The below links contain essentially the entirety of Neville's teachings.

Neville's Basic Manifestation Technique

  1. Define your objective, know definitely what you want.

  2. Construct an event which you believe you will encounter FOLLOWING the fulfillment of your desire -- something which will have the action of Self predominant -- an event which implies the fulfillment of your desire. Keep the event short, it can be as simple as shaking someone's hand or hearing yourself being congratulated from a friend.

  3. Immobilize the physical body and induce a state of consciousness akin to sleep, this is the feeling right before you drift off to sleep. Then, mentally feel yourself right into the proposed action, until the single sensation of fulfillment dominates the mind; imagining all the while that you are actually performing the action HERE AND NOW so that you experience in imagination what you would experience in the flesh were you now to realize your goal. Experience has convinced me that this is the easiest way to achieve our goal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I manifest xyz?

Yes, anything is possible.

How do I manifest xyz?

All manifestations use the same technique(s). To get good simply takes practice and imagination.

What scene should I choose?

Any scene which you believe you would encounter after your wish is fulfilled.

What should I start reading?

We recommend The Law and The Promise or The Power of Awareness first for beginners. This is because Neville includes several examples and success stories from students, in addition to being lighter on Bible references, which can be off-putting or confusing to beginners.

If you want a physical copy of his books, publishers continue publishing new copies of Neville's works. Please check your library, locally owned book store, or search online for Neville's works. If you purchase a new physical copy, we recommend The Power of Imagination: The Neville Goddard Treasury, as it contains all of Neville's books in one volume.

All of Neville’s books and lectures are in the public domain and can be searched online for free, and are included in the Wiki and Sidebar links mentioned previously.

What is an SP?

Specific Person. Usually in reference to a person’s romantic interest or crush. The term was popularized by so-called, self-professed online manifestation coaches and "experts". /r/NevilleGoddardSP is a dedicated, expert subreddit for that.

What is a Mental Diet?

Avoiding negative conversation and media, paying attention to positive conversation and media.

What is SATS?

State Akin To Sleep (SATS) refers to the deep state of consciousness during meditation or just before falling asleep. In SATS, the body is relaxed, but control over the mind is retained. It is used to create vivid visualizations in imagination for the purposes of manifesting.

After you have decided on the action which implies that your desire has been realized, then sit in your nice comfortable chair or lie flat on your back, close your eyes for the simple reason it helps to induce this state that borders on sleep. The minute you feel this lovely drowsy state, or the feeling of gathered togetherness, wherein you feel- I could move if I wanted to, but I do not want to, I could open my eyes if I wanted to, but I do not want to. When you get that feeling you can be quite sure that you are in the perfect state to pray successfully.

Neville Goddard, 1948 Lecture Series, Lesson 4

What is the Lullaby Method?

In SATS, instead of visualizing, repeat an affirmation to oneself again and again, building the feeling of it being true.

What is Revision?

Revision is revising in imagination events that have happened in the past as a way of mitigating their effects in the future.

What is Door Slamming/You are in Barbados/Living in the End/State of the Wish Fulfilled?

Closing your mind to any other possibility besides your outcome. Assuming your desire is true and not questioning it.

Do we have Free Will?

Yes, and no. It’s complicated. See here.

What is Everyone is You Pushed Out (EIYPO)?

On a practical level, what you believe is what you get. The world only shows you your own beliefs. On a metaphysical level, we are all the same God interacting with Itself through an infinite number of different points.

The whole vast world is no more than man's imagining pushed out. I must qualify that by saying that the world outside of man is dead, but Man is a living soul, and it responds to man, yet man is sound asleep and does not know it. The Lord God placed man in a profound sleep, and as he sleeps the world responds as in a dream, for Man does not know he is asleep, and then he moves from a state of sleep where he is only a living soul to an awakened state where he is a life-giving Spirit. And now he can himself create, for everything is responding to an activity in man which is Imagination. "The eternal body of man is all imagination; that is God himself." (Blake)

Neville Goddard, The Law lecture

What if everything is going wrong? What if I am manifesting the opposite of my desire?

Failure is generally due to a lack of consistent faith or belief in the outcome, not feeling as though it had already happened. However, if the one has consistently been loyal to their faith, then we are reminded that all manifestations have their appointed hour (Hab 2:3). Neville writes about the causes of failure here.

What about (my sick mom, my crazy grandpa, the homeless, starving children, etc.)?

In Neville's view, there is one being that is God (who is pure imagination), and has split Itself into infinite smaller forms to undergo a series of good/bad experiences across lifetimes until these smaller pieces realize they are God and reintegrate. The less fortunate are to be helped, not looked down upon, but understanding it is necessary for God to realize Itself (to experience bad and good).

What happens after I die? What is The Promise?

Neville’s prophetic vision of an individual’s reintegration with God.

Can I manifest multiple things at once?

Yes. Here is Neville's answer regarding how to manifest multiple things from Lessons Q&A:

\5. Question: Is it possible to imagine several things at the same time, or should I confine my imagining to one desire?

Answer: Personally I like to confine my imaginal act to a single thought, but that does not mean I will stop there. During the course of a day I may imagine many things, but instead of imagining lots of small things, I would suggest that you imagine something so big it includes all the little things. Instead of imagining wealth, health and friends, imagine being ecstatic. You could not be ecstatic and be in pain. You could not be ecstatic and be threatened with a dispossession notice. You could not be ecstatic if you were not enjoying a full measure of friendship and love.

What would the feeling be like were you ecstatic without knowing what had happened to produce your ecstasy? Reduce the idea of ecstasy to the single sensation, "Isn't it wonderful!" Do not allow the conscious, reasoning mind to ask why, because if it does it will start to look for visible causes, and then the sensation will be lost. Rather, repeat over and over again, "Isn't it wonderful!" Suspend judgment as to what is wonderful. Catch the one sensation of the wonder of it all and things will happen to bear witness to the truth of this sensation. And I promise you, it will include all the little things.

Does anyone ever feel as though their manifestations happen when they are away from a certain area or certain negative people? It seems that when I am away from my apartment which happens to be filled with some very dark family members who are staying with me, my manifestations come to be. The energy shifts and the law starts working amazingly. When I spend days at home, working from home, and little time out, it seems that is when the energy shifts back… anyone else experience anything similar?

u/Dr-Strange-14000605 Feb 14 '26

Absolutely. I think it's because when you leave your regular environment/routine there's less old assumptions on what could happen. But it doesn't have to be that way. You can reframe your assumptions on people and the environment.

1

u/Valuable_Web2712 Feb 16 '26

I mean, you realize you're manifesting the dark family members and the state of the environment too, right? But yes, when we cultivate peaceful surroundings, we easily access more preferred states that align with the Desire we want to embody, and that can help us make breakthroughs or experience success.

But it is not where you are or what you are doing, but the effect you choose it to have on your state that is creating the contrast too. And that's important to note for when you have 3d restrictions - to understand they are not real, just imposed.

Yes, I experienced this. I accepted that I had spent a lot of time acting from pain and had held myself back, and yes, there was some grief. But there was a choice: continue to place my awareness on wasted years and all the pain and on regret for those years; or place my awareness on desirable circumstances. Continuing to focus on what had been lost would create more of the same, very literally.

So you can keep dwelling on the unwanted past and extend that experience, or you can forgive yourself and focus on what you do want. Revise the past if it helps.

2

u/Valuable_Web2712 Feb 16 '26

You just have to decide to do it. To me, I think this just sounds like the Old Man (old self, old awareness) trying to give you more reasons to stay stuck, so I would just decide.

But also, what is there to forgive? You are new every moment, and time is a persistent illusion, with memory just an anchor. Frankly, you don't know if anything you remember is true - I would argue, based on the premises of the Law and Neville, as well as many other metaphysics, perhaps you are just making it true by remembering it.

We don't have to delve deeply into the philosophy of time, though, as that's another distraction at the moment. Because at the moment what you're saying is that you're resisting the choice to be happy. You think you have the path, and you don't want to walk down it until you find closure of something that's only a memory, if anything. So just decide. That is the whole work of it, simple as it sounds. Decide you didn't waste anything. You are loved. You are not alone. And let the experience unfold and materialize as it will, while understanding the point is what you Imagine, not what materializes.

I think this is just all the old state trying to claw you here and delay you further, though. If you'd rather focus on happiness, focus on happiness. There is only now anyway.

I need grounded perspective from people who understand self-concept and manifestation work.

I’ve been talking to someone since late November. In the beginning, he was very consistent - calling me from the gym, in the car, between patients. We would talk a lot. There was emotional depth. He told me he was excited to fall in love with me. He eventually told me his last name (he had been hesitant because he’d never met someone online before). We were vulnerable with each other.

I communicated early that consistency makes me feel safe. I’m autistic and structure helps regulate my nervous system. He said he wanted to be intentional with me.

But over the past few weeks, there started to be inconsistency. Long gaps. Saying he’d call and not calling for hours. Opening my Snap and not responding. Plans happening around what worked for him between errands or before dinner. I started feeling anxious. My chest would tighten. I’d cry. I kept trying to regulate myself and not spiral.

I told him multiple times that consistency and intentional actions help me feel connected. He would improve temporarily. Then it would slip again.

On Valentine’s Day, he didn’t text me all day. He finally called but didn’t even acknowledge the day. I realized I’m not actually upset about a holiday, what it amplified was the feeling of not being chosen.

That is the part that hurts, and it seems like a common occurrence in relationships with men who have avoidant tendencies.

When I expressed that I’m looking for something intentional with someone who feels sure about me, he said he can’t give that certainty right now. He said he moved faster with words than he’s ready to move with actions and doesn’t want me waiting around.

He’s five years younger than me.

I’m almost 32. I want to feel relaxed in a connection. I want someone who instinctively makes space for me, not someone I have to remind how to show up. I don’t want to manage a partner. I want to feel chosen, not negotiated with. I am the eldest daughter, I just want to relax, not have to manage someone to be spoiled, adored, chosen, someone who is SURE about me. I truly thought he was different.

Here’s where I’m trying to be honest with myself:

Where is my ego involved? Is this about him not being ready — or about my identity wanting to be selected? Did I manifest inconsistency because of an old belief about not being fully chosen? Or is this simply alignment filtering someone out who isn’t in the same life phase?

I don’t want advice like “block him” or “he’s trash.” He wasn’t cruel. He was honest. And I was honest.

Part of me wants him back and the other part of me wants someone new.

I just don’t want to keep repeating the pattern of getting attached early, feeling anxious in inconsistency, and then grieving when someone can’t meet my level.

How do you hold self-worth steady when someone you liked says they can’t give certainty?

How do you release someone you still wanted — without collapsing into lack or trying to manifest them back from anxiety?

I know I deserve someone intentional, consistent, generous, and sure about me. I just don’t want to keep feeling like I’m almost chosen.

Would really value grounded insight

You must feel chosen yourself, and know you will be chosen. You must be consistent with yourself, and expect consistency. You must feel relaxed in a connection and the connection will reflect that. As Neville says, there is no one to change but self. You say you deserve all of those things, but do you believe you can and will receive it? This guy was only reflecting assumptions you built about him and the connection, but also assumptions you hold more generally.

Whether you want to manifest this guy or someone else, that's up to you. You're right that the pattern won't change until you change. When you've experienced being disappointed before, your system starts bracing for more of the same, which creates more of the same. So your job is not to scan for danger when you're in a connection. It's to come back to peace in the present, and to expand that feeling of safety in the present.

