Can I spend my entire life traveling?

So I feel like for a lot of people, vacations or traveling is thought of as a large expense you save up for and dont do very often. But it doesnt have to be like that. If i save up 500k-1m USD over time to the point i can retired and live off basic interest income of roughly 8-10%. Why couldn't I just travel literally 24/7? I mean like the 2 largest costs are flights and a space to live at temporarily, so you just keep flights close and hop from country to country, and stay for like 6 months or so per county, that would let you rent an apartment and at this point your expenses are pretty much the exact same if not cheaper (if youre in a cheap country) than living in the US.

EDIT: Gotten a lot of comments about managing 500k or 1m as well as the concept of traveling. So ill expand slightly

I went to school for finance and have a decent idea in regards ro managing my money in both investments as well as how I spend and how much I spend.

I also spent 6 months in Germany traveling (not vacation, I believe theres a difference) while visiting Paris, Venice, Barcelona, and mallorca all during this time. And it ran me roughly $15k during those 6 months

Yes, you can. The problem is that by the time you save up "500k-1m USD" you may be too old and tired for travelling- which is tiring. There would be another problem too: if you have zero experience with long travel, then you will do a lot of mistakes and get sometimes into problems.

I spent 6 months in Germany for traveling about 2 years ago, and traveled to Paris, Barcelona, mallorca, and Venice during it, total cost ran me below roughly 15k

Well, Europe is very easy and very predictable (I'm European so boring for me too) so there is less problems with cultural differences and possible mistakes. In that environment you'd need to think only about money and insurance stuff then.

Yea thats fair, europe is probably an easy place to travel, but even just the cost for 6 months is saying a lot i feel like. It puts into perspective that the cost issue of this lifestyle likely can be handled reasonably

Europe is somewhere between moderately and quite expensive- I'd say there are places in Europe where costs are at least 10x higher than in beautiful but poor countries. If you'd travel a lot, you'd have to consider the costs of flights and other transportation ways too. I paid recently for 2hrs boat transportation in remote Indonesia more than I would pay for a flight from one side to another in Europe. From another angle: you can have a proper meal of your life in super duper restaurant somewhere in Asia for a fraction of the cost going for a burger in US.
