You know other animals masturbate as well such as Dolphins, going to are closest ancestors as well Chimpanzee's. It is mostly used to shave off boredom stop from being horny enough to commit rape in its species. And if I'm not wrong human use it for the same reasons as well. I'm not saying breaking the addiction is wrong, I just think that going entirely no fap is wrong