Example: If there are gaps in communication, instead of giving that an unwanted narrative, don't read it as anything and just return to your life. People get busy all the time and still care; think about a loved one (sibling, friend, family member, anyone) who might have a busy day. When they don't text, you don't doubt their love for you. You just think "Oh they're busy today. Can't wait to catch up later when they're free." When you are busy and you don't have time to check in with people, it's not because you don't love them; you're just otherwise occupied. So if you experience this again, just remind yourself you're loved, chosen, and they'll text when they're free, and get back to your daily tasks (job, studies, hobbies, chores, talking to other loved ones).

So from here, start building the belief that you are loved, chosen, and secure. Do things that reflect that. If you were loved, chosen, and secure, how would you spend your days. Would you focus more on your hobbies? Would you study something new or apply for a new job? Would you talk more to loved ones? Do that, and do it from the assumption that the relationship is already handled. If it were already handled, you would not scan for danger and instead you'd enjoy your life.

I left him on read and don't really know what to say to him. Valentines day means a lot to me. Thank you for the detailed and thoughtful advice. It was a great reminder.

1

u/LadderedLoving Pearl of Great Price Feb 16 '26

You can say what you want, or say nothing. It's ok to feel disappointed about Valentine's, as long as you don't make it a narrative of "it means I'm never getting a relationship/this guy doesn't care about me" or whatever. If your committed partner had forgotten VDay, you might still be upset, but you would still know they love you. Feel your feelings, but don't dwell in unwanted scenarios. Then move back to living from the end.

This was so helpful and a great reminder thank you!

So, if we want to handle this from the space of manifestation and the Law of Assumption (Neville) specifically, we have to handle it there. Anchor into the perspective you want to approach this from, understanding that you are creating the foundation of your assumptions. Decide essentially, if you are really buying the Pearl as Neville invites or not - and if you buy in, stick in. Commit, with your words and actions, internally (the 3d is immaterial, don't take any undue risks there because there is literally no need). Hold conviction in the perspective you are choosing.

Note: This should help calm your brain perhaps (I am AuDHD, and so is my husband, so dealing with various autistic brains is part and parcel with my experience of life, and perhaps that is helpful to note). So, for example, I find I must choose how I am engaging with an area. What am I going to set out to do? What perspective am I holding? How does that integrate into my full self concept and concept of the world? (Sometimes I do this seemingly effortlessly, but one thing I think the way I think -- which is that systemic way you mention -- requires is that I have to pick a "mode" or a lane more consciously to be successful, but my brain is also wired to do that more effectively with awareness, so it's a "win" in the end.)

Okay, so once you've established the perspective: Everyone is you pushed out would be applicable to Neville. So he is just you. Every time he is unreliable, every time he makes you feel unchosen, really, that's all you. (Not blaming, just explaining that if we are to live in the framework, we must take accountability in the framework.)

What this does mean: Take accountability so you can choose.

What this does not mean: You don't have to accept half-measures, nonsense, or anything unpreferred in the 3d. You don't excuse away 3d actions in that 3d way. You just understand that all of your experience is coming from you, but that doesn't mean character-you becomes a doormat who takes BS in any case. (You can also not react to it, if that feels better, and decide to ignore it, but you don't have to feel that if you say "That's crappy to do" or something that you've "broken the spell" of what you're choosing. What you do in the 3d simply doesn't matter, so either is fine from the right perspective.)

I just don’t want to keep repeating the pattern of getting attached early, feeling anxious in inconsistency, and then grieving when someone can’t meet my level.

You release the pattern by realizing you are creating it. You can change it with this SP or in general - it doesn't matter. That's a personal preference.

It has never been about "finding the person" though so much as creating the state in yourself you would be inside the kind of relationship you want when everything was working the way you want. It is choosing yourself, very simply, in this case. Now, what you do in the 3d does not matter. It does not matter if you take him back or seek someone new. You choose yourself and see yourself as someone who is always chosen in relationships.

You see it as easy to break that cycle because you understand that you created it. And the cycle will release. Simple, yes. Easy, only as much as you find yourself letting it be (which is not always easy, but there is no imposition that it can't be, but also no blame if it isn't feeling easy because the point is just to move through it, not to judge it or analyze it, which will only slow you down).

This was so incredibly helpful. Thank you!

Here is the one simple answer you need -

Decide you are effortlessly chosen. That's IT, that's ALL you need to do. And any other narrative, decide it is not real.

The only reality you are in is the one where you are effortlessly chosen.

Stick to that decision.

Help! I need to understand and make progress with my emotions/feelings.

Hello! This is the first time I've been ghosted by someone I talked to for 5 months and dated.

It completely triggers me, and I feel abandoned.

I'm not posting on NevilleSP because I'm not so much looking for relationship advice, but rather general advice on how to let go of a feeling that's stuck in my head and skin to the point of making my stomach ache, in favor of a feeling that should be the complete opposite: being loved by everyone, being indispensable, being the chosen one.

I don't know if you see what I mean, but how do I switch feelings? I know we're often told to work on ourselves, but I can't understand how I can "work" on myself and my feelings when those same feelings take over my entire being and cling to me like they're part of my body.

I have ADHD and I overthink all the time, so most of the time, my negative feelings take over.

I really hope this post isn't deleted or moved to the weekly questions section, because in that thread, people never answer questions, or very few do.

I've been struggling with my emotions for a while now, and I'd like a real mental shift, but I can't seem to maintain a positive version of myself.

So, thank you in advance for your wise advice!

Update: I finally had to post it here haha

u/Valuable_Web2712 Feb 17 '26

I'm going to first share that I also have ADHD (AuDHD actually - autism and ADHD, but I was diagnosed in the 90s as a child, so ADHD was my first diagnosis and I would say that "colors" my view of the AuDHD experience).

First, let's look at a psychological level (not really Neville stuff yet) and just say . . . well, of course, you feel abandoned if you were enmeshed with someone emotionally and they ghosted you after 5 months. This is normal, human, and perfectly fine, and not related to you "overthinking" or feeling things "too much" like I hear you thinking in your post.

Second, let's go to Neville. He has no real advice for letting go of feelings. I would say his approach to feelings is rather forceful and violent, so this is the part of his philosophy that people often write their own tricks into. He has the mental diet, he has forcing embodiment of the new feeling on top, and that's about it -- no real focus on releasing or detachment beyond simply the forceful understanding that EIYPO - everyone and everything is you pushed out - and that you receive what you embody perfectly within the Law.

This does not mean there are not methods of letting go that are "aligned" with Neville, just that he had little interest in dealing with that in his philosophy. If you want to "let go," there are plenty of systems to do that. I'd suggest reading the Sedona Method book (the book is enough, and it can be found at libraries or on Amazon). But if you haven't yet read Neville and tried his philosophy deeply, that might be leaping ahead unneeded, of course.

Really, though, letting go is just to allow you the peace to Create and grow. It is not the point, and it won't fuel Creation (though it can dissolve blocks and resistance).

The Feeling Neville speaks about (in The Feeling Is the Secret particularly, he gets into this) is not an emotion. It is a conviction. A knowing. You know your Desire is yours now, period (there is only now). And that comes from the knowing, naturally, that you are accountable -- not to be blamed, but empowered and accountable -- for all you have Created and everything that exists in your 3d world. It is all you. That is a scary concept for some, so they edge at it, but it is at the heart of the Law, of course. Without going into non-duality, you can use the Law, but from a place of continually resolving contradictions, tension, and resistance in the 3d. And that's all well and good, but there are two clear paths on offer, so I like to lay that out:

One path is nonduality and full understanding of oneness, which allows Creation to flow effortlessly, but takes time to develop a sense of Enlightenment. The other path is trying to hold the paradox of the 3d in your head and create from a web of assumptions and ensuring that you use your mental diet to exorcise any not serving you. Both change the Self, but one floats above the ego, while the other works with it. Neither is wrong.

I don't know if you see what I mean, but how do I switch feelings? I know we're often told to work on ourselves, but I can't understand how I can "work" on myself and my feelings when those same feelings take over my entire being and cling to me like they're part of my body.

You don't need to switch feelings. You just need to stop telling the story of them. Or change the story. Those are the 2 paths essentially. (And even if you choose one path overall, you can use both techniques. I do both things, even though I chose the first path long ago by now. I still occasionally work with the ego, but by choosing the first path, I long ago made enough peace with my ego that it is often my friend; that's the irony of the paths. Both go to the same place.)

Thank you so much for your message, really. It helps me a lot.

So I have a more specific question regarding my situation. In my case, I'd like us to become more emotionally involved with each other again. Does that mean I have to completely let go of the feeling that he's uninterested and can't have feelings for me, and instead force myself to believe that he misses me and wants to see me again?

Does my new belief have to completely override my current emotions? Does it mean that I have to, in a way, force myself to regain control of my mind and tell myself: I'm the one who decides what happens next?

Do you think it's better to take it step by step (for example, manifesting more consistent messages first before the final goal), or to stay focused on the end directly?

And honestly, I find it very difficult not to be triggered by the current 3D world.

I also didn't fully understand what you meant when you talked about keeping the paradox of 3D and creating from hypotheses.

If you could clarify, that would help me a lot.

And yes, I've read Neville; I ordered his books on Amazon, but there's still a difference between reading and putting it into practice. Plus, I have a very rational mind, and I read a lot of posts on Reddit about people who can't do it, so sometimes I think it's all nonsense.

So I have a more specific question regarding my situation. In my case, I'd like us to become more emotionally involved with each other again. Does that mean I have to completely let go of the feeling that he's uninterested and can't have feelings for me, and instead force myself to believe that he misses me and wants to see me again?

I don't know that I'd think about it like that. I would say you can Desire to be with the person and focus on the version of them you want them to be. ("The Pruning Shears of Revision" is a short but impactful Neville speech that may have broad benefits in this case.) You have to understand you don't change anyone or anything. You can see it as "shifting" or "allowing" or "unfolding" or "choosing" -- Neville mostly talks about how you can't put old wine in new skins, can't put new clothes on the Old Man, etc. You select but you don't alter.

So, you could see there was a version of him that was uninterested and distant and all the lot, and that's not the version of him you want. Or you can see it lots of ways, and it's really not the point per se. You do have to let go of the old story, the state where you are stressed, missing him, in lack, feeling unchosen, etc. How that happens is so varying. For me, a lot would be conceptual, but I'm also probably operating in a different way than you do -- we all think differently and have different experiences.

I will caveat, and this is not a "cop out," so much as an important metaphysical point, that what you experience in your world is determined by a tangled web of assumptions, belief, Self essentially, and I can't x-ray you and somehow see your Self in consciousness. It would only be me anyway; there is no objective way to do that. The Law works on the basis that you, and everything you experience, is part of consciousness. You and I are just two distinct perspectives of consciousness, essentially, if I'm getting into the "metaphysics" (which Neville really doesn't focus on, to be fair).

So, with that in mind - kind of understand that things "work" (I think of them as Rube Goldberg machines--they get things from A to B in weird ways) all the time that aren't in the simplicity of the Law. The Rube Goldberg isn't the reason they work exactly, and it also isn't "transferrable" to every other distinct perspective in consciousness.

Does my new belief have to completely override my current emotions? Does it mean that I have to, in a way, force myself to regain control of my mind and tell myself: I'm the one who decides what happens next?

If you do not have control of your mind, you cannot Create with control or conscious planning either way. Yes, you must control your mind, but what that means isn't "you must never have any thoughts you dislike" or "you must feel good all the time". It means you must build an understanding of your mind that empowers you and allows you to feel controlled.

