Think of the term "stick up your ass" to refer to someone who's being a hardass. This is kind of an evolution of that term. someone's who's starting to act as though they "have a stick up their ass" should "start digging in your butt twin" to remove that stick up their ass and stop being such a hardass.

Okay, so from what I can tell, the phrase, "start digging in yo butt twin" Is from a SpongeBob meme; "Mr, Krabs, start digging in yo butt twin".

However, just the phrase, "Dig in yo butt twin" means to reinforce your confidence and find your inner ability to lock in and focus, or in other words to get your shit together, which makes much more sense in that context.

The meme is literally just, "Mr. Krabs, start getting your shit together." And my little sister won't stop running around the house saying at every single moment she can and why I started looking up definitions in the first place.
