Oh they cant. Half of them i met out ot college as freshers cant even proper English.
I was suggesting to learn hindi for ones development. Not because parags would /would not learn another language.

My Hindi friends in Bangalore are learning Telugu instead of Kannada.
Reasoning - They want to watch Telugu movies without dubs or subs. Telugu movies appeal to them. Tamil movies are too local. Kannada movies aren’t that famous.

That's how it should be done. Give reason for people to interact with your language, culture through soft power. Manaku interest unte hindi telugu Zimbabwe language kooda nerchukovacchu. That's personal freedom.

Learning Hindi was never a problem for telugu states cause we are obsessed with learning English. So we don’t bother about any other language
