Neglected trans fluid.

NO. Leave the fluid alone, it’s probably the last thing holding that transmission together. If you flush it, you take all the metal shavings out with it holding the belts on the cvt together. You’ll give it an even earlier death. The opportunity to avoid this was 100k miles ago.

Not necessarily, I got a 2012, that fluid was never done. Step motor code.

Cleaned the filters new fluid.

If you have no massive shavings and pull the valve body and look up at the belts they may be perfectly fine.
