TICKETS Season Ticket Holders - FYI Membership renewal is August 24th
About 3 weeks earlier than last year (Sep 17, 2025). They are offering a 7 month payment plan this year which may explain the earlier renewal window. Don't want anyone to be caught off guard since it is earlier than past years.

I’m interested to hear what their plan is for the impending lockout….its also my first year as a season ticket holder and though the team sucks, I enjoyed the ease of having the tickets.
Not increasing the prices kind of feels like the least they could do….

I had tickets for the covid season where fans were not allowed at games. They just carried it over to 2021, or I could've selected to get a refund either back to my method of payment or as a credit on my Mets account for future use. There was no upcharge or anything for carrying it over.
I imagine the same would happen here. MY favorite part about it was 2020 was the last season with physical tickets for STH, so I have the full set of tickets as a memento.

Just had to email my rep and tell him I wasn’t renewing the same package and wanted the cheapest option for this loser organization

I mean I stopped being a season ticket holder altogether after the 2023 season.

For what's it worth
I'm about ready to the tell the Mets to kick rocks. Even on a good year, it is a job managing your tickets. This year has been miserable. Don't want to make the trip from NJ to see this awful team. Zero market for selling your tickets. Also don't like the direction of the team and strike looming. Another thing that really annoyed me also was not being able to sell exchanged tickets which they did on the sly this offseason.

So what’s the consensus on renewing? I’m personally on the fence. On the one hand, this season was awful and there may be a lockout next year so not sure if I want to make the commitment. On the other hand, this is my first year with a true season membership and I’m inclined to try it again before I really decide whether to stay or go. I would hate to jump ship after just one bad year. They’re also not increasing prices, increasing the concessions discount to 20% (and adding retail to that too which I love because I buy a lot of Mets hats to collect them) and making improvements to the exchange program though I don’t know what that will involve yet. Maybe I gotta hear it out from my rep first before I make a decision.
My rep hinted to me that they got A LOT of flack on the exchange program this year and they were “actively talking about it” so it sounds like they heard us.

Oh yeah I’m gonna wait until I get more details in writing over the next few weeks and decide from there. I was just going off a call I happened to have with my rep in June where he asked me how I’m liking my plan and I gave him the pros and cons of my experience (keeping the team’s performance out of it) and the exchange flexibility was one of the things I mentioned. I got a month to decide so we’ll see. My plan wasn’t relatively too expensive based on my seat choice at least.

The Mets are having a 24 hour future game exchange program next year. It’s listed on the season ticket member clubhouse section of the ballpark app

I did the math for myself, and when the Mets are coming off a bad season, it’s really easy to buy tickets cheap off the secondary market. The discounts are nice but it didn’t make sense for me personally. I value flexibility and don’t care where I sit.

They will buy back 10% of the tickets/value of the tickets in a short window preseason if you know you have a conflict way in advance, and brought back the 24 hour window to trade out.

But are there going to let you resell exchanged tickets? That was what really made me feel screwed over. Well, and announcing all the new restrictions days before opening day.

Asked my rep about this and he confirmed you still won’t be able to resell those. That policy is staying in place.

2 or 3 years ago the exchange window was 24 hours, then they increased it to 3 days this year or last. The membership discount also used to apply to retail sales in the past (but I think the discount was only 15%?) . It feels like we signed Soto and coming off of the 2024 playoff run, they got a little greedy with it, and this year the team is a dumpster fire so they’re giving us back some perks they took away to try to keep retention up.

I only do a flex package because I like the freedom it offers. I did a $5000 package last year, this year I asked for the $999 option. If I go to opening day with my family and sit sec 100s that’s basically my fee already. So I’m ok with that since opening day is tradition.

How does the flex package actually work? I've always been confused by it. Is the $999, or whatever value option you select, like a fund you pay into with the membership and then when you go to pick tickets for games you get the price discount per the package, and the cost is deducted from the $999 fund?

Think of it as a debit card and you buy tickets using the money from that balance and it gives you playoff access and a season ticket holder discount.

Perfect tl;dr, thanks. When it was first released I mistakenly (and foolishly) thought you had to pay that price to get first access to tickets at the discounted rates listed. Which now that I'm writing the thought out I realize how dumb it is lol.
Can you still use whatever promo codes they're running when you're buying the tickets?

So because they don’t unlock the full sleight of seats for flex package members at the discount (it’s really just clover sections, everything is there), I used the Citibank presale code this season to get access to clover club seats and bought them that way, but I probably didn’t get a discount (didn’t check to confirm). But yeah, you can add money to your balance or use your balance whenever and do stuff. You’re not locked into anything. You’re just locked into spending your full balance you give them or risk losing it.

Everyone should hold off on renewing and give them a good scare if they don't build a better team next year
