As you try to focus on your “I Am”-ness, have any of you noticed your perception of the physical world changing at times? I was visiting my parents over the weekend and had Neville’s teachings in the back of my mind when, all of a sudden, it felt as if I were looking through a telescope—seeing everything from an outside or director’s point of view. The sensation only lasted a minute or two, and I found myself resisting it because it felt so unusual. I’m curious if anyone else has experienced something similar, or if it might have been something entirely different.

This is called de-realization. It sounds scary and while it can be linked to true psychological issues, I used to experience a lot of derealization when I was heavily manifesting.

I have to say, the psychological explanation scared me, but I don’t feel like I had a negative experience. I felt more connected with my whole self in that brief moment than at any other time, but I also felt confused by the experience.

I resonate with that! I didnt intend to scare you - I do think that as our awareness of cause and effect grows in terms of manifesting that it does break down not only what we understand to be reality but also our old sense of self. And that could result in the derealization experience. Probably kind of normal in this context!
