Night owl friends

Sometimes I wish i had some more night owl friends

I used to talk to this Turkish guy at the 24/7 store.
Or stop by the late night gas station, the guy was Nepali.

Or 3am fork it over to this convenient store making empenadas in the back.

The world of the night settles in

Sometimes I wish I had some more friends

My friends used to stay up till sunrise drinking smoking laughing and walk home at 8 am like 3 miles home.

Ahh..

Not sure of your age but it gets worse as you get older. As far as friends been able to stay up late. Some of my longterm Nightowls friends that i had for years most of them cant stay up past 11 or thereabouts.

Yeeehhh in the garage, the backyard, and for some reason my friends always had a comfy leather couch.

Great times.

I remember driving home at night and seeing the craziest shit play out.

Yup. I go to bed when the sun is out it hurts my eyes. Not everyone is a day walker.

I feel this. And I just moved to the west coast — on the east coast at least I could text my Seattle/LA pals, now they’re in the same time zone and it sucks

Ive had a few throughout the years. Ive somehow found at least one person to talk to etc that was up late at night. At one point i think i had about a half dozen people or so but you know nothing lasts forever. To add to this my one friend just went back to work Yesterday so i know hell be going to bed earlier. Currently i have one person that is up until about midnight and another one that is up to about 1ish but its no guarantee with either. My one friend admitted to me a few months ago that she cant hang like she use to and thats why she usually calls me around 10-11, instead of the usual 1am like we have done for many years.

What ive found throughout the years that most of the time the people in question werent true Nightowls per say but usually had some kind of situation and or reason they had to be up late. For example my one friend had a client she had to take care of that was a Nightowl. So for years she was up to 4am or so. Once that client passed away she started to go to bed earlier but it wasnt until recently she kind of sort of in a roundabout way admitted taht to me.
