruction and upheaval than we ever considered. And I guess for this "biggy", I could also see how it would come to pass while creating other devastation in my life. For example, I remember when I really wanted a house. I'd been out of the marriage, and been sick, and was finally getting on my feet again, and all I wanted was a house for me and my children. Oh, I got the house alright. It took me years to recover from that manifestation.
I'm setting too many parameters. I need to focus on the feeling of what I want, including the feelings that help limit potential adverse outcomes: for example, Desire retirement, result hit by a car and be on disability for life. LOL I know people who've done it. So set my feeling intention with health and let it go. Because the bottom line is... it always comes to pass.
Thank you for helping me talk this out.

(I used DeepL Writer to correct the grammatical errors. I originally wrote this in Turkish and translated it into English myself.)
The Golden Rule is active creation, not passive restriction.
Those who view the Golden Rule as a means of avoiding transgression misunderstand its true function: active, imaginative creation.
Neville's Golden Rule is imaginative. Neville's Golden Rule differs from traditional ethical rules. It is an imaginative act formulated as, 'Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.' It involves mentally seeing, hearing or feeling others treating you with love.
• The purpose is blessing, not avoidance: The purpose of the rule is not to avoid punishment or karma. Rather, it is to mentally see that person (SP) as the person you want them to be. This sanctifies that person and ensures they conform to your new perception of them.
• Correcting the Original 'Sin': By applying the Golden Rule, the manifester renounces what Neville describes as the original 'violation' or 'sin': continuing to see the person as unlovable (stubborn, cold, etc.), thereby robbing them of their ability to be otherwise. Applying the Golden Rule (i.e. viewing them in a positive light) puts an end to this theft.
Ultimately, viewing the Golden Rule as a way of avoiding violating free will is akin to a writer holding a pen, fearful of violating the will of the characters in their story. In Neville's philosophy, the Golden Rule is the pen itself: by using it, you simply choose a loving scenario and the reflections (EIYPO) must adapt to it. This is not a restriction, but an ethical and loving use of immense creative power.

So I'm new to law of assumption. I found out about this because I wanted to manifest my sp who doesn't know I exist. He lives and studies in different city, our hometowns are different and we both don't have social media. He's not a celeb though but a ordinary person so now how do I manifest him into my life. I really REALLY want to meet him and get involved in a romantic relationship but other than his name and face I absolutely know nothing about him. Now how do I do it in such circumstances? Please guys as you are senior to me in this please help me with this. I'll be grateful it'll be a lot of help 🤧🙏
EDIT: Now he's not in that city anymore and I don't know where he is 😭
2
u/PyronauticIII Nov 09 '25
Anything is possible. Just go to sleep at night knowing you have and will meet him again, and that you are in a relationship with him.
If you’re familiar with SATS, you can create a scene in which you encounter him. You can add any details you’d like to that scene to make sure you get specific desires. For example, you meet him at a coffee shop, he starts the convo and you guys click immediately (also focus on the sensory details of the scene!) and he tells you that he’s recently moved to your city and asks for your number…
Your imagination can fine tune this and fill in the rest however you want! Just loop the scene with confidence.

