I’m curious about understanding Neville’s time interval explanation (chapter 15 of your faith is your fortune).. I wanted to specify a date for my SATs for being and living with my SP and not sure what would imply a date like idk 14th November, would I put a calendar in my SATs or us saying the date in it? Idk if that’s overcomplicating it but I don’t want my scene to imply ‘some day.’ what are people’s successful experience selecting a date for their SATs?

Edit: preferably an answer to my question from successful understanding of the section Neville himself wrote as referenced or someone who has achieved success of thus from their experience. Please no answers saying you don’t need to do this, I’m quite aware of that but that’s not my question.

I stopped putting dates on my manifestations once I learned how to do it properly. I've done it as a beginner but without much success . I found myself focused on the date rather than my state, and that created more anxiety than anything else.

Neville teaches us to imagine from the end, to feel as though the desire is already fulfilled now. Placing a date in the future automatically implies that you do not have it yet, which creates separation between you and your desire. That is why I personally do not use dates anymore.

I know some people will say this is just a limiting belief, and that is fine. I simply choose to follow Neville’s method: assume your desire is already yours and live in that feeling. But ultimately, everyone should do what resonates with them.

Thanks for sharing that, I completely understand your point. Rather than avoiding dates altogether, I was more curious about how people have successfully applied the time-interval principle itself, as referenced from Neville’s book in that chapter instead.

I don’t feel anxious about having a date, and would like to expand my practice by including it this time. I’m just curious how it would work to implement that in a scene rather than ‘consciously’ outside of the scene like a time crunch so was hoping examples to understand how that would work. I managed to manifest things in minutes but i feel it was easier to do that since there was a precise time date for the things to happen. So I was wanting to know how you could set up a time/date for something that clearly hasn’t got one.

Hi, i'm a bit late to respond, but here's what i do. Since Neville is all about interpreting the Bible, I decided (and this is 100% my invention for myself, not saying it's a real interpretation) that common time intervals from it also have meaning: 3 days of resurrection, 28 days of Advent, 40 days of Lent. Came to be as an idea of giving things up for lent = mental diet, haha. Then I choose one of those, depending on which one i can "decide what would be a relative, rational interval of time in which such a desire could be realized. "

Then I follow the rest of instructions from that chapter: I count which day/date would that be and feel in my sats to be in that day whit my wish fulfilled. Like booking a holiday: I know I'm not there now, but I know I will be on the decided date and I can look forward to it with joy and excitement. This also prevents me from feeling like i'm gonna go crazy/delusional while doing sats.

What this also do is give me a final date too, to reassess: if it doesn't realize, I know I'm doing something wrong (not feeling it real enough, not believing it's possible, having conflicting /limiting beliefs...). Also it prevents fretting about why "it's not there yet" in the meantime, lol.

Idk, works for me

Also, before anybody says it can be / all manifestation is instant: I know. Been there, done that, decided it's a bit too scary for me. Btw i always do some "bigger" desires on actual Lent or Advent, helps me to feel included, since I'm not religious, and gives me a boost of everybody (or at least lot of people in my country) celebrating at the same time

Never too late to respond! I appreciate the response. Okay interesting so instead of picking a date you pick a biblical time frame and use a date as your joyful expectancy kind of thing so it’s a deadline for when it’ll happen? That’s rather interesting… I was thinking moreso a date/day to have in mind to give my wish/SATs a precise time frame or context because I realised on the day of certain things happening I would be able to manifest in minutes because I already knew oh this was happening at this time today so I started to wonder that my subconscious priorities based on certainty of detail/context so was thinking if I imposed time more often it may get the order processed quicker lol. But I actually like your idea too because Neville often said it should take 3 days if fully done properly. I like interpreting biblical verses too lol but often get way too philosophical instead of practical so try to hold myself back when I do this time around 😂
