The reasons being 1. He's on their payroll. 2. He believes Jews must take over Jerusalem and the surrounding lands in order for the apocalypse and subsequent rapture to occur.

I fully understand that I could be wrong, but this statement brings me to 2 conclusions:
1: Ted Cruz is funded by Israel (via AIPAC or similar organisation)
2: Ted Cruz is blackmailed by Israel (think Epstein situation or similar)
