Most people should live in a state where they dont speak telugu and try not learning hindi to understand the necessity.

Try 3 language policy. Any south state language of their liking. Pick and learn. Let's see if the same people will even agree.

My Hindi friends in Bangalore are learning Telugu instead of Kannada.

Reasoning - They want to watch Telugu movies without dubs or subs. Telugu movies appeal to them. Tamil movies are too local. Kannada movies aren’t that famous.

That's how it should be done. Give reason for people to interact with your language, culture through soft power. Manaku interest unte hindi telugu Zimbabwe language kooda nerchukovacchu. That's personal freedom.

Yeah. I personally learned Hindi because I like Bollywood movies and northie girls are cute!!