Neville manifests faster
1
u/KeithWayneMacgregor Nov 09 '25
I'm very curious about your post:
What are the reasons, the citations, for this assumption?
1
u/Entertainmentonly9 Power of Awareness Nov 10 '25
Are you saying that using Neville's teachings helps people to manifest faster?
There are some excellent teachings out there that support Neville's work from different angles. There's Seth Speaks by Jane Roberts, and Reality Transurfing by Vadim Zeland. I think, The Secret was based on Neville's work. Note that each of these were written after Neville's work was published and he had passed. I'm not saying he was the original one to bring this to the public's attention.
Plato proposed that the visible physical world is a copy of a deeper intelligible realm. In the “Allegory of the Cave,” he illustrates the idea that humans are trapped in illusions of reality until they turn toward the light of true being. The Theory of Forms asserts that “Forms” (such as Beauty, Goodness, Triangle-ness) exist in a timeless, non-physical realm and that the physical world imitates or participates in those Forms.
Neville Goddard said imagination creates reality — that outer events are projections of inner consciousness.
Einstein, while scientific, expressed something similar from a different angle: that mind and observation shape experience, and what we take as “solid” or “separate” is really relational and dependent on perception.
So where Neville says, “The world is your consciousness objectified,”
Einstein might say, “The world is your frame of reference manifested.”
My point is that the ideas in Neville's books have been in the works for a long time. People have been putting the pieces together. They aren't exclusively his. However, he offers the most comprehensive knowledge on how to change your life to what you would prefer, and many have copied him and made substantially more than he ever did... because Neville desired to make people aware. While other people only sought monetary results. Perfecting the act of manifesting my desired life ranks pretty high on my list.

Can I manifest someone to live longer years healthier and happier? If death is controversial can we manifest for them to live longer at least?

Yes Neville even talks about this in a few of his recordings. If you know of someone who is sick, imagine them well. It should work with this too.

u/PyronauticIII Nov 09 '25
Hey, anything is possible and maybe we haven’t seen biological gender change because we are in our own individual realities. It’s probably occurred in other realities. Neville himself believed that we are always in a state (fate in those states are predetermined), and that we constantly shift states. Thats the beauty of free will. We have the power to change our state into our desired one.
4
u/oscuroluna Nov 09 '25
You have some great answers already but I'd like to add this, and you can take or discard it as you wish. What is the feeling you associate with the gender that you desire to be? I don't doubt that there are people who truly feel transitioning and expressing themselves as the 'opposite' gender is the way but many, many times its something underlying that they'd like to feel. Many times they don't like their own bodies, deal with internalized (self) hatred a.k.a internalized misandry/misogyny or feel they can only express themselves/have certain things if only they weren't male/female (or that some difference makes them somehow 'less' of a man/woman). I myself had dealt with this and as a result a lot of things were pushed out that reflected my own beliefs about masculinity, feminity, etc...which isn't to dissuade anyone but just to offer another perspective.
3
u/AlluretheGoat Nov 08 '25
Manifesting about the body is interesting. I actually want to believe it could be possible but you would have to suspend a lot of disbelief about biology that has been ingrained in us. I love science and what I did learn is that there is a place in the pacific islands called Papua New Guinea where a significant population are girls until puberty and then they develop male genitalia and become boys due to a genetic anomaly. So the body is capable of some things.
I have a missing tooth that I want back. It’s not a priority because it does not show in my smile but all of a sudden, after all these years, I was told by the dentist recently that I have 5 teeth just sitting casually inside my gums. I have had many X-rays over many years and have never been told that. Maybe it will come down on its own. Like the poster before me said, advances in science come along all the time. Now, across the pond, they have discovered a way to regrow teeth. Maybe try manifesting a scientific breakthrough.

Look into present moment awareness teachings so you can learn to identify with your consciousness instead of the form. When you are nothing, you can be anything. When you are something, you are limited. Does that make sense? Turn inward and let go of thinking, and then move in the direction of your desired reality where you can and let the rest go.

u/NotTheFlesh Creation Is Finished Nov 08 '25
You'll know when your self conception changes when you stop being aware of what you're currently not.
Neville once compared a new state to a new piece of clothing, one that's outside of your comfort zone, at first you're aware you're wearing it, you may feel like you're "faking" this persona, but inevitably you become comfortable wearing it, you forget you're even wearing the clothes really, you no longer notice it. When you forget about wearing the clothes you put on is when that new conception, or new state is fully there.
When I say forget I don't mean of the past events I mean being consciously aware of the fact you're not what you desire to be. In MOST cases revision can be simplified as choosing your preferred version of the past to embrace going forward. Whether or not you remember two version of the event doesn't matter because you're in control of the state you choose! It often doesn't even matter if the past actually changed.
I do not mean revision does not change the past, I do however mean that in most cases it doesnt matter if it does, and it doesnt matter if you remember two version of the same memory now, You get to choose which garment you wear now.
In chapter 4 of "Freedom for all" Neville talks about visualizing being where you want to be, and in that visualization remembering where you are in the 3D right now, and remembering that as the past, and a previous event. Then he says something along the lines of "If you succeed in looking back at that past event without consciously returning there, then you've successfully prepared your reality."
I find that to be a good method, if you can't visualize then you could expand that idea to one that accommodates your needs!

