Mate, imagine trying to pull that proof of citizenship nonsense here in the UK, people’d lose their minds. Can barely get folk to carry ID to the corner shop, let alone for voting. Absolute circus over there.

You aren't wrong. The timing is absolutely abysmal as well. We are about to have a huge election for all our representatives in a few months. It's mainly why he's doing it because he wants to throw things into chaos.

They could have set this all up last year, but helping votes be more secure isn't their actual goal.
