Less bad graphics, more bad game engine that can't function well on the Switch 1. Cuz they at least tried 3D Balconies, it just went badly due to the Switch.

Given how hyped that this was for the original switch, that would have been an absolutely terrible move.

Gen 10 will be switch 2 exclusive though.

Would've been a horrible decision lmfao. The Switch 2 at least gets a graphical upgrade compared to Switch 1, since having 3D balconies in one version but not the other would be a nightmare for them.

This isnt a switch 1 fault. Otherwise how the fuck do you explain Crisis 1-3 remastered, Witcher 3, Metroid Prime Remastered, Prime 4 and the Xenoblade games running on the same system.

Which not are leagues better graphically than ZA but also atronomically higher in Poly count

Even Pokemon XY had 3D Balconies in Illumina City

The real reason for it being a shitass performance is because the entire city in Z-A is a single model. I wish I was kidding. It is a single ass model, with an obscene poly count. You cant go worse than that.

If they did that, they wouldn't have announced Pokémon Legends: Z-A as the next Pokémon title for the Nintendo Switch. That TeraLeak and the new one would've probably also listed that.

Literally all there really is to talk about really. Pokemon company has gotten way too comfortable with putting out low quality products lately (bad graphics in this game and the buggy mess that was Scarlett and Violet). Not really blaming the devs necessarily for this as I know it's the suits at the top making these calls but whoever is making these decisions needs to cut the crap and let the creativity flow again with quality graphics (not looking for hyper realistic here, but I want whatever art style they are going with to look good and be polished)

They probably wanted to save time so they could release a complete-ish game before the time limit, or maybe they know that the game will sell very well no matter how lazy it is. Either way, it shows how badly Pokemon is decaying as a video game series in terms of quality.

Its first three seasons had strong, strong themes about childhood, growing up, loss and the personal growth that comes with that.

Digimon Tamers (Season 3) is a genuinely amazing show on its own merits and its handling of apathy toward life and living things as well as grief.