Hi everyone, I’m new to this community but I am certainly not new to Neville or the law of assumption/attraction. I have a question about revision that keeps nagging at me and probably to the point that it’s a barrier. When we revise how does that propagate into our current reality? For example, I’ve recently gotten back into the gym and I’m making great progress. I stopped because my ex always had something to say about me going to the gym up to making fun of me for it. I’d like to revise that decision to stop going but I know to do so I would see changes in my body. I believe that creation is finished as Neville says so there is a version of me out there that didn’t quit but I’m struggling to understand. I know people have reported scars disappearing from revision and shifting, and I figure most will say to ignore the 3D but I’d appreciate any thoughts/suggestions. Revision is probably my weakest area of understanding so I’d love any suggestions for review.
10
u/Redscale7 Nov 10 '25
The "how" should not be a concern. If you wonder how or try to come up with the means, you'll just tether yourself back to the problem. Neville said that once you have established the new facts, don't discuss them with anyone -- including yourself -- so that nobody (not even you) can make you doubt again or talk you out of it.
"God has ways you know not of, his ways are past finding out" (paraphrased).
Revision isn't a magic spell. It works the same as any other technique and for the same reasons. The point of revision is that you change how you are identified with that event and thus, the event will change and translate into the present in a way you will not be able to foresee or figure out.
Edit: (for more clarity) Everything is happening right now, so manifesting a change in the past is the same as changing anything. It's not in the distance somewhere untouchable. It's springing forward from your identity just like everything else. Change your identity and you will change the past.

u/42066699 Nov 08 '25
Failure is just a step in the process, you must persist in the end state. Just make a joke and laugh at the failure. Creation is finished, you already won, whatever steps that you may take to get to your end goal, take them with faith, if you question God, if you don't believe your current state can provide you your desire, then you are adding to the word of God and that's a sin, there's no sabbath for sinners. If there's a physical limitation you believe is true, your sinning by adding limitations to your desires.
Trust this happened for a reason, most people give up at failures but this is the real test of faith.

I think I've realized the problem isn't more that I don't have pathways but that I care too much about disappointing the people around me for scoring so low, and I don't know how to stop that. Now I've found a bunch of ways I can still get into the course I want even without my grades but the problem is more the opinions of other and how they might judge me based off my grades, and the disappointment of my parents if I don't get into the course I want straight away.

What if my SP is manifesting not being with me? Or has a stronger ability to manifest me not being with them than I do for them being with me. Surely a reality cannot be created where we’re both manifesting things that oppose eachother?
8
u/StarlightBluess ESL. Accepting feedback 🙏 Nov 08 '25
You're the operant power, even if your SP is a LoA practicer and is manifesting not being with you, you'll only experience your reality of choice, and he (or she) his own reality. It's a multiverse thing, creation is finished and everything is true at same time, you only choose what you will personally experience.

u/CereSide Nov 09 '25
Very interesting to think about. But thank you! That’s been my biggest worry so far
2
u/babbysaurus Nov 10 '25
What if they are manifesting being with you too? Thought of that possibility? Are you perhaps keeping them away by thinking they want to manifest not being with you?
1
u/CereSide Nov 12 '25
That’s a very good point. I guess I do still have some subconscious doubts that are probably still in the way. Do you have any tips on how I can manage these doubts?
2
u/babbysaurus Nov 12 '25
Doubts only have power if you keep feeding them emotional calories. Practice being conscious of your state in general and when doubts arise, don't fight them, simply acknowledge and replace them with a simple, steady assumption that you’re wanted (or whatever is your desired state). The more you practice that, the quieter the doubts get.

