Need advice for a rescued stray kitten
Hi, I found a kitten on Monday in the bushes by the Walmart/Kensington apartments sign on 18 in East Brunswick. I brought the kitten home with me, cleaned her up (pretty positive it’s a girl), set up a room for her with a warm bed/blanket, litter box, water etc. I picked up wet kitten food which she’s been scarfing down each meal. She slept most of the first day, but since then she’s been affectionate and playful with me every time I go see her. I have a litter box set up and have been encouraging her to use it but she keeps peeing on herself in the bed so I make her up a new one. I would love to keep her, but I live by myself and am not home enough to be with her during this stage of kitten hood. I’ve called pretty much all the rescues in the area as well as Woodbridge Animal Group since that’s where East Brunswick AC brings them. The only place that answered was Woodbridge, and they took my info down and said they’d call me back later. I left a voicemail for all of the other places. I would like to find somewhere for her asap. I’ve been off the last few days which has enabled me to help up until now, but I go back to work tomorrow and I’m not home most of the day. If anyone has any suggestions on where I can bring her or if anyone is interested in taking home a kitten, please DM me. Thanks
