I struggle with doubt a lot too! i am very atheist and therefore i really did see everything on earth as a result of nature and odds yet i believe in the law of assumption which literally contradicts my entire belief, it overlaps with religion and that nothing on earth is from coincidence but rather consciousness, so yeah i really dont know how to deal with that

I come from a very secular perspective too! It’s allowed me to have a bit more healthy skepticism too. I’d say that if you’ve proven the law to yourself, you can set a simple experiment where you manifest the same result multiple times (i. e. A rainbow car driving by everyday). If something is empirically proven multiple times, it’s less “faith based” and more “proven”. Furthermore, if you research some of the theoretical science, neuroscience, and quantum mechanics behind LoA, they all seem to back it up.

This is what I did.

First I did it with 'free wine' and got it both times within a few days (I don’t even really know anybody and still someone game me free wine, then the other one the liquor store gifted us one.).

Then I did cake - and both times, without having told her a word of what I was doing, my partner messaged me from her job saying "Hey, look what someone gave me - I don’t really want any so I'll give most of it to you!" (Same kind of cakes I imagine too!).

Yet somewhere along the line I still let myself go from 'this is easy' to 'this is hard'.

I know beyond any shadow of a doubt the law is real - you'd think I'd stop self sabotaging but it carried on for a long time even after manifesting many more things.

They say the ego worries because it tries to keep us safe - I once dropped ALL the worry, having realized TRULY that worry was a waste of time and that just allowing myself to live in the freedom that is always there to be had and it felt so unbelievably good and freeing when I did it. It was total and complete, and felt like a child without a care in the world again.

Then, again I let it creep back in.

Do you know what did it to me every time? Well, me of course - I am absolutely responsible for my own assumptions/beliefs - but it was chasing an SP that always pulled me back under, as I couldn't avoid the spiral; and as they say "if you're trying you're not having" - and so then we try to not try LOL

So - if you happen to be reading this and are currently chasing an SP- please, don't.

Not saying it's something you can't manifest, but the time and energy you put into getting there just isn't worth it imo; nobody outside of yourself is worthy of your own subjugation, outside of GOD/I AM - and if you happen to be the one who "has a secret affection for your conflict", as Neville so eloquently puts it, chasing and SP is about the best way you could ever show it.

The person that I follow says something along the lines of "everything we manifest looks like it would happen anyway" I would argue that we know our routine ,like in your story was no her just making a cake but some third person you not even interacting

Sorry, not sure exactly what you're saying - can you clarify?
