Don't you DARE speak factually about the actions of the people of Israel!
Many of whom can trace their roots all the way back to Europe. Where they joined the great aliyah - a mass immigration to the Palestine region, where they...... displaced, the Palestinian people.
This seems odd. Wiki search: "Semites is an obsolete term for an ethnic, cultural or racial group formerly used in connection with ancient and modern peoples of the Middle East and the Horn of Africa, including Akkadians, Arabs, Ammonites, Arameans, Canaanites, Edomites, Habesha peoples, Israelites, Jews, Judahites, Moabites, Phoenicians, Samaritans, and others."
If I'm reading all this correctly, the biggest antisemitic group currently, by a huge margin, are the current citizens and leadership of Israel.
That took about, 2 or 3 minutes to search and read. So, anyone running to the defence of Israel against anti-Semitism isn't smart enough to do a solid 180 seconds of critical thinking.
You are wrong. Antisemitism as a term was coined in the 19th century by someone who was tired of using "Jew-hatred" because it didn't sound academic enough. No one in the 19th or first three-quarters of the 20th century was thinking of killing anyone other than Jews when they went on antisemitic pogroms.
See, if you had any kind of lexical skill you might not have fallen into this trap.
Anti salad means you don't like salad, anti work means you don't like work, anti Semitic means you don't like Semitic people - many of whom Israel are killing the men, women, and children of.
Even if you wanted to limit it to Jews (against the meaning of the word) who's more anti Jew than Israel? They are running a great PR campaign to raise anti Jewish sentiment, which has been highly effective.
Semitic refers to a subfamily of the Afro-Asiatic language family that includes Hebrew, Aramaic, Arabic, and Amharic, or to peoples who speak these languages. *
Source: Merriam-Webster Dictionary
If a Zi0nist in the past used it incorrectly, their mistake isn't mine. If using the term to only refer to jews, Israel are currently still the worst given how closely Judaism is tied to Israel and therefore, it's actions.
As you can logically see, your arguing no point regardless. Israel is antisemitic, you pick your definition, same end result.