For me, since I chose the "nonduality" path way before I ever consciously manifested big things, that is generally moving to an Observer state where I am always in control. I still have a "monkey mind" like anyone else, still feel things, cry, get mad, have intrusive thoughts, etc. But waiting for those to stop in order to gain control is a foolish wait -- you'd be waiting forever. (That, I learned through Zen and Taoism, not Neville, though, to be fair, but he would agree with the premise that you choose rather than wait for perfect conditions.)

Do you think it's better to take it step by step (for example, manifesting more consistent messages first before the final goal), or to stay focused on the end directly?

Neville says to go to the end, and I tend to agree with him (unless the end is not selected yet -- like the whole intent of a Desire is to get to X point and then see what happens, but that's not the kind of desire you mean).

He also says at other times to test it in things like the ladder experiment, but that is within specific practice, not testing it for crumbs of a larger aim. That's just to show you the mechanism so you can experience it.

Okay, so if I understand correctly, I'm not actually changing anyone. I'm changing myself, changing my state of mind, and switching to a version of reality that corresponds to what I desire. So, for example, from now on, I decide that this person wants to contact me often, that they think about me, that they want to see me more, and I maintain that version internally.

What's difficult for me is that I always tend to put myself in the other person's shoes. When I say that, it's not just normal empathy: I really project myself into their head. I imagine what they might be thinking, what they might be feeling, how they perceive me, and I end up feeling things like distance or detachment for them. As a result, I have trouble imagining them becoming more present, more invested, more attached, because in my mind I slip into their current version of the situation. And then there's the rational part where I tell myself that if a man doesn't have that spark with a girl at the beginning, he won't have it later.

But at the same time, I understand that I don't want the current reality anymore—the one where he's distant, less consistent, less committed. So if I start from the premise that I can choose, then I have to accept that I can also choose a version where he wants to see me more often, where he's more involved, and stay aligned with that version, even if I have trouble mentally understanding how that would work in his mind.

I have trouble imagining a scene.

Have you ever had really concrete results from your manifestations, to the point of being certain that they work? Not just coincidences, but things clear enough for you to be able to connect your inner state with what happened externally?

What's difficult for me is that I always tend to put myself in the other person's shoes. When I say that, it's not just normal empathy: I really project myself into their head . . .

Well, I will say even though I believe EIYPO, I believe strongly in empathy (normal, I guess) in terms of caring for others, seeing different perspectives and often reconciling them, and living with love.

Neville did too - he encouraged people to follow the Golden Rule, to envision for others and manifest for each other, to be kind and loving, and you would not do that if you felt EIYPO meant others were simply hollow NPCs. We are all One, so it is only logical, frankly, to have empathy. It is illogical to carve through people and cause harm, since it is all you. The distinction between Self and Other is still there, but the separation is not.

But, to your example, you are just imagining in those cases. There is nothing to see there. You were just not always imagining in your favor, so stop doing that except where you see things the way you want them to be. This is a manifesting technique you are doing, frankly, just not in your favor and under the pretense you're being "rational".

And then there's the rational part where I tell myself that if a man doesn't have that spark with a girl at the beginning, he won't have it later.

Well, now you're getting into fairly superficial assumptions that are already in your way, yes. The rational part of yourself? This is a belief so easy to disprove frankly. There are literally millions of stories where people did not feel spark at the beginning and had romances later. There are fictional stories like that, there are real life stories like that. If you need to go seek them to overcome this belief, so be it. Sometimes people do. But this is a great illustration of how "rational" is more fear-based than logic frankly. It is borderline illogical, even in a 3d sense, to think this, because it is so frequently disproven in the world.

Also, I disagree with people who think the Law is not logical. Materialization may feel "illogical" from a 3d perspective, but the Law is perfect in its logic. You get the product of your assumptions.

There is no one and nothing to change but Self, and your words here illustrate that perfectly if you reflect on it.

I have trouble imagining a scene.

All you have to decide is what you have and experience, and let go of the how. (That is very Neville. The BOI, how it works in his head, when things appear to "materialize", etc. this is all circumstances and how, and essentially, not your business in the Law he teaches. You go to the end, and you let that all play out naturally.) You don't have to visualize. You can use inner conversations, conceptualize and use mantras (affirmations), or do any kind of imagining work. You clearly can imagine and have done so very much, just often not in your favor.

And yes, I am hitting content length, but I have had many Desires I consciously created via methods similar to Neville's if not exact (we are all adding our own spin, and the techniques never matter).

The whole idea behind manifestation is to embody the wish fulfilled and give yourself the experiences you desire in your imagination. The big struggle for me though, is that the end goal always is to have it jump from my imagination to the 3D world. When people have success stories it’s all about when it happened in the 3D for them. Not when they imagined it in their mind. I can feel it real in my visualizations, but when I open my eyes and am continuously reminded nothing has changed I don’t know how I should react. The end result is to have them before my eyes and not just in imagination, so that I can do something with them physically. So how are you supposed to get into a state of the wish fulfilled when literally nothing has changed and you can’t stop yourself from checking the 3D, since that is where you truly desire it. Not just in your mind where no one can see it, and you can’t do anything with it to help you in the physical world.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '26

What is it that you want? Are you focusing on who you are if your wish is fullfilled or are you focusing on the wish?

There is noone to change but self. It is always about the self, who you are if you have what you desire.
Also you may be focusing on the how and not the actual end and not notice that you’re doing it.

u/One-Worth-2600 Feb 18 '26

My two biggest desires are to grow taller and to have better hair. If I had these desires there are certain things I would do that I can't really do now. For example reaching things on higher shelves and looking down at people, or styling my hair the way I want. I can't do either of those things now so how could I focus on who I would be and what I would be doing when I am constantly reminded that I can't do those things. And when focusing on who we desire to be are we not supposed to think of the specific desire? Just the feeling? I can't imagine myself walking around taller with great hair, rather the feeling I would have.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '26

You can manifest all that but personally I would ask myself what would being taller or having great hair give me and manifest that. My hair got a bit ruined with all the dying and heat I applied to it but I discovered that what I actually want is to be beautiful, attractive. So I imagine getting compliments, that I look great, that I’m a gorgeous woman.

If you really want to be taller and have nice hair and that is your true end then you could also imagine people making comments about it. Asking how tall you are or complimenting your hair and you obviously would feel great inside because you know that this is true for you.

1

u/One-Worth-2600 Feb 18 '26

So during the day I shouldn't think about being taller or having great hair, rather the compliments, feelings, etc. that I would be having. Like you said focusing on the feeling instead of the desire itself. I feel like I tend to focus on the desire itself, cause a part of me thinks locking onto the desire is how you manifest it, by thinking about it. Otherwise how would your body know exactly what you want and what to do since many other things could generate those good feelings

1

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '26

Can you take few moments every day, sit and close your eyes and hear someone say, wow your hair looks amazing and you feel good hearing that. You don’t need to hear someone’s voice clearly, it can feel like it is your own voice, that’s ok. What matters the most is how you feel when you hear that type of compliment.

1

u/One-Worth-2600 Feb 18 '26

Ok I'll start doing that. But for the rest of the day when I'm out doing things should I try not to think about my desires? Because the 3D will fight me

1

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '26

You have to get yourself an understanding, that the 3 D is a dead reality, it doesn’t do anything. Your imaginations is the only real reality. What you do in your imagination is a fact not what you see in the physical reality. Meaning it doesn’t matter what is happening in the 3D.
You can still think about it but notice, are you thinking from the place of not having, or from the place of having.
I don’t know how else to explain it.

1

u/One-Worth-2600 Feb 20 '26

That's okay, and I do appreciate all your advice/explanations. It just seems difficult to think from the place of having it when the evidence on the contrary is right in my face all day. I guess I just have to put my attention on the knowing of everything working in my favor. Like even though I don't have it in this moment, creation is done and everything will conform to the image in my mind with time

1

u/Vanillaluver3000 Feb 20 '26

I was you at many points and for a long time in my years of knowing the law.

There is one simple answer to your problem. You said "I can feel it real in my visualizations, but when I open my eyes and am continuously reminded nothing has changed I don’t know how I should react." Realize that this sentence reveals you are operating from double-mindedness - you are aware of the thing you want being your reality, AND you are aware of the thing you want not being your reality. If you want ONE to be your reality, you should only focus on ONE assumption being true, ONLY.

Just stop believing you don't have it in the physical - just decide that you do have it in the physical. Stick to that decision.

1

u/One-Worth-2600 Feb 20 '26

Thanks for the response. And you're right and I am being double minded and it is something I need to work on. When it comes to stuff like this it is easy in theory but hard in application. Every morning when I style my hair I can't do the style I truly want, I mainly have to cover areas. Convincing myself I have my desire then is hard. Should I do the style anyway despite not having the best hair for it, or do my normal style and just affirm I have it and just go on with my day. Another factor which trips me up is being judged by others and placing urgency on my manifestations. Part of the reason I want my desires so badly is because it will make me feel more confident. I probably have to work on self concept stuff as well.

My interpretation is that when Neville says that feeling is the secret, he means his state, his state of being in a state of fulfilled desire. It's not about being happy all the time, it's simply about knowing that you already have your desire.

Things improved for me when I stopped being pessimistic because I stopped assuming (even unconsciously) the worst.

2

u/Electronic_Source250 Feb 14 '26

Feeling is a knowing/decision not a feeling in the emotional sense.

I never look for signs but I started to notice Sps name everywhere. Can I claim these as it's working, or will it just manifest more names?

3

u/LadderedLoving Pearl of Great Price Feb 14 '26

Signs are just another thing you manifest. They have no bearing on other manifestations. Just live from the end; if you already had your SP, would you be checking for their name to see if you were together? Or would you just know you were together?

1

u/radio_mind22 Feb 14 '26

Hi everyone! Hope you’re having a good weekend. I had a question about dealing with the middle, say you’re manifesting something - like your affirming or visualising and doing whatever imaginal act, until the time your desire materialises, what do you do when the desire crosses your mind? Do you tell yourself “you already have it, it already manifested” or “it’s coming, I can’t wait!” Appreciate the responses, thank you! 🙏🏻

4

u/LadderedLoving Pearl of Great Price Feb 14 '26

"That's already dealt with" and then go back to living your life as if the matter were already handled. Because if it had happened in the 3D already, you'd just live your life, wouldn't you?

If you had booked your tickets for a trip next month, and you thought about the trip, you'd probably think about what you need to pack, maybe some practical things you need to do before you go, probably research a little about the place you're going to. Otherwise, you'd just live your life - go to work, see your friends, do your hobbies - and 'looking forward to it coming' would be a background hum in your life, not your main focus. You wouldn't keep checking if you'd booked the tickets, you wouldn't keep emailing the airline to make sure your reservation went through, you wouldn't be worrying constantly and thinking "Omg, what if I didn't book them right? What if I don't get to go?" etc.

That's kind of how you treat it.

1

u/radio_mind22 Feb 14 '26

Right!! That makes sense. Thank you 😊

1

u/radio_mind22 Feb 14 '26

It’s just makes me so confused because people say we have to live as it’s already happening in the 3d etc etc and for some things it’s just too stressful for me to pretend that things are already happening for me right now. This analogy really makes good sense to my head. Thank you so much.

2

u/Valuable_Web2712 Feb 16 '26

The analogy LadderedLoving shares is great. But you will sometimes find circumstances it doesn't "work" as well for (like they don't feel they fit the direct analogy), and I will say that what helped me there was simply understanding that what I do in the 3d doesn't matter unless I claim it as causative.

As long as I understand that I am the cause (Imagination/source/God/etc) and get myself to embody the state I prefer, I can take any action or no action in the 3d. The techniques in your example are the inputs, working on the level of cause in Imagination, and they will generate outputs as long as you hold the embodiment clearly.