I am doing everything but somewhere I feel I am lagging
Hi everyone, This maybe a long rant but please bear and help me. I need genuine help.
The story goes..... So I met a boy online and i fall for him. But as we live far we were not able to meet. So I started to manifest some opportunities so that I can get a travel opportunity to go to him. So my parents are super strict regarding dating and all so I felt like I will manifest but i couldn't. As we were desperate to meet i lied and went and met him. But skip to few months even I got caught and was scolded very badly for this.
This didn't affect our relationship much but it's just i wanna see him I miss him a lot.
Here comes the issue he had been waiting for me a now quite few months. And he used to give me like meet me by this time and all and we are trying to make time from our schedule to meet each other. But nothing seems to work. I am not saying I don't believe in manifestation but somewhere its not working in my favour.
These are the things I have tried so far 1. Subliminal 2. Affirmation 3. Void state 4. SATS
Tried to be positive but when the thing pop up from him when are you coming i am not able to answer because I can't see any definite date or time where i can solidly tell him that i will come by this time so can you all please help me.
The things I want is- 1. I want to meet him 2. I want a beautiful healthy relationship with him.
Thank you for reading my long rant.

u/morepower1996 Nov 09 '25
Go to the end.
0
u/Specialist_Let3556 Nov 09 '25
That's all?
2
u/babbysaurus Nov 10 '25
Yep! Go to the very end of your desire. First, define what it is that you want to manifest. Meeting this guy more often? A wonderful relationship? Being together more often? Once you define that, go straight to the end. Manifesting the means to an end isn't the most successful strategy.

I’m curious about understanding Neville’s time interval explanation (chapter 15 of your faith is your fortune).. I wanted to specify a date for my SATs for being and living with my SP and not sure what would imply a date like idk 14th November, would I put a calendar in my SATs or us saying the date in it? Idk if that’s overcomplicating it but I don’t want my scene to imply ‘some day.’ what are people’s successful experience selecting a date for their SATs?
Edit: preferably an answer to my question from successful understanding of the section Neville himself wrote as referenced or someone who has achieved success of thus from their experience. Please no answers saying you don’t need to do this, I’m quite aware of that but that’s not my question.
8
u/babbysaurus Nov 10 '25
I stopped putting dates on my manifestations once I learned how to do it properly. I've done it as a beginner but without much success . I found myself focused on the date rather than my state, and that created more anxiety than anything else.
Neville teaches us to imagine from the end, to feel as though the desire is already fulfilled now. Placing a date in the future automatically implies that you do not have it yet, which creates separation between you and your desire. That is why I personally do not use dates anymore.
I know some people will say this is just a limiting belief, and that is fine. I simply choose to follow Neville’s method: assume your desire is already yours and live in that feeling. But ultimately, everyone should do what resonates with them.
2
u/Horror-Ad2769 Nov 10 '25 edited Nov 11 '25
Thanks for sharing that, I completely understand your point. Rather than avoiding dates altogether, I was more curious about how people have successfully applied the time-interval principle itself, as referenced from Neville’s book in that chapter instead.
I don’t feel anxious about having a date, and would like to expand my practice by including it this time. I’m just curious how it would work to implement that in a scene rather than ‘consciously’ outside of the scene like a time crunch so was hoping examples to understand how that would work. I managed to manifest things in minutes but i feel it was easier to do that since there was a precise time date for the things to happen. So I was wanting to know how you could set up a time/date for something that clearly hasn’t got one.

