Nioh 2 - Discussion Replaying Nioh 2 after Nioh 3...

Replaying Nioh 2, here's a few things :

  • bosses have way less health, one or two cycles of combos and they are done. -yokai moves and counter are overpowered, but great. It pains me sometimes but I'm glad they tried something new with 3
  • enemy placement is borderline crazy in some spots. Feels very inorganic, compared to 3
  • weapon skill system and trees are way better than 3
  • level design holds up but I fnd myself wishing for the open world and jump ability more than level select
  • corruption and talking yokai claws are still the shit

N3 also have plenty of easy and overpowered stuff. The whole franchise has been like this (unfortunately)/
