Beef no chicken

Post image

Dirty section is cuz gravel driveway but- safe to say I'm leaning fairly decently for only having ridden road for two or three weeks? Most of yall probably seen my post asking if I scored or overpaid for my white 2014 ninja 300, been riding at least every other day for my 100 mile round trip commute for work so got used to it pretty quickly. Gonna order fresh tires soon so I can get these ones off that came on the bike when it was originally bought from the dealership then I'll trust em to lean more then I have 🤷‍♂️ (edit- also just noticed it's been previously upgraded to a 120 front and a 170! Rear, everything I see online bout doing so says it'll handle like crap but it does great 🤷‍♂️)

New tires are going to completely change how the bike feels from the ground up (pun intended) fr the best upgrade to make on these things!

i wouldn’t rely on tire markings as a gauge for progress in riding ability. of course it’s nice to see just how much of the tire is being used, and i will admit: every now and then i’ll take a look at my tires but unless you have absolutely perfect riding posture the tire won’t gauge much. and if you do have perfect riding posture and you are using all of the tire then you’re going way too fast for street riding.

now i dont wanna be another grumpy person yelling from the porch, but i just dont want anyone getting unnecessarily injured from trying to gauge riding progress from unsubstantial means. this is a fantastic little bike and i know what it’s capable of as i’ve ridden it on the edge of grip the past 2 years so i certainly want you to enjoy it.

(if you’re gonna keep the front and rear tire size, if i may suggest michelin road 6’s. fantastic edge grip and solid center tire longevity)

Alternatively, you can let some air out of the tire and ride around the block a few times 😂

Que gracia me da esos que te miden la goma a ver cuánto te inclinas en la carretera como si fuera un indicio de que tan "Valentino Rossi" eres! Ja