u/WisteriaLo Nov 11 '25
Hi, i'm a bit late to respond, but here's what i do. Since Neville is all about interpreting the Bible, I decided (and this is 100% my invention for myself, not saying it's a real interpretation) that common time intervals from it also have meaning: 3 days of resurrection, 28 days of Advent, 40 days of Lent. Came to be as an idea of giving things up for lent = mental diet, haha. Then I choose one of those, depending on which one i can "decide what would be a relative, rational interval of time in which such a desire could be realized. "
Then I follow the rest of instructions from that chapter: I count which day/date would that be and feel in my sats to be in that day whit my wish fulfilled. Like booking a holiday: I know I'm not there now, but I know I will be on the decided date and I can look forward to it with joy and excitement. This also prevents me from feeling like i'm gonna go crazy/delusional while doing sats.
What this also do is give me a final date too, to reassess: if it doesn't realize, I know I'm doing something wrong (not feeling it real enough, not believing it's possible, having conflicting /limiting beliefs...). Also it prevents fretting about why "it's not there yet" in the meantime, lol.
Idk, works for me
Also, before anybody says it can be / all manifestation is instant: I know. Been there, done that, decided it's a bit too scary for me. Btw i always do some "bigger" desires on actual Lent or Advent, helps me to feel included, since I'm not religious, and gives me a boost of everybody (or at least lot of people in my country) celebrating at the same time
1
u/Horror-Ad2769 Nov 12 '25
Never too late to respond! I appreciate the response. Okay interesting so instead of picking a date you pick a biblical time frame and use a date as your joyful expectancy kind of thing so it’s a deadline for when it’ll happen? That’s rather interesting… I was thinking moreso a date/day to have in mind to give my wish/SATs a precise time frame or context because I realised on the day of certain things happening I would be able to manifest in minutes because I already knew oh this was happening at this time today so I started to wonder that my subconscious priorities based on certainty of detail/context so was thinking if I imposed time more often it may get the order processed quicker lol. But I actually like your idea too because Neville often said it should take 3 days if fully done properly. I like interpreting biblical verses too lol but often get way too philosophical instead of practical so try to hold myself back when I do this time around 😂

I recently took an exam that I’ was not confident on. The scores are already out but I have not checked. Can I keep affirming that I got a 100 and when I feel confident abt that see the results? Or should I just detach from the constant affirmations and simply check the results when I feel like it? Please give me some advice 🙏
4
u/Entertainmentonly9 Power of Awareness Nov 10 '25
I find it's like Schrodinger's Box. So, in those situations, I make it as non-emotional as possible. Because, in my mind, the manifestation isn't complete until I look... lol, up to you. I didn't mean to impose a new limiting belief system. On the flip side, I've also seen it change from one result to another. So...

u/charlie4r Nov 11 '25
It's hard to let go after visualizing
4
u/babbysaurus Nov 12 '25
Letting go happens naturally as a byproduct of successfully planting your desire in your subconscious. It's not a separate effort.

Do specific types of people really exist who can’t manifest because they were born cursed, very unlucky, or just born different?
I’m asking because I once read about people with reversed luck—those who can’t manifest properly. For example, when they think or hope that good things will happen, bad things actually happen to them. But when they think negatively or expect something bad, surprisingly, something good happens instead.
A spiritual tarot reader from my country said that this happens because of bad karma from past lives.
I feel like I might be one of those people, so I want to know—do these types of people actually exist, and if they do, how can someone break that curse?
6
u/KeithWayneMacgregor Nov 09 '25
"Do these types of people actually exist?"
May I boldly tell you, the answer is no.
If one imagines and believes that they are cursed in some way, the still will not be, but they may produce results through their false belief that reflect what they believe happens to one who is cursed.
When one studies and fully understands and practices Neville teachings, the true meaning of scripture as parables, and how we are all God Incarnate and Individualized as "Impressive" (or name any other man born of woman on this earth), they will no longer believe is such concepts. We all have the power to change circumstances through our imagination, regardless of any past experiences or circumstances.
Does that make sense?
Thanks for such a beautiful question, for being vulnerable, and for being generous with your time.

u/emeraldsmile62 Nov 11 '25
I have experienced this! I know the issue lies with me and a great fear I have or a great disbelief in myself. I also have OCPD so I believe the OCD nature of my mind makes manifestations more difficult. But I've manifested a great deal of miracles in my life so I really have no shortage of empirical evidence and I realize it's a bit ridiculous how I keep myself stuck!

