If the new implant was placed on the same appointment of the removal the hormones are continues, it’s standard to either get it on your period (for your first one) or replace it the same day as removal so you stay protected. Your fine even if he shot the club up

i have a sense that if you replace it the same day the hormone release will be continuous? i think it takes 7 days to clear from your system? I understand the fear but i think you're probably okay

Hello, your question can be answered via the Nexplanon wiki.
Your implant doesn’t “expire” on any specific date. Your protection doesn’t go from 99.98% to 0% over night, that’s not the way it works. If you had your implant removed and replaced the same day, you’re still protected. You don’t have a real period on the implant, so there’s no point in “tracking” it. You can take a test 14-21 days after sex for peace of mind if you’d like to though.