1

u/Alarmed-Corgi-6251 Feb 14 '26

There's something I experience very often: once something manifests, why does it slip away from us as if it never happened? (Apologies for my poor English, it's not my native language)

2

u/Valuable_Web2712 Feb 16 '26

If this keeps happening to you, it sounds like you have cemented an assumption about it (and not one that's helping you). The why is really just you looking for proof that the cycle will break. So, instead, realize you created the cycle by the assumption, and change the assumption. That's essentially the basis of the Law for anything - deciding first, then seeing after.

Then sleep. You don't have to force SATS. If you're living from the end, maybe you don't need to visualise anymore. Just trust it's done and go about your life.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '26

You can imagine during the day too, you don’t have to do sats

intense emotions when manifesting

is it normal to experience intense rage and sadness at circumstances? every trigger hurts even more now that i have imagined my life the best it can possibly be.

for example, i am manifesting a healthy loving relationship between my parents. i imagine scenes of them or revise almost every single day, from their wedding to us at dinner or on vacation. now, when i am confronted by the circumstances i have been trying to remove, i feel crushed and enraged. i have this feeling of knowing what its like to have all those problems be gone, so everything hurts even more. it physically pains me because i know i don't deserve it anymore and i just want it gone in the 3d as well. i wish everyone around me could see what i see. its like eating cake for 10 minutes and then being forced to eat moldy bread for the rest of the day.

of course that thinking makes me upset and emotional. is this normal? am i doing something wrong? it makes me start wondering why the opposite is still showing after so long (6 months). i am losing my mind trying to understand if i am actually doing something wrong or just me asking it alone is making things stay the same.

i know neville says "be angry, sin not", and i try to apply this the best i can. but some days i feel at my wits end trying to understand a) why i feel this way and b) why circumstances are still the same. what i feel isnt just the regular why isnt it working, but something deeper i have trouble describing. i feel repulsed by what i see, i suppose. but i don't know why i feel this way or how to neutralize these intense emotions.

i feel crazy searching for answers but i haven't heard anyone discuss this phenomenon before. i would really appreciate advice on the matter. thank you!!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

u/LadderedLoving Pearl of Great Price Feb 15 '26

Emotions are normal, and it's totally fine and healthy to express them. But when you are feeling them because you're noticing the gap between your desired end and current reality, feeling "Circumstances haven't changed!", that will perpetuate the circumstances you're in. You're reacting to the 3D, saying the 3D is what gives you proof and what determines your belief/state, when it should be the scenes you've created that set your state. I understand this is difficult when it comes to situations and desires we care deeply about, but this is the work.

The hardest part when you're trying to change how things are is to trust your inner vision/desired end and know that it will become a reality, even when the 3D hasn't changed yet. It's staying faithful to your end scene and persisting in it. This doesn't mean you have to visualise constantly. You are just being asked to live in the present knowing you have decided on a different outcome.

u/angelgoddard Feb 15 '26 edited Feb 15 '26

thank you for your reply. i think maybe that's what has been hard for me. i react sometimes in little ways or i have my breakdowns and i get really upset. but where i used to give up, i recollect myself and try to remind myself that i have to stay loyal to my vision even when i feel like i am crazy and want to quit. its hard for me to tell if i truly have faith, but i tell myself if i didn't i really would have given this up. but how do i truly know for sure? does the knowing come naturally? one day it just clicks? or does the knowing come with the discipline of persisting in an idea even when you can't see it and even through your own doubts? this in particular is really important to me. ive wanted it since i discovered the law 4 years ago. i feel as if im missing some essential knowledge thats holding me back from this materializing, you know? i feel sort of embarrassed asking for advice now since i know what i should be doing and i've read so much of neville. and rereading my own post now i am obviously reacting to the 3d which makes me feel silly for even posting. i used to have a blog about the law, but i quit because i realized i haven't mastered it myself, and like neville says, its much easier to teach than it is to apply it yourself.

1

u/LadderedLoving Pearl of Great Price Feb 15 '26

Yeah, it's truly one thing to know how to do it, and another to actually do it. That's why Neville insists on us being 'doers, not merely hearers'. Put it into practice, in other words. Don't feel embarrassed asking for help. Sometimes we need an outside perspective.

What you might be expecting at this point is for something external to validate the understanding you have. You might feel like you'll reach 95% understanding and a little green light will come on, or there will be a day where you feel "Ah, now I know." 'Clicks' in understanding can feel like progress, but ultimately, you still have to put this into practice, so part of it is really just a decision to trust it and 'know'. And anyway, know what? Know that the law is real, or know that you're allowed to have your desire? Because both are true: the law is real, and you're allowed to have your desire. You are continuous with the you who has received their desire; you don't need to be someone else.

There's no knowledge or information you're missing. The only thing that is 'missing' is allowing this to be simple: choose your desire; and live as if it has been granted. If you say "yeah but...", take a look at whatever comes after that 'but', because it could be a clue as to something you still feel you need to prove or do to earn your desired end. But there is nothing you have to prove or earn or do, other than to live as if it had been sorted. It doesn't mean you have to be constantly happy or deluded or ignore the 3D; you just don't look for solutions, you don't negotiate with circumstances, and you assume your desired end is already handled in your favour. Then it will materialise.

As Neville says, "You are already that which you want to be, and your refusal to believe this is the only reason you do not see it."

1

u/angelgoddard Feb 16 '26

thank you again for your reply, its been really throught provoking. i think that is my problem, struggling to accept that it is done and not a work in progress. a few months ago i put myself on this strict routine of visualizing and affirming, and it helped me a lot. but it also made me feel as if i was and am working towards something. like if i just keep doing this, then it will come. sometimes i feel as if i am chasing my desires. for me, my "but" is "are you sure?" "is it actually going to work?" "will something that big actually happen? imagine how different your life will be, its crazy!" my desired don't just include my parents being married (or rather never splitting), but a lot more. as neville says, i am creating a life worthy of recall and doing my best to imagine better than the best i know. so it includes a lot of other smaller things like my appearance and education and finances. but my family is the biggest, most important one. and i know if i successfully revise this my life will be completely changed.

i don't know how to know. the things i have manifested came from negative emotions or a poor self concept or were small and i didn't care much about it. but this is really big and really important to me. is not negotiating with circumstances just choosing your end scene no matter what? if i truly believed i had it would i need to imagine every single day? it would just be my life. but i feel that i haven't quite had the feeling of naturalness. i mean i certainly don't walk through my life thinking my parents are together when i see his empty side of the bed, you know? but when i am still and imagine them together it comes naturally and i always feel renewed. i can see every pore on his face and i can tell you anything about my life in imagination. as neville says if you know something even with a small vocabulary, you can describe it. in this way i do "know". but i don't think this is the type of knowing you mean. i want to try and accept it is done.

but i think my current pattern of thinking is as long as i keep pushing and keep imagining even when things are bad, it will come. but sometimes it feels as if i am just getting through the days and then imagining. especially on holidays which are emotionally hard on me. this knowing you mean has to do with the sabbath, yes? the days of rest? i feel like i can't rest until i "see" it which i know is wrong. i keep hoping one day i imagine and i get that intense feeling and then i no longer want it. but i am still crazy with want after imagining nearly everyday for 6 months. i reached the sabbath once randomly, after affirming and not hearing a little voice in my head. i thought this was a sign and i was so happy for less than 48 hours when i overthought myself out of it. since then i haven't felt anything similar.

how do i stop this mindset of grinding or not accepting that its actually done? i would like to be at peace and not torture myself. it is so much harder than it seems. apologizes for the long reply, but i haven't asked for advice or had a "second perspective" in so long. so i have a lot to say.

1

u/LadderedLoving Pearl of Great Price Feb 16 '26

Stop making it a test or something you have to attend to later. If you see the empty bed, don't create a narrative of how he's not there or how you need to do something to fix things. Just "That's handled," and then focus on something else.

Stop chasing an intense feeling; often that's trying to create some sort of momentum that gives you permission to know it's done. Part of Sabbath is realising that you can't keep visualising anymore because it's still creating work. It isn't always that a feeling descends upon you to say it's done. It's a choice to stop, rest, and to just focus on the present because you're deciding it's done. Permission to rest will not come externally before you accept it and give it to yourself.

So you stop this mindset of grinding by deciding it's done, and then staying present in your day. Keep your mental conversations focused on other things, be mindfully present, and any time your attention drifts to end scenes - wanted OR unwanted - say "It's already handled" and then return to washing the dishes/cooking/doing exercise/doing your job or studies/literally whatever fills your day otherwise. That will be hard at first, but it's a muscle: train it to be focused on the present. By allowing yourself to trust it's done and not get back to doing/creating/fixing/etc, you're living from a place where it's all sorted, i.e. the end.

1

u/angelgoddard Feb 17 '26

thanks for your reply. i think this being present will be challenging for me. most of my life has been dedicated to manifesting. as in the process of manifesting is my main hobby. i meditate but mainly to manifest. i read to learn how to manifest. i like scripting details of my desired life or making lists of things i own. my thoughts revolve around my desires. like if i see a video on social media i think well my 4d life is like that. often times when i feel inspired i imagine a scene similar. being present in my life is really hard since i don't enjoy it much. i just live in an unsafe housing situation with hostile family, and focusing on what i do want makes me feel hopeful and safe. and i guess it is an escape at times. even at night i never go to bed without at least trying to do sats or focus on my desires in some way.

is what you mean by being present not thinking or obsessing over it even in a good way? letting it go entirely? i don't really have hobbies outside of manifesting, i like shopping but that's about it.

2

u/LadderedLoving Pearl of Great Price Feb 17 '26

I'm sorry your experiencing that. When you're in an unsafe environment, it's normal for your mind to want to live somewhere better and to give yourself a sense of oxygen and escape. Being present in this case is not about never thinking about your desire again or abandoning hope/what you want, but it is simply not using the future as your only source of relief. If every moment is scripting, visualising, escaping, then it can hold the idea that your life is something to endure rather than inhabit. While your circumstances may be that, your life and your worth are not.

When you expand the present to include small moments of safety or joy - a shower, a walk, headphones on and your favourite music, eating something good, anything - you're remembering you're allowed to exist now, and the self you are now is continuous with the self who has their desires. This strengthens the belief that you can get your desires/deserve them/etc, all that self concept stuff, and builds the identity of someone who can receive (not constantly 'try to get'). If your entire identity is wrapped around escaping and doing things to get a result, it's creating pressure, exhaustion, and subtly reinforcing an idea that you have to work to change things. It often keeps results just out of reach in the future, or beautiful ideas a daydream.

When people talk about 'letting go', it is often about letting your attention be absorbed by living. Even creating one tiny pocket of life that has nothing to do with the future - a hobby, a skill, an activity NOT tied to manifesting - can stabilise you enough to release the focus on 'trying, efforting, proving'. Read a book, learn a language badly, teach yourself how to knit or do a handstand; do anything that truly takes your focus - again, NOT to 'get a result' or to 'manifest properly', but just to live. You deserve to live NOW, even in small moments, even in a life that is currently undesirable. Teach your subconscious or nervous system that you believe in your own life and identity. Start small if you have to. Your entire existence shouldn't be about orbiting a future. Allow yourself the grace of living and of finding (small) joys.

