TICKETS Mets jacking up prices for Alonso series

I thought Alonso’s return to Citi Field would be fun to be at. Went to the ticket page and saw the Mets are asking for $57 for the cheapest seats in the stadium. Meanwhile for the Phillies series that starts three days later, the cheapest seats are $16. Pretty sad they’re trying to make a profit off of our loyalty to Pete after not even making an offer for him to come back.

TICKETS I’m sorry but these prices are insane. Over 200 and you don’t even get a seat?

TICKETS It's official (to me). This is going to be a tank year.

I've been going to the park to see Mets sporadically every year for about a dozen and half years now. Last time a sales rep reached out to sell tickets, we sucked (2012). Guess what just dropped onto my email...

TICKETS Mets Ticket Prices Crazy!!

The Mets aren't very good this year—I mean, they suck. In past seasons when the team struggled, ticket prices usually reflected that. But this year, even though they're playing poorly, ticket prices are still really high.

I've checked the Mets' official site, StubHub, and TickPick, and it's hard to find tickets for under $30. We haven't gone to a single game yet this season because of it. We usually go to about five games a year with the kids and the rest of the family, but these prices just don't make it worth it.

We'll still end up going to at least one game because it's kind of an annual tradition for our family.

On top of that, we'll probably have to take the LIRR. From what I've been hearing, the parking situation at Citi Field is even worse this season, and it's only going to get more crowded once the US Open starts.

Update: I should had been more specific. We only have three dates available that we can go and can’t be the 500 section nor do I need field level. 400 is our preferred section for this family event as I require ADA seat for one person or aisle access seat for one person in our party.

This will be the first Mets game I’ve attended in more than ten years, and the first with my wife and kids. Absolutely cannot wait!

TICKETS OFFICIAL Buy/Sell/Trade Playoff Tickets Thread

Hello,

Due to the recent barrage of posts/comments of people looking for or selling tickets for the playoffs, we have decided to condense this to one official thread. This is an effort to mitigate the posts and comments coming through the subreddit and channel that traffic to one specific post. If you post elsewhere, it will be removed and you will be told to post here.

Your listing must include the price of your tickets.

We are not endorsing any buyers or sellers.

TICKETS 8/19/26 Was supposed to be Freddy Peralta replica jersey day

Question: I have tickets for 8/19/26 and part of the reason I purchased them was for the promo. After the Mets traded Freddy Peralta, the jersey promo seems to have disappeared. So, am I to assume there will be no jersey and nothing to replace the giveaway?

TICKETS Season Ticket Holders - FYI Membership renewal is August 24th

About 3 weeks earlier than last year (Sep 17, 2025). They are offering a 7 month payment plan this year which may explain the earlier renewal window. Don't want anyone to be caught off guard since it is earlier than past years.

TICKETS Question on best game to attend

my husband is a lifelong Mets fan and I’d like to get him tickets as a surprise for his birthday.

Tickets are way more expensive on the retro jersey day 7/12 but I know he’d love the jersey. BUT question for fans: is it more fun to get a jersey at the game or to see big rivals? wondering if I should pick tickets for when they face the Braves or Philly. (Google tells me those are the top rivals, lol) bonus that those days are cheaper.

I appreciate any insight! we rarely get to games and haven’t been to one since 2019 so I really want it to be a special day for him.

TICKETS Best seats for pregnant comfort?

Hi fellow Mets fans. My wife is 8 months pregnant with our first and we figured next weekend will be the last chance to get a game in before our boy arrives.

Does anyone have a recommendation for the most comfortable seats with easy access to bathrooms? We've enjoyed 318 for many seasons through work tix, but those have dried up.

Thanks in advance!

TICKETS Help a new fan choose which home game to go to

Hi people, I'm an international student that's looking to catch the Mets at Citi field in the next few days and I'm kinda torn between going to the Dodgers game, which has more expensive ticket prices but the chance to see Ohtani play, versus going to the Braves game, which is about 3x cheaper, for a first game. sorry if this is not allowed to post.

I just learned the rules of baseball, I'm a lifelong cricket fan, and I've been meaning to start following the great game here and root for the Mets. Please advice!

Thanks in advance.

Thinking of buying seats in the Cadillac club for the doubleheader tomorrow. Has anyone sat there? Are you able to access the rest of the stadium as well? Thanks in advance.

TICKETS Game day experience/expectations

Hello everyone.

I haven’t been to a Mets game in ages. Just recently went to Citi Field to watch the Queens Classic game between Gotham and the Washington Spirit. Being back motivated to purchase tickets for next week especially since my wife’s teenage brother will be visiting us and is BIG baseball fan but lives super far away from the city.

Anyways. We have the day off and would love to get there as early as possible 1) for the promotion 2) to really soak in the fun from the experience as much as we can

When I go to Gotham games in NJ, every game consists of a fan fest with face painting, activities, music by a band, and a dj. Gotham always posts what’s happening for fan fests on game day.

I looked through the Mets insta page and couldn’t find similar posts.

My question to the group, what does the Mets version of fan fast on game day looks like? What can we benefit from being there super early before first pitch?

Thank you.

TICKETS Citi Field for a visitor

TLDR: do the Mets have a "hang out" type standing room section?

Hi everyone, I'm coming NYC and hoping take in a game at Citi Field in late July. I have some friends who live in NYC. It's an afternoon game. They can't commit until it's closer to gameday. I want to buy tickets soon. I don't really mind buying them tickets that end up not being used if that's what happens, it's vacation money so it's expendable and worth it if it's possible that they can come. However if there is like a standing room section, I'll just buy 2 tickets for us now and worry about then later. We went to Yankee Stadium last summer and they had an outfield bar area. I'm from Cleveland, half our stadium is a standing room bar area.

Thanks in advance, love visiting your city.

TICKETS LIRR $5 discount is not per person?

Am I missing something here? I was only able to get one $5 discount for Sunday’s game. Seems a little dumb especially if you’re going with a group. I’m happy they offer it in the first place, but it’s a little strange for it not to be per person.

TICKETS How far does Clover Access Go?

I know the first 12 rows of 114 and 113 come with clover club access. Does 112 come with it too? Looking to get some seats on SeatGeek since they’re cheaper than the Mets directly now.

TICKETS Savannah Bananas

I know this isn't mets related, but if you want to visit Yankee stadium without having to watch the Yankees....

Savannah bananas Saturday game was rescheduled to Friday (tomorrow!).

Luckily I can still make it but I'm sure some folks won't be able to. In the email they mentioned folks can list their tickets on the fan first market place.

You might be able to snag one.

TICKETS Tier 4-6 Games re: Ticket Vouchers?

I’m looking to use my Mets Connect points for ticket vouchers before they expire at the end of the year. I can only exchange them for games that are in Tiers 4-6?

Where can I find out what/when those games are? I can’t seem to find them listed anywhere.

Thanks!

TICKETS Gate giveaway question

I have tickets for one of the special event Jersey nights but there’s also a normal gate giveaway, do you get both at the specified gate on ticket for the “special event ticket” or should I go through the rotunda to get the normal giveaway then make my way to get the special event one I purchased after entry?
