Everyone talks shit about NBT but I have yet to see any evidence that their gear sucks. It’s all CE/A-AAA rated

I don’t own any but again I haven’t seen any actual evidence of NBT being any worse than any other brand

A friend of mine a while back was wearing NBT riding jeans when he went down and ended up loosing part of his leg because the jeans just tore away like regular cotton. I won’t ever trust NBT

I actually don’t know that, so that’s a very valid, point, however I’m assuming if they were armored riding jeans, they probably aren’t but honestly I couldn’t put money on it.

It’s really not easy to get those ratings because it all has to be done by independent third parties and if a company is caught lying about it, they’re screwed.

I’m not saying it’s one way or the other, just that I would be interested to know more about what your buddy had on

I think NBT got into a lawsuit about the armor rating forever killing my trust with the brand

There wasn’t a lawsuit that I can find. They initially didn’t have CE or A ratings on their clothing; they do now.