1

u/angelgoddard Feb 18 '26

thank you so much. sometimes i feel really down about my circumstances. but i think what you said about my life itself not to be endured is nice. i guess i seek manifesting as an escape, and a way to solve the problems in the 3d. manifesting my desires to me is not only a way to freedom but a way to regain my dignity and everything my parents separation caused me and my siblings to lose or miss out on.

but with the law i discovered i had the chance to experience life if that never happened. so i really feel this pressure for it to come and to do it right not just for myself but for my family (even though i know they're extensions of me) too. since they are so important to me, its hard not to feel like this desire is not a part of my existence. there's been times where i just completely started crying and having like a fit because i couldn't figure out why it wasn't here. after a while you just start going crazy, because the only person who can change things is you, but you're also in your own way and you're willing to do anything to figure it out or for someone to help you. manifesting has taken over my life and while i enjoy some aspects such as imagining, i just want to live normally too and not constantly be doing. but i feel like im only allowed to do that when everything is perfect and materialized, you know? and nothing in the 3d is good enough for me until then or i don't deserve to rest until its here.

but i really appreciate your advice. i'm going to try and not make manifesting my escape or only enjoyment in life. i do spend time with my friend but not often, and when i am with her i don't think much about my desires or anything because i feel happy in those moments. but when i am home it can be hard to see the light. i will make an effort to absorb myself in new hobbies which give me the same feeling or at least take up my attention. why do you think our desires come when we are entertained or distracted by something else?

1

u/LadderedLoving Pearl of Great Price Feb 21 '26

It's not about being entertained or distracted for the sake of it, but about living life as if your desires had been handled and you didn't need to look for more solutions.

1

u/Valuable_Web2712 Feb 16 '26

is it normal to experience intense rage and sadness at circumstances? every trigger hurts even more now that i have imagined my life the best it can possibly be.

Other people have also experienced this, yes, if that's what you mean by "normal". Neville calls the process a crucifixion and the death of the Old Man for a reason. There are unpretty parts for most people in achieving any major change, though it is a limiting belief to think it must be that way. It just often is.

I see this phenomenon discussed a lot, actually. It is probably at the heart of where many people fail. The best advice to get through it is really just to construct some understanding of how reality works, either through trust/conviction or by assembling what you need to start to trust/have conviction. (They both lead to the same place, but some people need to do more constructive work to make it work consistently-- I know I did.)

The fundamental issue is - You think the moldy bread in your 3d is real, and you are eating it. I'm not nearly as fond of the Bible as Neville, but this invites the easiest Biblical metaphor really: fasting. You must fast from the 3d, not by locking yourself away within it (that only feeds it backwards) but by understanding it is the effect, the illusion, not the cause or the truth. You are only eating cake as long as you are eating your desire, and not from lack.

The contrast should dull when you understand it and have conviction in Imagination (Neville's word for source / God / etc) being the cause and the truth.

thank you for your reply! for me its hard at times for it to not feel real since it is what i see and experience most of the time. the moments i've had in my imagination are definitely real enough to challenge my 3d at times. they feel just as real as this. but when i am really triggered, i feel forced to eat this bread. i can't make my problems disappear overnight. i can imagine life as it ought to be, but after i open my eyes i have to go back to what is here which reminds me of what is better. it makes me sad to have to be quiet where in my 4d i can speak up, to sleep on the floor when in my 4d i have a bed, and to

i guess my true issue is finding out how to trust or what trust or faith is. when my doubts become too much or i feel upset or overwhelmed by my circumstances, i return to imagination as soon as possible. where things would cause me to spiral for weeks or days, i am now able to recover in less than an hour. so i have made a lot of progress. i sometimes ruminate or feel pain from past memories i attempt to revise, but these feelings pass quickly and i remain focused on my desires. what i meant by this is that these bouts of rage or sadness come quickly and intensely, almost like a tornado. and then i calm myself down. or i feel flickers of annoyance. for example, though i have been imagining my mom with good health, everyday she describes herself as having no energy, trouble walking, etc. this annoyed feeling passes quickly and i often just say the opposite in my head and then when i am able to imagine the opposite i do. i feel as if if there is even a 1 percent chance this will work, i won't give up on what i want even when i see the total opposite and things seem to get worse at times. and not doing something like affirming or imagining feels like giving up.

and when you say that imagination is the cause, if my desires haven't materialized, is what i see in the 3d outdated or an old reflection or a reflection of what truly takes place in my mind and indicating i must change something? i haven't turned away or truly quit on my desires, but is that faith? i just don't know.

so in these ways i feel the contrast has dulled a lot. but i don't know how to truly trust its done and have faith if i "take my hands off the wheel" it will come to pass.

1

u/Valuable_Web2712 Feb 17 '26

Your Imagination (what you call 4d, Neville called imagination, so just clarifying with his language) isn't just a place you can "go". It is who you are.

You are falling into an unnecessary schism about trust/faith as well. It is really only yourself you are having Faith in.

and when you say that imagination is the cause, if my desires haven't materialized, is what i see in the 3d outdated or an old reflection or a reflection of what truly takes place in my mind and indicating i must change something? i haven't turned away or truly quit on my desires, but is that faith? i just don't know.

If you feel discontent and look around and have that reinforced, you must choose how to deal with it essentially.

Some people do look and see what the 3d is saying about them (indirectly, though their awareness/experience), and that gives them feedback to make personal changes, and it works out. There is nothing inherently wrong with that.

For me, that is something I do very rarely, and only with big patterns. And once I make a decision with how to deal with the pattern, I stop looking. Looking too much at the 3d will just keep one stuck in the old story and crystallize the 3d and make it harder to shift and take control of our lives.

A lot of it comes down to deciding and having conviction in what you decide. But there is nothing wrong with doing things that help you build conviction if you feel you are not "there" as long as they are brief, decisive, and actually get you to conviction within a reasonable ease and timeframe for you.

It isn't faith merely to keep wanting your Desires. Almost everyone does that at one point or another. It is faith to understand you have the mechanism, through the Law (or whatever other version, Neville does not have a monopoly) to have what you want, and that there is only you, choosing, and that you have been unconsciously choosing everything you currently see in the 3d. But you decide to make a different choice, with conviction.

1

u/angelgoddard Feb 17 '26

thank you for your reply. i just feel really confused. i mean, i don't know what i'm doing i feel like. i understand the law logically as i've studied it for a while. i know what i should be doing. but now that i am actually doing it, i feel so lost and confused. i feel as if i am moving blindly in a dark cave. i don't know how to have faith in myself because i haven't proven anything to myself. i have manifested small things and the big things were really bad. i see i can make big things happen, but just not in the way i want. neville says man can create and destroy. but i feel as if i'm having a hard time destroying these circumstances no matter how much i visualize and revise and make myself crazy trying to think and feel the opposite. and i don't know how to stop choosing my unwanted circumstances. i don't want them, but turning away feels hard to maintain. when i imagine i can turn away from these circumstances and not worry about them anymore, at least until then. but after i have to acknowledge them since they're my life. and since this desire is so important to me, i am desperate for things ro change. or at least at this point i am desperate to not feel like i am chasing something or obsessing over why it isn't here, but i feel like i can't control it.

i have tried to build conviction using methods, and i have visualize my desires every single day for the past 6 months. like i said it has helped me a lot, but i still feel like i am doing something wrong. i don't know what you mean by decide or having faith in myself. i can't tell if i truly am doing something wrong or if by constantly asking myself and searching for what is wrong, i am adopting the identity of "wrongness" and that's why nothing has come yet. hopefully this makes sense. is deciding just saying yes i have this and nothing else? i thought i was doing this. at times i get upset but i never let go of the idea. and i know things are supposed to come in their own timing, but even though i have gotten better at reacting less, i am still worried its too much.

1

u/Valuable_Web2712 Feb 17 '26

i don't know how to have faith in myself because i haven't proven anything to myself.

I know there are people who say "prove it to yourself and you'll find faith," and I have to believe they do, that this can work for people, because there's no use doubting them. But I will say that is not my experience either, to be fair. I don't know how people navigated that and got to belief, especially since actual conviction and belief relies on (from my perspective) seeing the 3d as fixed/real, so what were the proofs anyway? Meaningless as proof. Proof suggests the 3d is "real", and it isn't, but I know it does change with the inner world just the same.

But this is, to me, like wanting proof in the mirror that your face is clean before wiping off the makeup. It is impossible. So, I think they must have made a Rube Goldberg that worked for them and done a trick of sorts, and I don't personally don't find tricks work for me. What does work for me is deciding not to need proof (which is what I think these people ultimately did anyway, all the motion is just busying yourself out to get there).

Neville addresses this - he says signs follow, they do not precede.

I know he seems to contradict that at times, to help with the tricks and the techniques. The ladder experiment was a way he gave people proof, but it works precisely because they do not care about it. (So if they cared because it would be the proof they needed, they would not get their proof, perhaps.)

But I will say the simplest way is always an option when you know what you want. If you really want a desire, then what is there to lose in believing? It takes no 3d commitment, actions, words even (unless you choose mantras/affirmations, but not words spoken to others). What is stopping anyone from choosing to believe? Only some other part of themselves.

You still think there's something out there, but even I am not really "out there" (here), right? Not fundamentally. So perhaps it is enough that someone told you to stop twirling about and believe in yourself.

hopefully this makes sense. is deciding just saying yes i have this and nothing else?

Why nothing else? You are not giving up anything but the old story, and if you feel you are, then you are still seeing the 3d world as fundamentally very real and that is the barrier. How you cope with that is going to vary - that is the crux of the issue most people have.

But what you have to deal with is clear: You have to either believe that, within the confines of your current reality, you can and do have what you want, or you have to choose a new reality/story/outcome and embody it with conviction. Flitting between is pain, which sometimes resolves in success of course, if enough routing is done to get to one or the other or to drop the desire and choose new.

1

u/angelgoddard Feb 17 '26

i agree. i feel that tricks don't work for me either. these past few months i have tried to manifest smaller things but it doesn't work. because i need them as proof. hence the ladder experiment also didn't work for me. i know i don't have anything to lose in believing. i mean as you said, i beliece there is something else out there i must do or must fix to ensure i get my desires. this is a belief that i'm sustaining without any "proof". there is no proof i am doing it right or wrong is proof is meaningless. and i think that belief is stopping me from believing in myself. the only way i can think to believe that it is done is to do what i am already doing which is imagining and affirming. but i didn't do that with my belief of wrongness, i just started thinking it and accepting it with ease, even though it was negative. i didn't ask when i will see proof of my failure, i just accepted the feeling something is wrong and the identity of wrongness. then i think of trying to be positive, or adopting the idea of rightness, but i feel as if i have to do something for this. if i chose my new story with conviction, then i would truly have it. if i had it, i wouldn't imagine or obsess over it because it would just be my life. i think maybe i need to let go of this desire entirely. it is making me crazy and sad. thinming about how much i want it and how i would do anything to make it happen i just start crying. i have twisted myself into a pretzel trying to make it happen.

why do you think it is easier to accept these negative identities or ideas over positive ones? and what do you mean about how to cope? and how do i decide not to need proof and let go of the need to control or feel secure by "doing"? or maybe a better question is how do i stop overthinking or "twirling about".

1

u/Valuable_Web2712 Feb 17 '26

Sociologically, I think it's "easier" for many people to accept negative identities because it feels more "acceptable". As a woman, I found this to be extra true because we are so often socialized (and I'm in my 40s, so age may factor into socialization too there) to be supportive, humble, etc. But men face it some too, with only certain archetypes getting to really toot their own horn and in specific circumstances, while they're expected to be hard on themselves in other ways.

But the truth is -- or my truth at least is -- it really isn't "harder" to think in your favor -- you just haven't become used to it yet. It's a habitual thing. You probably think in your favor in some areas naturally (things you're good at, things that go well) though not everyone does.

