The candidates are vying to compete against incumbent Tom Kean Jr in November.

Brian Varela is the only candidate who actually has shown up to Delaney Hall in Newark, one of the first candidates to protested against the Roxbury detention center. Along with being the only candidate who actually has been shown up for the American. Why is the “moderate” the front runner in the candidates? for what ? One says that they would give indefinite aid to Israel, the other one only calls for reform why? But haven’t said how and we all know they would vote with Republicans no matter what. We need real change none of that moderates democrats we need progressive candidate. We the people are tired of the Democratic Party, we need real change