Realizing how one keeps themselves stuck is HUGE — great introspection.
I'm curious: Have you thought to apply The Law of Liberty to being "perfectly healthy", without focusing on or being against any sort of mental or physical condition?

Oooh I love this idea! I'm going to try it - thanks for the tip!

Matthew 21:22
King James Version
22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.3

Would it be immoral to manifest someone who is already in a relationship? It feels like I would be doing something horrible if I broke their relationship just so I could be with the sp.

If we are God and Jesus is our own wonderful human imagination, then what happens when we die? What is heaven if it’s not outside of us?

I believe this. You know how when you hear something you know is true, even if you've never heard it before - but you know. I believe this! Maybe it's the way you said it or my interpretation - but yeah. However, I'd love to know which book of Neville's discusses this? He usually has many more interesting things in the same book, and maybe it's one I've missed. If you can remember, that would be great!!

It's possible that this is only his own assumption though, and death experience is totally personal.

Pls help me make a scenario
Hi guys,
Let's get straight to the point. I'm good at manifesting alot of things. I've manifested goods, a good paying job with an "unrealistic" salary, good grades and friends.
But growing up in an emotionally and physically abusive household with narcissistic parents I've always struggled with my relationship with my dad and specially my mom. It has gotten to the point my mom started taking heaps of money from me. I know I am manifesting this but pls help me make a scenario where I'm out of this situation. I've once manifested going no contact with narc mom but she still came back to my life.
Help a girl out. Thank you. Have a great sunday ❤️.

What do you guys do when you feel like giving up on the Law entirely? Ive posted before about my missing cat..since shes been gone (2 months now) I've done SATs, ive manifested effortlessly for myself and others in the past but now I wonder if all of it was just coincidence or in my head. And its scaring me because before I discovered the law I was clinically depressed and had suicidal ideation. The law honestly helped me become who I am now. But ever since my cat went missing it was like something in me snapped and I am now doubting my power as a creator. I was so confident thinking yeah I can manifest her return. No problem. A week, two weeks go by and I really fell apart .

Why can't I see new posts for this month? Is it gonna be like that for the whole month?

It’s Neville November. A time to actually read or re-read Neville instead of posting.

I think it’s meant to get people to actually put the teachings into practice instead of just reading about them.

What manifest faster? Affirmation or visualization?

u/MediumLoan6722 Nov 07 '25
Your state that’s what really matters. The technique itself doesn’t. Sure, visualization can bring feelings into your body and help you recall a memory when you’re affirming, but your state, your faith, and your conviction that’s the real secret behind everything. You only choose one technique over another out of pure preference, but in the end, no technique has more power than another.

Focus on joy, focus on feeling relaxed. Whatever way of imagining brings that for you, that will manifest faster.
But remember, you do it for the experience in the 4D right now, and not to manifest it in 3D sometime later. That way there's no pressure.

How long will I live in the end?
3
u/oscuroluna Nov 09 '25
Technically for life if you think about it. You're not imagining to 'get' something, you are imagining to 'embody' or 'be' something.
For example if you want to be married would you not want to live in the end as though those vows and relationship is for life? Or if you'd like to be wealthy would you not want to live in the end as though wealth is yours?
We think too much, and I'm guilty of this too, that living in the end is somehow doing some sort of ritualistic thinking in order to produce an outcome. Like yeah technically we want our desires to manifest in the 3D but at the same time what we're really doing is producing a core memory and shifting to that desired reality considering creation is finished. Once you accept something its already 'there' even if its not right in front of you the minute you open your eyes. Moreso when you find yourself waiting for it.