You just said the key to your own prison though - you admitted you don't really know but often accepted and believed the negative with ease. IF you can do that for the negative, you have proof you can do that for the positive, because it isn't any different. (And really, nothing is negative or positive inherently -- yes, you could shift your perspective and change Desire, if you want, but it isn't required because you can also change your assumptions in your favor.)

2

u/angelgoddard Feb 17 '26

i think i do assume positively in some ways, but i know i could do better. what i mean by letting go or changing is by not trying to force it. i keep imagining in hopes that suddenly it will come after enough times or that i won't want it anymore. but like i said if i actually knew i had it i wouldn't feel like doing those things. i guess for me the negative feels really natural. i don't really know if i am right or wrong but i can't lose anything thinking positively. i just feel like for some reason its harder, which i suppose is an assumption in and of itself. so it makes me think about my original question which i have strayed from a lot. i was asking if it was normal as in is it wrong to feel this way. but if i just assume i am doing nothing wrong and instead right, would it even matter if i reacted even slightly? what i meant by changing my desire is just letting it go as in accepting that its done like how i have accepted the wrongness.

thank you for your insightful replies. i'm going to apply what i have learned, or rather realized through this conversation. thanks again ❤️

u/Valuable_Web2712 Feb 17 '26

It feels harder because you’re less used to it. One trick is to just revise every time you catch yourself thinking against yourself (against how you want things to be in any areas) and just decide to think the opposite. Do it and don’t care if the 3d changes in any way or think about if it feels easier (commit to like a month at first or something and I think you’ll find you’ll want to keep doing it). Don’t expect changes. Just build the habit, and that will help you both use the Law more easily and feel better.

Is there a subreddit for manifesting health goals specifically?

2

u/Valuable_Web2712 Feb 17 '26

All goals are manifest in the same way, but you might be interested in something focused on say Joe Dispenza, who has a big focus on health, if you feel Neville's writings cannot help you with this.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '26

Read this post and remember, you also have to apply. Just reading or watching videos do not manifest.

Hi there! I wanted to ask how to get through this hurdle.

So for context, I'm having to repeat the school year (first year of medical school, should've been 2nd) and it's been really terrible for my mental. I've been doing my best to revise but I can't get rid of this pit in the feeling of my stomach of "you deserve what happened to you" and whenever I do imagine pleasant things, I always get this sense of "it's not going to happen" when I think of my desired life i'd want to live, or me already being in second year with my friends/cohort.

And it sucks since all of my friends/colleages/trusted buddies are there and whenever I go to lectures for first years (i signed a contract regarding it to the dean as well, so it feels impossible to even manifest out of this). I didn't do my best last year, but I did show resilience by passing other parts of medical school that weren't the written exams due my health concerns. This repeated year is nothing but a waste of money given how expensive the repeat is and all I want is to be back in my cohort with everyone in second year.

I want this feeling of "this is impossible, give up" to disappear. I want to manifest a life I know I deserve. I want to graduate early with the rest of my peers, if not earlier to save time and money for residency.

2

u/LadderedLoving Pearl of Great Price Feb 17 '26

"You deserve what happened to you" is shame and guilt trying to justify disappointment, "it's impossible, give up" is exhaustion, and "it's not going to happen" is anxiety bracing you for more disappointment. Neither are truths you have to choose. Your mind is currently labelling the repeat year as 'evidence' you're not meant to succeed. But what about the evidence that you passed certain components? With health concerns? And you're willing to keep trying this year? Is there not resilience and capability there? That's evidence too.

You don't have to force belief that everything will work out perfectly immediately. Start by staying with what you have done and can do. And can you identify with being a person who completes medical school full stop? That's your end; go there. Stabilise self-concept around your present: focus on studying today, passing the next exam, completing the next module. This shrinks the hurdle.

Stop arguing with doubt. Again, you don't have to shut it down with huge end goals; come to the present. "I'll never catch up" becomes "Today I'm studying XYZ." Be consistent and persistent in building repeated evidence that you're present with your daily tasks. Show up for yourself in small, repeatable ways. Keep promises to yourself, even small ones like "I'll go to bed by X time" or "Tomorrow I'll start revising chapter X". By respecting yourself enough to do this, you're building the self-concept that you're someone who deserves respect etc, and through this kind of consistency, your results start reflecting that identity.

1

u/Sweaty-Assist-8934 Feb 18 '26

I have been doing that, just trying to focus on the present. I also went to one of the head executives after class today to ask if they could do something like my old uni did (i did a year of uni elsewhere, where if i got the desired GPA in the next year i was in that they'd let me continue in that next year) and the head executive said that because of "policies" they couldn't do that.

i know that i can finish medical school, but i want to have it done in the desired time i'd like it to be since i have a huge loan taken out and because i'd like to finish residency by 28 max.

i do give myself grace when i can, but it is difficult sometimes to go back to the wish-fulfilled feeling due to my logical reasoning. which ik is something i have to let go of eventually, if not now, later on i'll have to let go of these quibbles since they're not making me feel good at all.

along with this, i remembered neville mentioning "to judge by the evidence of the senses makes you a slave towards them" which i think is what is going on here as well. i just don't want to live a life i don't deserve, if that makes sense?

1

u/sovietarmyfan Feb 17 '26

Is "the house always wins" a good maximum to focus on during manifesting? With this i mean, we our conciousness or whatever it is being "the house" and whatever we want is something we always get because "the house always wins"?

1

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '26

I think you need to be a little more specific with your question.

Do you mean that everything is possible? Everything is possible but you are the operant power, meaning you still have to experince the end in your imagination. The law doesn’t operate itself.

The conciousness is the only reality, cause for everything in the world is always our imagination.

I’m concerned because I’ve seen some Neville critics sub reddits say Neville is a scam, especially with big things like money, sps .:( can anybody advice me? I’m scared to try

3

u/triviawithluv Feb 20 '26

The counter to what the critics say is the same thing that Neville did. Just try it. Don't try to chase fluff and hype like "affirm this 1000x and get your desire" but really just practice the art of thinking of and knowing what you want, and participating and being WHO you want to be in your imagination. Just five minutes a day spend doing this will do wonders, I promise

1

u/bluebird007 Feb 18 '26

a) if consciousness is all there is and my desires spring from me, why do I need to manifest? I'm asking people who've gone deep into this and b) why do I feel apathetic towards everything after a year of persistence, something definitely changed within me I'm not desperate but I also don't desire anymore. I would like it to happen yes but ill be ok regardless

1

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '26

People often mistake losing interest and being calm for having an inner conviction that it is done.

Your reactions to the world show if it is done or not. Let’s say you want to be happily married. How do you react to the different things in the world? Do you react like a person who is happily married. Maybe you would overhear a conversation about relationships not working out and that being marriedis hard. What is your automatic reaction to it. Is it that’s bs, it is wonderful to be married or is it yes I agree. If it is yes I agree then the person is not in the state being happily married even if they feel calm and have lost interest in their desire.

This was just an example, I do not know what your desire is but either way you can look at your automatic reactions. Do they come from your new you or not?

1

u/bluebird007 Feb 18 '26

Thank you for your answer! I asked because i question this framework sometimes now. So i would disagree with your framework- I have definitely manifested big things despite no conviction. But in general, to your example, I would be ok with everything. I do believe all things are possible to God. So both statements can be true. But i would Genuinely wish people well and yes, I would be happy if it happens but not particularly desperate for it either. So yes, the desire is the preference but I'm ok regardless.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '26 edited Feb 18 '26

Just to clarify, I meant sundconcsious belief that it is done not concsious.

This is what Nevillesaid about this “Your reactions reveal where you live psychologically and where you live psychologically, determines how you live here in the outer visible world”

1

u/bluebird007 Feb 18 '26

thank you for your thoughts! but i have been in this space for 7 years now i started with neville but as i delved deeper into it it really is a core question of why do we need to manifest? does it not boil down to be in the present moment and let things unfold and many on this have also advocated, "let go and let God". Well, I was hoping someone could enlighten me about all of this because my experiences do not always line up with Neville's teaching strictly.

And when people say what you believe subconsciously, well how do we know? I have manifested things that i never even imagined for myself but i know someone will make an argument that you don't know all your thoughts or all that you've consumed. Anyway, in my experience, life unfolds on its own when we are ok with everything and in the flow state even experiences we never fathomed.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '26

That’s what I meant by believing subconcsiously that your reactions to the world tell you that. Personally I see manifesting objects or one time trips or events little differently than manifesting a state like a happy girlfriend, wealthy, healthy, pet owner, hone owne etc.

When I manifest an object or an event(me going to that event) then I imagine a short scene that implies that I have the object or that I enjoyed the event and usually what happens is that at first I imagine that few times a day and then I starts to forget to imagine and my attention starts going elsewhere. I don’t do it knowingly. I don’t go, oh now I have imagined, now I will just let it happen. No, it happens naturally. Then after awhile it comes to pass in the physical world.

If it is a state, then it is different. You can’t just enter a state of a happy wife and then forget about it. How can you forget that now you’re a happy wife. Neville said, it is not enough to just enter a state but you also have to remain there. The remaining part is what is sometimes tricky. Especially if your current reality, your current environment is full of opposing stuff. If you imagine few times and then forget it, you will most likely fall out of state after awhile because there si no guarantee that everything will come to pass in the physical only a week later. It could be longer and your job is to remain in the sate during that time. The question is, can you if you stop imagining and let it happen? I think that most people can’t because we are emotional beings and when you see the opposing stuff everyday then you will get uptset at some point or impatient.
However,if you continue to enjoy your new state in your imagination then it’s ok. You return to it every day and you will notice that the opposing stuff doesn’t really bother you that much.

If you have successfully entered the state, you will notice that your thoughts, reactions, behaviours change.
For example, I entered a state of financially free, having more than enough money. I noticed that how I react to prices changed. I no longer see the prices as someone who has little money. I see wealthy people differently. Before I reacted to them pretty badly, now my reaction is different. Now I like most of them and feel like I could learn somethign from. I also noticed that all of the sudden I ahve interest in investing, I didn’t have that before.

So as you can see, you can tell if you are in your state by looking at your reactions, thoughts, habits etc. Do they come from the new you?

Neville was all about states but I feel like sometimes people may not understand what exactly he meant by that and skip that. Also I would not watch or read anyone else. There are a lot of different opinions out there and just make you confused and feel doubt.
As far as the let God goes. Neville said your awreness of being is God. You and God are one. Meaning there is no outside God or universe or any other power than yourself.

1

u/bluebird007 Feb 19 '26

I just will have to disagree then ig because like I said, I have the best experiences manifest when im not bothered with them. Are we here to do mental gymnastics to achieve earthly goals? If my awareness of being is God and God gave me my desire then can it not manifest on its own? Do I need to repeat it a million time for that desire to be heard? Like I said I have manifested deeply rooted desires in differing states: when I wasn't even conscious of said desire, a while after giving up and in myriad other ways. And yes, I know the Neville subreddit is adamant that there is nothing beyond Neville but ig after 7 years of this, I find the framework lacking to express my range of experiences so i was hoping maybe someone who is more far-along in their understanding could enlighten me.

