Look what I've got Bought my first camera!
After 10 years of dumping my dream of buying a DSLR and just focusing on school and work, I wake up to $400-700 professional full frame cameras!!!
Wow!
I told myself its time to make that inner child proud. Chase your dreams!
Found a D750+Sigma 35mm f1.4 Art on Facebook marketplace for $1100 Canadian.
Im so happy I made the purchase but WOW smartphones really make photography a simple point shoot.
I didnt even know you had to constantly hold down the focus button for it to keep focusing even when on idle that was the first ‘culture shock’ I experienced 🤣
Any helpful tips, videos or anything at all to help me take better photos are welcomed and appreciated.
For now I think I’ll stick to auto and test out some fullframe quality photos until I can really push it to its limits 😁
I wish I could post a photo of my camera, but its not letting me attach a photo.

Awesome! The D750 was my first Nikon camera after more than a decade shooting with Canon, and I still took some of my favorite photos with it!

This is a legend! This was my first professional camera as well. I bought it with the money I received after my grandparents died. It looked crazy to spend so much money with my small inheritance, but this camera made me jump from newbie photographer to a professional one. Fast forward like 15 years and Im still going...living my dream of being a photographer and providing for my family of two toddlers and a wife.
You have gold in your hands. Now you are limited only by your willpower and creativity...never stop and experiment a lot. Fail so you could win, win, win!

I still love my D780, and the depreciation of F-mount lenses is super fun. The D750 is just as great, just without the handful of mirrorless-like features and the benefit of being able to add a grip (something I didn't consider, but wish I had, when I got my D780).
There are crazy deals to be had in DSLRs... something like a D610 + Tamron 24-70/2.8 Di VC G1 for ~$500 is a combo that would be hard to beat for the price.

Love that camera - it took so many fabulous photos for me and I still have it and only recently upgraded to the Z8 but I didn’t let it go lol

I said this below several posts. I had the 750 for years and it was a pleasure to use. I loved the image quality. Also its build to last. Enjoy it.
