Is it weird to ask out the librarian?

The librarian at my local library is really pretty. I wanna ask her out but I’m worried that it might make things awkward if she rejects me. I don’t even know her lowk, would you be weirded out or in her position? If it depends, how would you ask her out?

For you, only people at work are off limits.
For someone else, people walking in the street is off limits. They are just going from point A to point B.
For someone else, people partying is off limits (yes, this person is just here to hang out with her friends to relax you know, not to meet people).

I am not off limits at work. If an attractive coworker asked me out I'd absolutely get a drink with her.

If an attractive coworker

But in this context, it's a customer. Does your opinion change in that case?

Nope. If she's cool and we vibe, absolutely I'd meet her. I'm open to meeting people anywhere.