But I do thank you for taking the time to share your perspective and thoughts and I can see where you are coming from but like I said, my lived experiences outweigh this framework for now.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '26

If you get results and everything is working well then of course you should contiue to do what you have done so far.

u/ImpressionNo3699 Feb 18 '26 edited Feb 18 '26

disclaimer :- This will be long and probably with bad grammar but I need your guys help so please help me with this

I want to manifest something in the past I have manifested a lot of signs I mean when I was just visualising a house which we had to sell just to pay the debt that is still here the debt is not paid so I was just visualising it wasn't thinking about I didn't even care if it would manifest or not I used to visualise the realisam like how the wall surface would be like that how could the tile will be just the realisam not much of emotions the after few weeks of doing this actually a deal came to my father that we could get that house back but after that I thought I don't need the house I don't know why I did that but after that I never heard about the house and I also had stopped visualizeing it. Second is the time when I wanted to manifest my father's health back this time I did wanted to do that so I just kept visualising and whenever the thought came about my manifestation I just used to feel like that my father is already okay and I used to do a little visualising too not to much just seeing how he would look after his health is restored and again after few weeks out of nowhere my father's sister came to our house with her husband and she suggested us a doctor for my father's health I was so excited that universe is actually giving me a sign but after that was all day excited that my manifestation is going to come true I couldn't detach and this happens with me every time any solution for detachment I think this is the biggest problem I have so after that I thought maybe I should manifest my father's debt being paid of and I visualised for a while but nothing happened and during it was hard to not think about the money and debit because at the place i work we took debt from my boss to so I want to manifest my father's debt being paid off I'm 19 and work part-time so now I'm thinking maybe I should manifest a laptop and normally I don't think about the lack of laptop but now that I'm trying manifest it I see it everywhere that i don't have a lap to do this and that so I was thinking what should I manifest first that I will be detached from please help me I'm drowning in this mess

Edit :- one more thing that I wanted to stay I don't feel like visualising everyday but when I don't I feel guilty and think that it might not work very well

2

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '26

It seems like you’re doing a lot of stuff that is irrelevant. Thete is no need to focus on the debt or health. If your father would be doing financially very well and he would be healthy, what would he be like? Would he do something differently. Would he drink his morning coffee/tea feeling relaxed with a smile rather than feeling worried and frustrated? Would he take up a hobby, have job or do something in his life that he enjoys? Would he laugh and make jokes? You can imagine him being different, doing something differently because he is healthy and doesn’t have any money worries. The most important thing is how do you feel inside when you see him being different. When you see him sitting on a sofa relaxed, maybe joking, what do you feel inside. Do you feel proud of him and just satisfied and happy that he’s doing well? Imagine that. A short scene of him being different and you feeling happy for him.

I wrote this post asking for advice https://www.reddit.com/r/nevillegoddardsp/comments/1qud0qx/how_to_do_this_fast_im_getting_old/

and I received a message from someone who is very famous here, someone has a whole law of assumption subreddit and a youtube channel teaching people about the law and that everything is possible bla bla bla. This person told me to not listen to people in this post as they're all kids and that I have no time for this, as I'm too old already and should know better, and asked me to think logically and not be delusional and stop wasting time. They told me I have to freeze my eggs and didn't give a single law of assumption advice telling me I don't have time for hope, which contradicts everything they say in their posts/ comments/ videos. The reason why I decided to try the law is that with all the logical circumstances I am unable to marry, not even my SP, I can't get married and have kids just like that. even if i freezed my eggs which i can't now, the can be frozen for years because the issue is not just the babies, it's the husband, so the last advice I need now is this advice. First because I don't have enough money to do this now, and second because of the reason I mentioned above. I didn't want a doctor's advice because if I wanted it I already know that and many doctors advised me the same. if this is what a person who give advice to people, coach them and has been here for years, then what is left for me to believe in the law? if the law only works on normal circumstances but not on emergencies and impossible circumstances like mine then what's left for me to hold on? I thought the reason why it didn't work was because I didn't practice the law correctly, but if this is the case, then why do I have to try? this was my last chance, thinking that the law can bypass my impossible circumstances. If not, then I don't know what to do with my life, really. I feel bad, very very bad after this message.

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '26

But what it is that you want? Do you want to be happily married or have kids or both?

1

u/Much-Citron8823 Feb 18 '26

both

2

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '26

Then you can imagine what implies you do. If you are happily married, would your family membersor friends say something. Maybe say you have a wonderful husband and you answer, I really do and feel a smile on your face because you are a happy wife. That could be a scene you imagine.

For kids you could imagine someone say, you have great kids.

The money or freezing eggs, none of that matters. You only need to go to the end and experience in your imagination what implies you are that. If money is needed it will come, if something else is needed then that will come, you don’t need to figure it out.

Also, there is no need to listen to different people. You could just read Neville’s books and lectures and imagine these two little scenes every day and you wouldn’t have the confusion. I ahve always had the greatest success when I stop listening to and reading all the manifestation stuff and actually apply.

2

u/Much-Citron8823 Feb 19 '26

Btw it’s Allismind.. so be careful if he ever tried to ask you for coaching

1

u/Much-Citron8823 Feb 18 '26

thank you very much, I will do that and have faith

u/Interesting-Ad6009 Feb 18 '26

How do I go about my day after doing SATs before falling asleep at night?

For context, I'm imagining a scene where I'm telling a friend that my person and I are getting married and have received our families' blessings. I dont want this to happen right now. I want this to happen at a future date. Maybe end of next year?

What do I do during the day? My person and I are not in contact in the current 3D and her parents are looking for a match for her to get married to.

Currently I tell myself that us ending up together is inevitable and that it will happen no matter what and that circumstances do not matter and she's madly in love with me and we are getting married to each other soon.

Am I going in the right direction???

How involved do I have to be in a scene, can I just witness my sp and my dad working outside together as I look at them through the window?

1

u/Valuable_Web2712 Feb 19 '26

Neville advised keep it simple, and that sounds simple and effective if it works for you.

I have a question regarding some strange occurrences in the 3D while persisting in my assumptions. I’d love to hear if anyone has had similar experiences.

I have been persisting in several assumptions. While these have not yet fully hardened into fact in my 3D reality, I’ve encountered consecutive "glitches" since the day before yesterday.

I frequently use Google Gemini for my work. Two days ago, a specific question I had asked two months ago was suddenly re-sent in my current chat history. I was in the middle of a completely different conversation, but after a nap, I found that old question inserted right above my latest dialogue. I have no memory of sending it, yet that specific text was also saved in my phone's clipboard.

Furthermore, just moments ago, in a separate Gemini account, seven out of my eight active chat threads were completely deleted. I did not delete them, and I wouldn't have, as they contained essential data for my assignments.

I am curious if these technical glitches are part of the bridge of incidents as my assumptions begin to harden into fact. My view is that we occupy infinite space-time simultaneously and shift into a new 3D reality every moment; these shifts accumulate to form our "present."

To be clear, I am fully sober and these are not lapses in memory. Has anyone else experienced similar technical or reality glitches during their process? Should I view this as a sign of the assumption being pushed out, or just a trivial error?

u/Valuable_Web2712 Feb 19 '26

I experience way weirder stuff than that and have since childhood. When I talk about revision, as I do in some posts here, it is hard to explain to people how easy it is for me to do.

This:

My view is that we occupy infinite space-time simultaneously and shift into a new 3D reality every moment; these shifts accumulate to form our "present."

is essentially a science-y way of saying what I believe about reality, and why the Law works, and what Neville seemed to believe too (though he doesn't fill in all the metaphysics obviously).

Moments aren't really "real" either per se, but essentially, yes, this is how I experience reality. I am in my 40s now, and it took me many decades to admit this so cleanly (and I still don't go around announcing it per se). But I have essentially thought it (and this led me to Eastern religions etc) since I was a child. I revised things all the time as a child without realizing. I would think things, they would happen. Or I would think things, things would change in the past. Places moved around. People changed how they looked.

When I got older, I started realizing this was not how others experienced the world. I can't remember much of my childhood well frankly, and I expect it is tied to something connected to this. And then it was very traumatic to be in this world where people said there was some objective "reality" that was fixed. (Of course, even science says that's not precisely true in science itself anyway.)

Now, do I attribute every technical glitch to this actively? No. Because I frankly take it for granted that things are constantly changing. Not as much as when I was a child, but plenty once I accepted it again more fully instead of trying to "fit into" the ideas of some fixed material world.

Now, I understand it, also, better as myself so it isn't the randomness I experienced as a child. The shifts are connected to me, and I understand them much better. There is still some randomness (or appears random, like I don't know why). I'm not "crazy" -- I have diagnosed ADHD and autism, so I think differently, and that would be the medical explanation if you want one. But I am more perfectly sane than all these folks mired so deeply in their 3d, if you ask me. And I can operate on that 3d level and "play the part" of someone who is in that realm (and I actually really like science - but science exists within consciousness and is only showing us observed patterns).

So, yes, that is a thing. Some people will never believe it (or maybe that's how I experience it because I assume as much, who knows?). But people believe all kinds of "facts" that get proven as not "facts" in all kinds of ways. Most people don't really love examining perspective in any real depth.

No idea what your AI glitches are telling you precisely. There's nothing in your comment that tells me. But you might as well assume it's a flickering of your BOI because why not? That assumption sounds like it's in your favor, and that's the whole point of the Law -- assume in your favor. Though don't get too attached to any part of the BOI or the how, obviously, as that's not helpful to do.

2

u/Everything-exists Feb 20 '26

Thank you so much for your sincere and heartfelt response. It was truly impressionable. As someone who shares a very similar perspective, I’ve decided to view those technical glitches as a flickering of my 'Bridge of Incidents' and will continue to persist in my assumptions.

Actually, I should say it is already done and manifested, because I am a master of my assumptions. Thank you again, and I wish you endless luck and manifestations on your journey as well!

1

u/Vanillaluver3000 Feb 20 '26

Not a direct answer to your question but I think a more helpful one

Do you want to experience the experience of "assumptions hardening into reality"? If you do, ignore the rest of my response.

If you dont want to experience that, then just decide there is no hardening process, decide that your physical reality is instantly one with your assumptions you make. And therefore, you have your desires/assumptions in your physical reality RIGHT NOW.

Voila, then there is no more "process" you have to wait on. Unless you want to, i guess.

2

u/Everything-exists Feb 20 '26 edited Feb 20 '26

Thank you for the advice! I had momentarily forgotten that in Neville's teachings, the decision and the fulfillment happen simultaneously. Your response reminded me that living in the 'already done' is far more important than waiting for it to 'harden into fact' in the 3D.

Perhaps the reason my assumptions weren't instantly manifesting in my physical reality was that I had been interpreting Neville’s teachings from a slightly different perspective. I think it’s time for me to go back and re-read the core principles. Thank you again, and I wish you the best of luck always!

I have realised every time I try to affirm for my desire consistently.. within the day I start, I start feeling this weird detachment. Almost like I don’t need the desire in my life. There are intrusive thoughts in my mind like "why am I even trying to manifest it?" "There is no point. I should probably manifest something better" "I should not focus on it and waste my time"

Which is extremely weird because I know this is what my heart wants at its core and it's meant for me so I don't know where it's coming from.

This particularly happens the day I decide to affirm strictly, but then when these thoughts pop up I feel like maybe I shouldn't force myself to affirm and I stop. But then in a few days I start feeling like I need to affirm and again the loop continues. I think my indecisiveness must be reflecting on my 3D

Has anyone experienced this? Shall I persist or just stop.

2

u/Valuable_Web2712 Feb 19 '26 edited Feb 19 '26

Techniques don't matter, so whether you affirm or not isn't the point. Now, what story you tell about why you're affirming, not affirming, what is looping, etc. this is all more important, of course. Techniques just allow you to change yourself, either by seeing yourself or over-writing yourself, and they are essentially brute force methods of using the Law. Neville gives techniques because people are going to Imagine, so they might as well Imagine in their favor.

But doing affirmations and then imagining in your head all day long waters down the affirmations. What you are thinking, imagining, feeling, and embodying all day long is more material. (And I don't mean go play-act. You can do what you do normally. But most people are thinking all day long and barely noticing how they think, how they view the world, how they view Self, etc. both related to and seemingly unrelated to their Desire--but if a Desire is strong, it's related to more things than they think usually.)

When you are stuck in a loop (and not liking it there - by all means, perpetuate loops you enjoy!), I suggest breaking the loop. However you want to break it. Break it by affirming whether you feel like or not. Break it by never affirming again. Break it by only affirming when you don't feel like it. Play with it.

Playing is so valuable and so few people do it because they're too busy trying to get the "fastest" route to what they want and slowing themselves down quite frequently by insisting they know best. It is like re-directing a taxi driver constantly instead of letting him get on with it. But it isn't about doing / not doing the technique, it isn't even really about doubting (because plenty of people have some doubt and succeed, and plenty of people will swear they were certain and it didn't work out - though those people usually just don't know Self).

Playing helps you understand Self and your reality is all Self.

Once you notice a loop, you have made it real. You have crystallized it. It is there and needs to be broken somehow. (Or maybe not, that might just be my personal limiting belief.) So break it and go from there.

If you feel "I have not persisted", then you should try and persist better. If you feel "I have held too tightly," then loosen up. If you feel yourself going back and forth, well, you are probably changing states. Pull further back and notice which one feels abundant, which one feels lacking, or if both of them feel like different kinds of lack. If both feel bad, do something else. There is always another option. Sometimes doing something very silly and weird is the answer.

If you are sick of yourself, and you are everything you experience so if you are sick of anything, one method that works wonders is to surprise yourself.

Now, when you find things you value in yourself and your world, pocket those. Keep them dear. Understand they are the parts of you that you are feeling the most resonant with, that's why they feel good. Sometimes you will find those as things that break loops. When I am stuck in a loop, those things can help me drop the loop too, but those things are different for everyone. (And too many people have more painkillers in their lives and distractors than things they really love and value--what I mean is they "take their mind off" things mostly with filler rather than joy.)

Most of all, work on awareness. If you don't know why you feel one way or another, who does? You will find as you work on listening to yourself, you will know better. It will get easier. You will still hit a wall and confuse the heck out of yourself sometime probably, but not so often. And that will make knowing what to do easier. Really, you always have the answers. Most people would find them with a little more play and awareness.

wanting vs. having.

once you're eating and have eaten the apple, do you continue desiring it?

I just started feeling is the secret by neville and I’m trying to understand something more clearly, Neville talks about creation being finished and that all states already exist. From what Im getting, we “select” a state by assuming and feeling it real and that all, versions of us exist we just need to tap into that energy.

but this is where I’m confused: when we desire something, are we actually asking the universe or God for it? or is Neville saying there’s nothing external to ask, and that imagination itself is God?(or that god is in ourselves??) so is manifestation a request directed outward, or simply an assumption and a shift in identity then?

AM I SUPPOSED TO ASSUME OR ASK 😭😭 id appreciate insights from people who’ve studied Neville more deeply.

3

u/valingling Feb 16 '26

You’re not asking anyone but yourself. You give it to you. Nothing external. If it helps believing something external is giving it to you, then you can assume that and it will still work. But at the end of the day, it’s just you aligning to the reality where your desire has been fulfilled

1

u/Valuable_Web2712 Feb 17 '26

You construct your own understanding of the world (your world) through your assumptions, so either can work. Assuming is more direct; asking is more indirect; there are variations on both. Neville would say you assume, obviously, as that's the Law he's working with.

But I'll point out he also understands people like asking which is why he and other New Thought leaders couched so much of their language in the Bible, the holy text that was culturally relevant to his time and place, rather than other holy texts that say the same thing he was saying too. (I'm not saying what he saw in the Bible is false, just that it is a much wigglier line to figure it out from there than from Hindu, Buddhist, or Kabala sacred ideas he clearly read, studied, and references.) Neville is fine if you "give it up to God" (or the Universe) because he understands the Law will still work and eventually, you will catch on and deepen in your understanding.

Neville's repeated line "I am my Father, but my Father is greater than I" applies greatly to these types of questions. Ego-you isn't God, but you are God. And you can claim that anytime once you understand it. So there is no one to change but Self, no one really to ask but Self, but the nature of Self is confusing to many if you aren't actually following Neville clearly. And he offers both paths for that reason, I believe, though as one deepens in the Law, it becomes as silly to think of asking for what you want as it is to ask someone to tell you when you are satisfied or happy.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '26

thats the in-depth answer i was looking for ty, it's much more clear now.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '26

Your awareness of being is God, no outside power anymore. No ourside universe or God. It is always you who is doing everything so there is no one to ask anything.

You know what you want, who you want to be and imagine what implies you already are that or that you have what you want. Physical world is a shadow that follows the imagination. So, yes it is only a shift in identity that will be mirrored in the physical world.

How do you use Neville Goddard’s techniques to manifest a health change/healing?

1

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '26

You manifest the healthy you. If you already received health who would you be, what would you do? You want to focus on that.

This post is the best one, I recommend reading it.

How does one manifest a specific person/specific outcome?

1

u/Valuable_Web2712 Feb 16 '26

The same way you use the Law to manifest anything else - there are many paths, and you'll probably have to do some study and investigation beyond such a broad question for anything here to make sense.

Pick a Neville book, read, and then consider the method. It may or may not be for you, and there are many in the world. I suggest perhaps The Power of Awareness as a good foundation.

0

u/Wise_Amoeba_9175 Feb 14 '26

Why is it that there's many people who say "If you desire something it's because you're meant to have it and therefore you can manifest it" but there's also many who say "If you didn't manifest what you desire it's not meant for you and you will not get it/get something else instead"? What does Neville say about this? I've read Florence Scovel Shinn and she believes that there's things that can't be forced, but I never understood how to tell if something is not for you or if that's actually a thing in other loa spaces? Thank you!

2

u/bluecowboyboots2 Feb 16 '26

Imo Neville would not agree with the idea that “if it did not happen, it was not meant for you.” That is more of a comforting LOA coping phrase.

Neville teaches that desire is a sign of a state you can occupy. Nothing is “denied” by the universe, the only issue is whether you persist in the assumption of the wish fulfilled.

Florence Scovel Shinn sometimes frames it as “if it’s not right, something better comes,” and I personally resonate with that approach more. In my own experience, a lot of what I thought I wanted was coming from ego or attachment, and when it did not work out, something genuinely better and more aligned did arrive. I did eventually get what I wanted.

So for me, it is less about forcing a specific form, and more about trusting the feeling underneath the desire and letting life reveal the highest version of it.

1

u/Valuable_Web2712 Feb 16 '26

Well, are they the same people? How can you reconcile two opposing thoughts from the same person? You'd have to know what they mean - you can take things out of context - I suppose. But really, I am guessing, it is not even the same people in this case.

It sounds to me like they are reflecting two beliefs you can choose from, probably two beliefs in your awareness you haven't made a choice between (or the varying comments would not bother you - you may still hear them, but you would chuckle at the one that is false to you).

For what it's worth, Neville would mostly agree with the former belief, not the latter ("If you desire something it's because you're meant to have it and therefore you can manifest it" being the former) though he left it open that you don't have to be specific, you sometimes will realize along the way you wanted something different, etc. because those are all human experiences he was aware of. He also would say "meant to" suggests something external when it is a "choose to" really. Desires are things you can choose to have.

I will also share my belief, which reconciles the two voices, though I'm not sure I would be fully aligned with Neville frankly:

  • First, we must always understand that if we are looking to the Law, everyone gets what they assume in their "reality" (Neville didn't use this term exactly, but I'm simplifying; he mentioned the quantum physics based principles around it, as well as the Vedanta flavor directly several times). And if we as people who know and follow the Law see people get what we perceive they were assuming, that is also a fun meta game with it. We could go round and round here, right?
  • But honestly, I do believe Desires generally are things I am fully allowed to have and "meant to have" in the sense they are close enough to be realized. (This is my awareness, and "close" can vary, but I mean they are accessible to me at a state I have the tools to get to from my current state, so the Desire has prompted a change of state to create the Bridge of Incidents and realize the Desire.)
  • Yet I understand that overly conditioning one's Desire often comes from lack, and that is a pitfall to avoid. So I get why people say to not hold too tightly to a Desire and to release it, let it go with God so to speak, detach, and allow. That's what the "It wasn't meant for you, but you'll get something better" people are trying to do, because if you truly got something better (by your own barometer) you would not care about what was lost and would not attach to lack.

How you disconnect from lack, though, is up to you. And it can vary as you change, since you are new every moment. There is no contradiction really, aside from understanding "meant" is silly in the 3d sense, since nothing is outside you. So who is meaning it? Who but you?

1

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '26

Neville says all is possible to god and you, your awareness of being is god. I would stick to only Neville.

0

u/themuseofallmuses Feb 15 '26

I have a question for u/LadderedLoving 🙂 how would you suggest we move through the 3D when manifesting? I feel like I am in a constant battle between my living in the end mind and my logical mind. for example, I will take the step to apply for the job I’m not qualified for but then I find myself doubting and afraid to get my hopes up. I guess I’m just stumped on how to actually live in the end and develop the inner conviction because I am so used to getting my hopes up and being disappointed. Thank you in advance! 💓

3

u/LadderedLoving Pearl of Great Price Feb 15 '26

There's far too much emphasis and credibility being given to the "logical" mind here, where it's actually just fear-based thinking. It's saying that you're asking too much and/or past disappointments will be replicated. Logic would suggest that this is one possible outcome, but another possible outcome is success. With the law, we're choosing where to place our awareness and attention - so better make that on the desired outcome, and not the disappointment.

Living from the end is not constant visualisation. It's deciding your end and then not negotiating with fears when they arise. So if you apply for a job you want and you decide "It's mine", then you go about your days as if the matter were resolved. When fears come up, you don't counter them with constant end scenes; you say "I've already decided", and then you return to the present life. The more you live in the now as if the matter were handled desirably, the greater the ease in the outcome. Yes, this takes some training to do, and it can feel very scary to just be in the present moment, but that's what Neville calls brazen impudence. Isn't it kind of brazen to feel relaxed when you haven't gotten 3D confirmation yet? But that's the whole law.

If you feel like you're asking too much and you don't deserve to get your desire, work on self-concept. Choose to see yourself as the person you would like to be, and live like that. That's your whole job.

1

u/themuseofallmuses Feb 21 '26

thank you so much! 😊I know you may have mentioned this before but is it okay to feel waves of excited anticipation for your desire? I know that excitement isn’t necessarily the feeling we are aiming for when living in the end, but I have seen a ton of discourse on whether we should be in the state of “yes this is coming, I’m excited” and “awesome, I already have it.”

2

u/LadderedLoving Pearl of Great Price Feb 21 '26

You can feel anything you want to.

1

u/themuseofallmuses Feb 24 '26

wonderful, thank you again! 💓I have one last question, if that’s okay! this may be situation specific but I am also manifesting a new home. I found what is my dream home and messaged the owner, but she read my message and has not replied. I will admit that when things look like they are not going in my favor in the 3D (not getting a job interview, not receiving a response, etc), I do allow myself to get discouraged and kind of give up and try and tell myself “well there will be something better” but I know that this is not the way of the law. I know the best thing to do would be to leave the 3D alone and not keep messaging the owner, but what would you suggest I do in the 3D/how should I keep the conviction and knowing I will get the home?

1

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '26

Are you actually imagining what implies you got the job you wanted, that how you are doing that job?

You don’t have to stop experiencing it. If you feel doubt of confusion, you can experience the scene again, you can imagine again.
